Kanan just started to wake from the trickery this girl has done. He wasn't harmed anyway as he feels no injuries being made while he was asleep. He stretched a bit by cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders. He listened to her words, he isn't upset at all in fact he is intrigued by what she did. "You could kill me anytime you want, can you?" He asked a rehtorical question. The mysterious skill she has displayed is proof. "Teach me, please." He swallowed his pride in wanting to learn from this girl and accepted the training.

A smirk crawled across Pennie's face, slowly turning more devilish and sinister. She lowered her head and let the grin crawl further than it could naturally. Her eyes turn onyx black and her skin turned a demonic shade of purple. A chuckle leaked from her lips as she lifted her face to reveal her new visage. Words would escape from Pennie, but the words were distorted. The sound reverberated and gained a guttural tone.
"Yes, Kanan, I could kill you any time." A few seconds of her gaze meeting Kanan's before her form would fade from view as her body faded away as a wisp of smoke. As the smoke dissipated, a blade made of vibrant, glowing, violet energy pierced through Kanan's back and protruded through his sternum. A pulse of energy would flow through his body. The blade would be pulled back through the stab wound through the other side, where Pennie was standing, her arm some monstrous form of a demonic violet scythe. "If you want me to teach you, then this is your first lesson. Within you lies a great power. Learn to let that power flow through you, wrap yourself in it, embrace it. You'll die if you don't...." Pennie would fade away once again. The wound she left would begin to leak out a flood of Kanan's aura. Soon, his entire life force would fade away if he couldn't learn to control this power Pennie spoke of.
Ten (点, Point) The user shrouds their body in aura. The aura forms a basic, shell-like shield over the whole body. This ability is useful in reducing damage from incoming Nen attacks. Using this ability reduces incoming damage from a Nen-based attack equal to 10% of your Aura Stat. This lasts until another ability from the Nen of the Flame list or the Advanced Nen list is used, or until dismissed by the user. Technique Type: Nen Point Cost: 10 Aura Requirements: The training for basic Ten consists of focusing one's aura and allowing it to envelop into a shroud around the body. To begin, the master that is conducting the training must release the aura nodes in the body. This is usually done through a direct strike using Nen. The master will ensure this strike does not kill the trainee. After taking the hit, the trainee must exert all of their effort shroud oneself will their aura. 200 words are required to be posted in training this technique.
Yami Matsuoda [ Outlaw Hunter | Level 5 Hunter ] Yami stepped slowly across the wooden platform of the pier. He lifted his hand to his face and plucked a cigarette from his mouth, blowing the smoke out into the air. He placed the stogie back to his lips and held it between them. He began to steadily puff on the cigarette as he walked. Yami eventually made it to the end of the pier near a spot where he could sit and watch the breaking crests of water and ships coming into the port.
Yami would hop up onto the stone wall and grab a seat. He opened up the plastic bag from the liquor store and pulled out one of the 40oz bottles of malt liquor. A wide grin would grow across his face right before he cracked the bottle open. With a free hand, Yami pulled what was now the smokey butt of a cigarette. He flicked the butt away and watched it bounced off of a damp stone and fall into a tiny puddle of water. Yami gave a small chuckle as he then lifted the bottle to his lips and started to gulp the malt liquor. He wouldn't stop at all until that bottle was half way drunk. A full 20oz. went right down his gullet and he finished with a fulfilled sigh.
"Yeah, that hits the ********' spot." The red-headed hunter would stay sitting upon the stone wall watching the scenery before him. He'd gotten quite a bit of work done recently and it was about time he had a moment to himself to rest and relax.

Kanan was mesmerized by what he was witnessing. It was truly astonishing sight. The little girl faded slowly as a wisp of smoke. The smoke would soon fade away. In seconds, stab sensation. He felt his body being destroyed or something that his body was dying. Slowly stood up, still feeling the pain that he is feeling. He heard that he'd die if he doesn't learn. Kanan smiled a bit while in pain, "What a great teacher you are." He thought that he has two choices either die or over come this power. Kanan thought that this was not a normal attack but something related to the woman's abilities. He feels that this wasn't her power but his that was manifesting outward. With this he can eventually do the samethings the woman did to him. Maybe in the future surpass her. Kanan started to smile even more. No doubt that he is going to enjoy this evening. He clinched his fist and tried to spread the power all over his body but smoothly. "You should no something about me....I'm a survivor and I don't go down easily." letting the little girl know that he intends to complete this 'training'.

It seemed to Pennie that Kanan had a bit of innate control over his aura based on how easily he seemed to overcome her attack. The small girl would materialize once more, taking on her original visage. She'd approach Kanan and place a palm upon his sternum, feeling the flow of aura inside of him. A smile crept across Pennie's face as her reticence about training Kanan washed away. It was time to teach him the next step.
"I've unlocked your aura and shown you what true power can be. Now, it's time to learn to control it." Pennie removed her hand from Kanan's sternum and took a few steps backwards. She looked up to meet his eyes and and shared her smile. "Now that you can control your aura enough to wrap it around your body, you must figure out how to shut off your aura entirely. This is a necessary skill to learn to avoid detection from other with this power. Just try to shut off the flow of aura and you'll succeed."

Using this technique increases the user's own Stealth Stat by 50% of their maximum Aura Stat. This lasts until another ability from the Nen of the Flame list or the Advanced Nen list is used, or until dismissed by the user. Technique Type: Nen Point Cost: 0 Aura Requirements: The trainee must close all of the aura nodes that they just opened through Ten in order to stop the flow of aura. This training takes a total of 200 words to complete the training for this technique.
He was able to overcome his first test of his training. This energy that is spreading over his body is called aura. This energy seems to be very interesting. Unlike weapons a person can use in their hand, this 'aura' is within anyone and can help a person increase their power and then some other things perhaps. He listened to his 'teacher' and explained that he unlocked his aura and shown what real power truly is. It is indeed the manifestation of power itself no doubt. Now, this time it is to start his second phase of his training on aura. Having aura, it is time for Kanan to learn how to control it. Kanan is able to wrap his body in aura, he has to learn how to shut it off entirely. His teacher explained that this is a necessary skill to avoid detection. If it is to avoid detection that it is obvious that there are those to sense those with aura or a skill to sense a person. If what he is doing is releasing aura than clearly all he has to do is the opposite. But more hidden. "Basically the opposite. That wouldn't' be too hard." He did as he described. The aura that was wrapped around his body faded, leaving without a trace. "I'm sure it is hidden."

Kanan was either a prodigy or Pennie was a great teacher. The former seemed more likely. Pennie would form again before Kanan. She'd smile at him and then speak. "You really are getting the hang of this, aren't you? Now, it's time for you to show me you're able to fine tune your control over your aura. First, you will wrap your aura around your fists and your feet. Learn to strike harder using aura to amplify your strength. Second, focus the aura into the entirety of your legs. You will feel yourself moving faster. Third, focus the aura into your core. Get it gathered right into your gut, or sternum, or wherever that part of the body is called. Do that and feel your control over your body increase. It will teach you to better evade attacks." Once again, Pennie would vanish from sight.
Ren (錬, Temper) The user focuses Aura to be more condensed in certain parts of their body. Focusing it to the hands or feet increases the Strength stat by 10% of the Aura Stat. Focusing on both legs increased the Speed Stat by 10% of the Aura Stat (doesn't increase Evasion). Focusing on one's core and back increases the Evasion Stat by 10% of the Aura Stat. This lasts until another ability from the Nen of the Flame list or the Advanced Nen list is used, or until dismissed by the user. Switching the buff applied by this technique costs only 5 Aura. Technique Type: Nen Point Cost: 10 Aura Requirements: The trainee must make three post to learn Ren. The first post must be at least 150 words learning to increase the amount of aura in the hands and feet. The second post of 150 words must be learning to focus aura into both legs. The third post of 150 words is learning to focus aura in the core, around the diaphragm.
Kanan past the current phase of her test. Though it was a lot easier than the pain he had to endure when he was expierencing when he was stabbed through the torso. She was impressed by Kanan's ability in handling the training he was performing. But now it is time fine tune his control over his aura. She instructed him to first wrap his aura around his fists and feet. She explained by doing this, he will move faster, hit harder, be more agile."That will be very useful. Lets try the hands first." Kanan focused his aura into his hands and only his hands. Slowly, there was a spark of aurawith in his fist but soon it would grow, covering his entire hand. "This would be getting some use too. I have to eventually do this when it is instant; it takes too long and I could die just by being a second late." He looks around the alley way they were in and to test out this punch, he decided to punch a dumpster. With his enhanced fist. Kanan opened his hand, stretching out his fingers and from his little finger to his thumb; he brought them back , closing them one by one. You can hear the sound of cracking knuckles. He then brought his arm back near his shoulder and with a full right straight, Kanan took one step forward, twisting his hips,and unleashed a right straight jab to the dumpster. Once his punch came into contact with the object, the sound that his punch made when it came into contact was staggering; almost like a gong or a sledgehammer hitting metal. The Dumpster was pushed by that one punch and was rolled a few dozen yards until it stopped. He can immediately kill a person with a punch like that. There is no doubt he can punch a hole in a person's head or chest with ease if he can.
After the test of his punch it is time to test the legs. He dispersed the aura around his fist and then focused on doing the same thing on his legs. As expected it was slow build. After he succeeded his training, he will have a private practice. Kanan's feet was surrounded by aura. He decided to test his jumping ability. He did a soft jump and with a soft jump, Kanan was able to leap almost ten feet. That was with a soft jump that he did. "Going to have fun with this." He then squatted a bit; bending his knees and put more aura in his legs. His feet spiked with aura but wasn't a huge development. He then jumped as hard as he could and he was able to leap past a three story building. "This is very satisfying."
