Twas' a moment of happiness sparsely shared between two star crossed lovers. A beast and a wolf, wrapped in sheep's clothing, having gone too far from her herd. The coalescing of moans spread through the room as soft thuds transited from one to the next. First, congruent, then just a little louder til a gasping revelation was shared. In an out. Hopelessly to find love in something odd and then, in something new; who'd have known it to be so. . easy? Too easy. Fate played the dozens and dealt cards for everyone. Not me, nor you, can control how the bell tolls and it seemed, that Roselle's time was all but up.
To know for that brief moment he'd found something worth protecting. Worth putting his all in line for -- Well Asche would bet everything that he'd go a mile and a halve for the woman he shared a bed with now. The afterglow was marvelous as his fingertips grazed her arm, laying naked behind her. Momentarily nuzzling into her neck while taking in that scent he loved so very much.
A rose couldn't have been sweeter smelled, some might say.
". . And what do we do now. ."
Cooing almost. Soft but with an edge of avid angst. Another go? He wasn't against it. Taking a moment to view everything that she was and then some. Letting the brim of his visage take time to capture everything about her, from those horns on down to the tips of her toes. Yes, he was enamored by it all. "Might be a better idea to check on everyone. . We've been in here for a bi-"
SHAKE! KRRRRR! BOOM!
The entire upper deck shook as something landed aboard. God damn it. How long had it been since they'd dealt with the last damn encounter? In a rush Asche threw his clothes on while grabbing his katana -- nothing but a T-shirt and some bottoms with clogs. The climate wasn't as frosty, which he was definitely happy about when arriving. On deck stood a man almost as tall as Asche himself. Sporting brown hair, a gloss of scars and muscle galore. He'd only look towards the blonde beast with a sneer, then back to Roselle as she arrived behind him. Ah yes. So she was traveling with these guys after all. "Well well well. Look who it is. Finally found ya' after all this time, princess~" His voice jeered as Asche turned confused to look back, then towards the man once more. "Who the ******** are you and why are you on my ship?"
A confused glare -- Kyng's eyes went to Roselle then back to Asche. She hadn't told them? For a few moments that face of his grew into a grin. "Aye, I've come to collect our princess. She's been runnin' for awhile now, but I finally found her. Took me so damn long too. But after seein' her face on a wanted poster for some crew called the Big Smile Pirates, I couldn't help but come see fa' myself and lookie, I was right on the money too!" Again, Asche turned his head back to the black haired woman. "You're a princess?" And that, was when Kyng let out a loud, hard laugh.
"KAHAHAHAHAH! No man. Not a real ********' princess. I just call er' princess. It's what I use to call her with the gang. Bloody Princess of the Moon, Black Knight Elle. Aint't that right, Princess?"" He didn't know what to take. What the hell was this man going on about?! Taking a step forward, Asche began to draw his blade. "Her name is Roselle! Not Elle! She's not some Black Knight! She's my crews doctor!" Wow. From hysteria came a look of seriousness, face growing grim. Now Kyng grew annoyed. "Oi, don't you say that bullshit to me. That's definitely the Black Knight. She just ain't got her weapons or her armor. Just because she hid the truth from you don't mean she don't know who she is, ********> Again, Asche drew back in confusion. Teeth gritting. Why was there always someone telling him s**t like he didn't understand it! In a rush, without thought, the blonde sped forward with blade out, attempting to skewer the man.
KRINK!
A simple block with his finger. A superb use of Haki. "Tch. You gotta be kiddin' me. You're hangin' out with a kid this weak Elle? You could've at least found better cover." In frustration, Asche continued to swing. Time and time again, the clanging of his blade against the man's finger rung through the air. CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! But nothing! Nothing landed! He couldn't hit this guy no matter how hard he tried. In desperation he tried for an attack from the air, but was met with an outstretched arm gripping his neck, slamming him into the deck as a foot lay firm to his chest after. A finger of black poised to strike true. "I ain't got time for no more games. This kid ain't even worth me warmin' up. Elle, get yer' s**t so we can go. ." The luck on his face meant he was serious. "...unless you want me to kill the brat here and now. I can do that if it works for ya'." A hand reached up, gripping the man's leg with anger. "Roselle. . Isn't. . Goin'. . NOWHERE WITH YOU! GET OFF ME!" A hard stomp shut that down quick. "This little s**t is really pissin' me off. Know what, Elle. . . Explain to the brat who you are cause I ain't got time for this anymore. Maybe if he heard it from you, he'd feel a lot better." STR 362 || SPD 125 || END 100 || ACC 00 || INT 00 DEX 160 || HP 1040/1040 || SPI 168

Roselle Stark
XXX "Hm..?" Asche's question stirred the drowsy Roselle from her dozing state, and the woman shifted her body to lay back against him more, smiling as she felt him nuzzle against her neck. This was the first time she'd actually been with someone she cared about like this, and it was strange but not at all unpleasant to feel so comfortable and safe. "Whatever you wish." As long as Asche was happy, she would be, too. To his other suggestion, she frowned slightly, wishing at least to stay in bed curled up how she was. But he was right, and checking on the crew was far more important than her own selfish desires. Before she could agree though, a loud crashing noise interrupted them, signaling that something else had made its way to their ship once again. Couldn't they get a break?! Weird killer rabbits and Asche's brother weren't enough?! Concern in her eyes, Roselle moved to follow Asche's lead, throwing her clothes on and following after him. The cause of all the commotion was far worse than anything she could have expected: Kyng. She felt her blood run cold, eyes widening at the familiar figure before them, shocked to her core that her past had caught up to her like this.
Why? It had already been a year since she'd left, since she'd disappeared, so why couldn't they just let her be? For once she'd found a place where she felt she could belong, where she could be loved, and now Kyng was here to take that all away. Gritting her teeth, Roselle felt a familiar rage rise within her. Such was an emotion she tried not to display around her new friends, and it wasn't one she liked to feel either. It was ugly. Destructive. A part of who she had once been that she'd tried so desperately to change. "I'm not your princess! I never was!" Golden eyes narrowed at the man in a glare as she snapped at him. They had worked together, and sure she'd slept with him, but he had never meant anything to her. None of them had. And she was so sure she had meant nothing to them either. So why the hell was he here? Hearing her old moniker, the woman's face scrunched up as if the very words made her wince. "That's not who I am.." And it was true. She wasn't the Black Knight any longer. That woman had died the day Asche and Nefertari had found her and saved her. "He's right. I'm Roselle. I'm this crew's doctor."
She could feel her heart hammering in her chest, clearly panicked by Kyng's presence. This was a side of her she'd never wanted her friends to see, and it's why she hadn't ever mentioned it. She was ashamed of who she'd been. What she'd done. If she'd told them - if she'd truly opened up herself to them - they never would have accepted her. That's how it always went. Nobody ever wanted the real her. Clenching her teeth, she felt tears form in her eyes, looking away from both men. A moment after that, she turned her gaze back to Asche as he rushed forward, a horrified expression on her face. "Wait!" But he did not. His blade met Kyng's finger, his body hardened to a near impenetrable armor. Asche was strong, but he wasn't strong enough for this. Their group had been the absolute worst of monsters. "Don't hurt him!" As her Captain yelled and retaliated against the newcomer, Roselle whispered a single word under her breath.
"「 R O O M 」"
The moment her technique finished, Kyng and Roselle suddenly switched places. Kneeling down next to Asche, she glared up at her old comrade with fury and sorrow in her eyes. "..Fine. I'll go. Just don't hurt anyone on this ship, or I will make your death as painful as I can possibly imagine." Even as she gave herself up to leave, she had every intention of killing him the moment she felt her friends were safe. Turning her attention back to Asche, the woman bit her lip, tears dripping down her cheeks as she realized she had no choice but to tell him the truth. The full truth. "I'm.. I'm so sorry.. When we met I didn't tell you everything.. I.. I used to be a mercenary.. After I was abandoned by Skypiea, that's how I ended up.. A mercenary for the 9 Beasts of Maphelsto.. And we did such horrible, bloody things.. I used to be the 'Black Knight'.. And I used to work with him.." She dipped her head toward Kyng. "But after a while I just couldn't take it anymore! So I left.. I left and I changed! This crew helped me change! But I.. I couldn't tell you all.. Because I was afraid you'd abandon me, too.."
The woman was well aware of her selfishness, but she'd never thought her past would come back to haunt her like this. "I'm so sorry. I never wanted any of you to get hurt.." Sniffling, she wiped at her eyes, glaring back to where Kyng stood.

  All he felt was rage.
Boiling over after moments, Asche completely stopped listening to what was going on around him. Even after Roselle swapped places with him using room, as he stood back to his feet a shadow glossed his features. A stationary anguish that seemed to grow with each passing moments of the eyes of that beast churned to a lost coloration. Of course, Kyng merely sat there with a smile on his face at the sight of Elle trying so hard to save her precious friend. "Don' go hurtin' folk? Thas' strange comin' from you of all people. Boy these guys must've really softened you up. Kahahaha~" Smacking his chest, the man took a seat on the deck as Roselle explained her story. The group known as the Nine Beasts, who were notorious for their all out slaughter in the New World. If you were unlucky enough to come across even one, that could spell doom for you and all your loved ones. They were killers of the highest order. The cream of the crop and they held no emotions for the people they tracked down in the slightest.
After the story was finished Kyng let out a roaring laugh, guzzling down some sake he kept on a gourd at his hip. "Had no idea you were harborin' a monster, huh kid? Elle here was one of our strongest too! The Black Knight, Malphelsto's Ram! She really knew how to get the blood pumpin'. . " An eye raised as he spoke, Kyng's smile seeming to widen as the iris's glowed for a moment. ". . And I mean that. . Should've heard her in the bedroom. . Kahahahahaha~"
Then. . There was a strange quiet. Asche, who'd been standing there the entire time, suddenly began to pulse. Eyes of gold shimmering as the Hitokori let loose a smile that seemed to mimic Kyng's own. A flaring mass of pressure exuded off him as the careening energies crashed the deck, Kyng quickly standing to his feet as the killing intent emanating off the kid grew ten fold. What in the world was this s**t? "Oh? Was he holdin' back Elle? You told me not to hurt em' but if he attacks me I can't be held responsible." The inner words shared between Asche and his other were sound -- they had spoken of this once before. Dark water swirled as he slammed his fist into the misty waves.
"She lied to me! After all this time! After everything! It was all a lie!"
"Well. . What did you expect? You know how this world is better than anyone."
"BUT I LOVE HER! She's the only person I've ever really loved. ."
"Do you think that matters? Listen. . Shut your heart to these distractions. . Remember our deal? The next person who comes ********' with our crew has to die. . Now let me out of this cage!"
". . . "
Moments reconnected in the real world as his eyes settled, teeth gritting while features took to fangs. Horns started to protrude from Asche's forehead as his chest expanded and muscles grew, then, they shrunk as red steam filled the air around him. His blade raised up for a moment to look in over in avid confusion. "Keh. . This piece of s**t ain't gon' do. I'mma break it if I swing too hard. ." Speaking to no one in particular, it seemed Asche was swinging the the sword in the air over and over again. Kyng stared at the kids new form. His muscles weren't as prominent, but he was red now with slit eyes and horns protruding from his head? What in the hell was this? "Ionno' whatcha did kid, but it do seem like it'll do much for ya'. Ya' don't seem much different ta' me." Blinking, the being formally known as Asche grinned. "Ehh? Really. . I could've sworn I was stronger now. ."
SPLASH!
A gash appeared across Kyng's torso suddenly, blood sputtering about as the man's eyes grew wide. He leaped back a few feet, touching the wound as Asche laughed in a hardy fashion. "SUUUHAHAHAHAH! I guess ya' didn't notice! I swung at ya' earlier!" When?! How?! Suddenly things had changed. The aura of Kyng magnified as he pulled from his back a pair of what looked like over the top knuckles. His signature weapon. "Alright kid, ya' got my attention. The names Kyng, Gorilla Beast of Malphesto! I accept your challenge. Les' have a fight to the death." Asche grinned, leaning forward. "You can call me. . The Hitokori! Suhahaha! Don't die too ********' quick. I ain't never been cut loose before!" In those spare moments, not a single time did Asche turn to look at Roselle. Never did he acknowledge her existence, for this being only knew one thing and one thing only.

Roselle Stark
XXX "I'm a different person than I was back then!" After everything she had done, Roselle no longer held any desire to bring harm to those around her, even if she was dealing with "bad" people. She'd caused enough pain for one lifetime, and had grown tired of the sight of blood brought forth by her hands. Each day was easier to face when she spent her time healing rather than killing. The sensation of a strong blood lust that wasn't coming from Kyng this time was surprising, and the woman tensed as she turned her gaze to Asche. It was similar to how he'd been before, when he'd been sick and those large rabbit like creatures had attacked their ship. Such a feeling didn't at all fit the usual demeanor of her happy-go-lucky Captain, and she still couldn't understand where exactly it came from. If Asche wasn't sick anymore, then why was he still acting like this? She'd seen him fight before, but over the past year had never felt his aura seem so cruel until recently. Was this an after effect of his sickness? Or perhaps, had he always been like this? Maybe it wasn't just Roselle who was harboring secrets about her past.
The new form he took was surprisingly similar to hers, though he looked far more like a demon at the moment than she did. A moment later, blood burst from a wound on Kyng's chest and Roselle flinched, only now realizing that when he'd been swinging his sword he'd attacked the man across from him. "Please don't fight! I'll leave, so please! Just stop!" Despite her hatred for Kyng at the moment, she really didn't want him to get hurt either. Earlier she'd thought that maybe she could kill him when he let his guard down, but she knew that wasn't true. Her threats were empty now. The day Nefertari and Asche had saved her, she'd been prepared to die at the hands of some random ruffian, finally ready to pay for her sins with her own blood. When she'd gotten another chance, she'd sworn she would never again do any harm. So she'd just have to do her best to protect both of the men before her.
The next person who moved to attack would find their blows halted by an invisible barrier that slowly began to crack as the force continued against it. Since neither of the men were paying her much attention, it was easy for her to take advantage of the situation. Around both of their feet pooled a thick gray paste that rapidly hardened to hold them in place, followed up by what appeared to be soft straps that wrapped around each of the combatant's limbs, restraining them to the ground beneath them. "Asche, stop! This isn't you!" One of the reasons she had fallen for him was because of how different he'd been from the life she'd lead. He lived freely, but not violently, and she'd always admired that. "No more death, I'm begging you!"

Their clash wasn't something you were going to ignore. It was inevitable, like the coming tide or the seasonal change. You knew it was around the bend. A step, a pivot, then a shocking concourse of energy and mass as the two knew there wasn't any time to waste. In unison they both moved forward aiming to go for a killing strike if they could. The glint in their eyes, and the respective smiles were equal/ In these first few moments they both felt a solemn truth between them.
"I'll kill him right now!"
With blade out and first presented, they'd slam into the barrier presented by Roselle. Eyes widening from Kyng while Asche's expression grew angered. A shattering occurring thereafter and then, suddenly, they were both being held in place by more of Roselle's wild fruit magic.
"Asche, stop! This isn't you!"
An eye twitched in irritation. It wasn't him?! And then, she wanted to go a step further. Going from trying to tell him who he was to begging him to stop. And inwardly he cracked as teeth gritted in frustration. "She's ri-" Wrong. "NO! YOU SIT BACK AND SHUT THE HELL UP! THIS IS MY TIME! I FINALLY GET TO HAVE FUN AND YOU AREN'T GONNA ******** THIS UP FOR ME!" Kyng laid where he was, not making any motions. If Elle agreed to come back, he'd already resolved to stop fighting. The kid was the one who was rearin' to go. "Tch. You must care a lot about the s**t." A harsh remark as his eyes moved to Asche, smiling with mischief. "Aye kid, you and Elle have something deep? Well lemme tell you. ." Head reared back, grinning. "She don't love nothing. No one. Truth is, she used you and you're little group to hide after failin' a mission. Boss was real mad at her too and you were good cover for a long time. She used you just so she could hide. ." Yanking his arm up from the tethers, then his feet, he'd continue. "She probably said s**t like she loved you. Maybe even ******** you. All for the sake of hiding who she was. We Beasts do s**t like that all the time. We assume fake identities so we can make sure our missions get done. This Roselle chick yer' talkin' bout don't exist. Elle was just doin' what Elle does best."
And then, the icing on the cake. He could see the eyes of his opponent churning with rage.
"Ya' probably didn't even satisfy her either. She's slept with plenty of guys to get what she wants. Hell, I used to bang her lights out after missions. Kaahahaha! So don't feel bad! You were just another number added to the li-"
SLINK!
The binds holding the beast were instantly shattered. Asche's eyes slit, aura flared as he slammed his foot down and wiped the area clean of Roselle's adhesive. Placing his sword up against his shoulder, that anger turning to anguish only produced a broken smile. Used again. That's all he was good for. "You talk too much. We're supposed to be killin' each other. I don't care for nothin' else right now!" Yes! That was what Kyng wanted to hear. Reeling back, he came rushing forward while Asche prepared his stance, but spoke softly to the woman behind him in tandem.
"I don't wanna hear a word from you."
Wind cascaded off the arm as he threw his punch -- it sliding forward only to miss by inches as Asche pivoted. The excess force carrying gale strength, tearing off a bit of the front end of the ship. His pivot took him to the man's left, where a blade met nothing but air as Kyng leaped upward, pulling his fist back time and time again to send pressurized bullets raining down. Usually, Asche took precaution not to harm the ship or the people on it, but that currently wasn't the case. Dodging the attacks slightly, their pathing took them through the deck to crash holes in it as the red demon met the gorilla mid air. His blade turning bright red as Kyng's arm turned black and the duo clashed right there.
Shockwaves were sent crashing to the boat and to the waters around as the entire area shook. Both having the same crazed grin. Both exuding an extreme amount of killing intent. And in between that, a small cry of pain and anguish, as a man who'd been broken lost himself to war. STR 362 || SPD 125 || END 100 || ACC 00 || INT 00 DEX 160 || HP 1040/1040 || SPI 168

Roselle Stark
XXX Tears of frustration spilled down Roselle's cheeks as Kyng kept speaking things that had once been true but no longer were. "You're wrong! I do love this crew! They're the only family who has ever loved me!" Skypiea had ran her out for the abomination she was, her mercenary group had only used her and wanted her until she messed up, and she could barely remember if her biological parents had ever wanted anything to do with her. This crew had given her a home when she'd had nowhere to go, they'd given her a purpose when she had no reason to live, and they'd comforted her when she made mistakes instead of throwing her to the side like trash. EZ had taught her strange skills, shared wild stories, and had liked Roselle enough to be willing to part with one of her precious apricots. Marshall, though he was new, had given her good life advice and had stood up for her when they had been at the bar together. Nefertari - even if he didn't care for her presence - had saved her life, had protected her when the crew got into battles, and had even given her his blessing to pursue Asche when he loved him, too. And Asche... He'd accepted her from the beginning, despite her disgusting appearance, and had even told her that he found her flaws to be beautiful. He'd shown her that there was far more to life than pain and killing, and that the world could truly be a wonderful place.
For Kyng to try to disregard all of that made the woman feel an intense and familiar rage. "I wasn't using them! I ran away to die and they saved me! I just wanted to stay by their sides and make them happy!" Her body was trembling, her arms wrapped around herself tightly as she watched the two men tensely. More than anything she wanted this to be a nightmare, some horrible dream she could learn from somehow. "I'm not.. Elle anymore.." Her voice suddenly sounded quieter, biting her lip to keep herself from dissolving into sobs. "I'm Roselle.. I am.. But I couldn't say anything because.. Because I couldn't bear it if.. if you threw me away, too.." This was all she had left, and the only reason she felt any desire to continue living at all. Without this crew, she was nothing. The worthless offspring of a coupling that should have never occurred. A heartless mercenary who deserved a tomb at the bottom of the ocean. "I'll leave, but please.. Please believe me.. I love you all so much." She unfurled her wings, ready to leave with her former comrade, but the man's words had gotten her Captain more than riled up. Once again they exchanged blows, over and over again, neither of them injury themselves, but the damage they were causing to the ship was just as dangerous. "Stop it! You're going to wreck the ship!"
Daring to step a little closer, a long lock of Roselle's hair suddenly curled around Kyng's leg, squeezing him tightly and yanking him off his feet to drag him toward her. "I already told you I'd go so just stop it!" Beating her wings, she took to the air, attempting to drag the other Beast along with her.

Marshall
Enough is enough.
There was never a moment of peace on this ship, but this time, it was just ******** ridiculous. Marshall rose from his bed, his nose once again picking up the scent of someone aboard the Maribel. He could hear the sounds of screaming followed by loud bangs and crashes, the screams mostly coming from Roselle and the captain, but the noises were the most likely result of a fight. At first, it sounded pretty one-sided, though it soon turned into an even bout, one that began tearing the ship itself apart. Pulling open the door, he walked towards the deck, stumbling as tremors grew more and more frequent. A stronger scent hit Marshall's nose resembling that of the captain, yet far more violent and untamed. It reeked of death, something that he faintly smelled on Asche from time to time, but never as strong as it was now.
What he saw at that moment was utter chaos. Asche was acting all strange and engaged in combat with some man who looked like he had seen numerous battles. Roselle was busy trying to pull this mystery man off of their captain, while also trying her best to calm him down, with little success. He was almost tempted to jump into the fray, however, held back because he was unsure of the state that his captain was in. One wrong move could spell disaster and lead to a situation far worse than what was currently going down. Amidst the chaos, what caught his attention were the words coming out of Roselle's mouth, mentioning her agreeing to leave in exchange for sparing Asche's life. The skypiean held his position, weighing his options, trying to ascertain the best possible course of action. In the next few seconds, Marshall leaped from the ground and into the air, latching onto Roselle and blocking her view. His hands gripped her shoulders tightly as he pulled his head back, "YOU BLUBBERING IDIOT!!!" In an attempt to get her to release mystery man, Marshall headbutted his comrade, taking care to avoid her horns and pulled her towards the ground, "What the hell is wrong with you!!!" As blood would trickle down his forehead, Marshall would stare down Roselle with a glare filled with rage and disappointment. He slammed his fist against his chest and swung it up, pointing at the flag that waved proudly in the sky, "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE!? GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR a**!!!!"
Leaving her no room to speak he would continue his rant, "Don't you EVER let me hear words like that come out of your mouth again...We're family...Family sticks together..." Taking a large breath, he stepped back and turned around to face the two men duking it out. Marshall spread his arms out wide and threw his head up, "You want to protect us, but all you're going to do is hurt us. In the face of danger, we crack a smile," The man slapped his shoulder, right where his pirate tattoo rested and grinned, "That's the Big Smile Pirate way, and don't ever forget it!!!" His crimson eyes slid back, meeting her gaze, his hand coming down to point a finger at her. He wanted her to stop letting things come and go, opportunities to pass by like a swift breeze. She needed to be set straight and to get over whatever guilt train she was riding,"Ask yourself what you want and grasp it with your two hands even if the odds are stacked against you...Don't beg for things. Do it yourself, or else you won't get anything." Roselle was troubled, he realized that, but there was no amount of coddling or sympathizing that would even come close to opening her eyes to the reality of the situation that she was in. Wiping the blood his forehead, he would give her time to process what had just happened before speaking again, "Well? Have you snapped out of it yet? Let's make this clear. If you ever start to doubt yourself and whether you belong here or not...I'll be there the stick it to ya! Who cares if you used to kill people!? The past is the past, don't let it be the only thing that defines who YOU choose to be. Now tell me. What does Roselle want?"

We all have skeletons we'd like to keep tucked deep in our closets. Looking for the remorse to come to terms with that demon you'd like no one to see. Hoping that one day, you'd be able to understand the truth that those skeletons are going to get dug up. By someone or something. You can't hide the truth for what it is.
An old western standoff is what we had. Neither moving as Roselle's hair held fast to Kyng, but was suddenly slashed but a bullet from up high. Not knowing what words to put to the situation, Kyng only stared to the motley group around him in anger. This was a fight to the death, not some parley between friends. "Don' you guys understand respect?! Me an' this guy were havin' a damn good time!" Slamming his fists together, an eye would dart towards EZ while speaking. Her tone different. Her words poised. However, not aimed to the baboon. No, for the man clad in red and lost in a chain of confusion. Dealing with his turmoil how he knew best -- with nothing but a seethless rage and a lone tact that avoided reason. He wore his heart on his sleeve and time and time again it was left tattered.
That golden sheen returned to his eyes for a few moments as the red beast looked directly to EZ. Her and only her.
"I wanted a family. I wanted friends. Family and friends who wouldn't lie and use me, cause that's all I've ever seen in my life EZ. It ain't bout if this guy lied or not, but she told me the truth. Whoever she was isn't who she told me she was and no matter the reason, I would never hide my life from you all. Because I love you all as more than anything I've ever had." Tilting only slightly from her, he'd turn his sword sideways at the Gorilla. That golden gone and replaced with red, signaling the change over. "TCH! Aye, the names not Heather, and if it weren' for this idiots want to keep ya' ******** safe, I'd have been able to go all out already! Finally I get to play and I'm on a ********' leash."
Tucking the sword back while slanting over slighting, Hitokori sneered in disgust. These lot weren't gonna let him have his fun, at all. Especially not the mocha skinned, long legged one. The opposite, the Gorilla, stared blankly at them all. What did they think? This was some kind of pity party? That he was just gonna sit there and let this go? "Aye aye, you all wanna have your sprinkles and rainbows? Well toss that s**t out your a**. I came back to get Elle and if you're sayin' she's dead, then ain' no use for any of ya'. So. ." Smashing his fists together, he began to pace forward.
"Which one of ya' wanna die first?"
The scene was set and the Hitokori's grip tightened as he brought his blade back. Two beasts staring one another down for the moment -- then eyes wandering to the group as Kyng turned away. "In Alabasta. . It's about two days away. I'll meet you there and we can settle this, kid. Don't run neither, cause I'll track you all down." Without another word he leaped off into the air, drifting through some fog. As soon as he was gone, Asche turned back to normal.
No words, just action as he turned to walk to his room in a huff. "EZ, pilot us to Alabasta. Marshal, help me with repairs til we get to the docks. . " For a moment his head turned to Roselle. "He didn't hurt me much so I'm fine. You mind helping EZ out?" Not hearing the no or yes, he kept walking.
Time healed all wounds. But this one? It was a reopened one. It'd take time, a long time. STR 362 || SPD 125 || END 100 || ACC 00 || INT 00 DEX 160 || HP 1040/1040 || SPI 168

Roselle Stark
XXX Before Roselle could even comprehend what the blur in front of her was, a sharp pain split through her head as Marshall headbutted the woman. This, coupled with EZ's expertly hairsplitting shot, caused her concentration to break, sending Kyng tumbling back down to the ship. A moment later, the doctor was dragged down too, finally recognizing that it was Marshall who was admonishing her. Bringing her hands to her forehead, she rubbed at the new injury, looking up and seeing multiple Ocean Dogs as her blurry vision slowly stabilized. "Ow.." At first it sounded as if what he was saying was the backlash of her confessing that she was a fraud, and she curled into herself a little, a fresh set of tears pooling in her eyes. She'd been right. There was no way they could have accepted her past. But after a couple of moments it became apparent that just the opposite was true. Marshall wasn't yelling at her because he wanted her to leave. He was yelling at her because she'd tried to leave. "What..?" Even without the minor concussion it would have been confusing. From all her previous experiences, the idea of her being welcomed into a family despite her shortcomings wasn't possible. And yet...
Wide eyes stared back at the man as he continued to scold her, telling her to take what she wanted from this world, claiming that he didn't care about her past, and solidifying the idea that he'd be around for her because they were family. Slowly, she pulled herself onto her knees, staring up at her friend as he waited to hear what it was that she wanted, biting her lip to keep herself from crying. "I WANT TO STAY!" More than anything, she wanted to be with the crew. They were a wild, rowdy bunch, but they were kind, too. "Please let me keep sailing with you!" Roselle leaned forward in a pose very reminiscent of someone bowing until she heard EZ and Asche begin to speak to each other. Raising her head, she listened to them exchange words, flinching at her Captain's words. There had never been an intent to harm anyone in her omission of her past, but she'd clearly brought up some not so pleasant memories with her selfish action. Thankfully, the momentum of the fight had fizzled somewhat, and Kyng took off with the promise to meet the group in Alabasta to finish their business there. While this was far from a favorable outcome, she knew Asche wouldn't listen to her, especially now.
Standing up, she stared out into the mist with Kyng had disappeared to, nodding when Asche addressed her, but unable to meet his gaze. Truthfully, she found it hard to look at any of them now. Even with Marshall's painful pep talk, it was still an awkward situation she'd found herself in. Despite the crew - or at least Ocean Dog's desire to keep her around - she didn't know how the others felt. Asche still talked to her and ordered her around like she was part of the crew, but how would EZ feel? Nefertari? With her wing's wrapped around her, Roselle made her way over to the wheel of the ship, shuffling around in a box containing their maps until she found one that showed the route to Alabasta. Silently, she held it out to the resident sniper, her head still tilted down in shame. Since she'd been tasked with plotting the course, she'd assist EZ however she could, not knowing what to do or say now that things had settled down.
