For a Michael Bay film, I actually found the amount of flag-waving and patriotic sentiment very, very restrained.

I actually found it a departure from previous bay films - but it'll take me a while to type out why.

It could have used more wide shots and less blurry close-ups, though.

Be warned, though: don't watch unless you have a strong stomach. Suspira and Inferno were pretty twisted films, and Argento appears to be trying to top them.
As long as it retains the brilliant dreamlike atmosphere of the first two in amongst all the blood, though, I'm happy.
