Fɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ Tʏᴘᴇ(s): His style focuses on utilizing polearms and being aggressive, fast-paced and effective against single opponents, characterized by acrobatics, such as somersaults and leaping strikes, both for attack and defense, with Leyrid unleashing fast, powerful strikes from multiple directions; he is capable of using his speed and strength for flawless precision and to inflict lethal attacks without much effort, and he prefers to wield his polearms with his left hand, leaving the other hand free though it usually remains hanging to use for punches. What should be noted is that Leyrid is ambidextrous, meaning that he can effectively utilize either of his hands which are gripping his spear predominantly and still retain a similar level of strength and ability. However, he can also shift the strength of each swinging arm, in order to throw off an opponent's initial deductions; as mindgames are a prominent part of his fighting style. He is capable of utilizing his incredible swiftness for flawless precision and to inflict lethal attacks without much effort; just one twirl of his spear is more than powerful enough to effortlessly slice an opponent, even if they are far away.

Sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ Aʙɪʟɪᴛʏ: Flame Control: Thanks to the use of Prism Blaze, Leyrid is able to control other flames, giving Leyird an advantage over other Fire Magic users. However, if the opponent has complete mastery over their fire, then Leyrid's pyrokinesis would not work against the opponent's flame.

◎◎ Main Magic: Greyout ◎◎

◎ A peculiar magic that allows the user to forcibly take color from a target, rendering them colorless for an allotted amount of time. Despite how harmless this may sound, one would be wise to not allow a practitioner of this magic to steal any color at all for doing so will most definitely give the caster an advantage. The extinct ability to absorb and steal color is Greyout’s greatest strength, it allows the user to absorb various colors, through the user melding their fingers into the target, from a numerous of sources such as plants, rock, buildings, rivers, sentient beings, and from the spells of other mages as they attack the user. It allows the wizard to store the color inside their magical "container" inside their body and once a color has been stolen an array of inhibiting effects happen to the target. Once a user steals something’s color, the user steal it aspects as well, giving them access to those very aspects. The uses of these aspects can include releasing them as an attack, applying them to the user themself, or reapplying them into another target. As stated before, when a color is stolen debilitating effects are placed onto the colorless target, if the user steals color from a fire it will become tame and lose all heat, if the target steals from water it will become gel like, if the target steals from a rock it will become malleable and fragile, if the target steals from a person they will lose their strength and become extremely sluggish. However the user cannot steal colorless colors such as black or grey since they have no aspect to them to steal. Once the stolen color has been used, it shall return to its original owner within 3 posts. Another fatal weakness of this magic is that the user cannot steal multiple different colors, though they can steal multiple colors of the same spectrum.

ADVANCED SPELLS
» Iridescence: A spell said to break Greyout's limits, Iridescence allows the user to steal multiple colors whether or not they're on the same spectrum. This greatly increases the range of abilities he can use through stealing colors. Not only is the user now able to use multiple colors, but they can use multiple colors at the same time. This allows the user to overwhelm their target by using various attacks at the same time or apply multiple different aspects to one self. However there is a time limit to this spell; within five posts all the colors the user stole will return to their original owners, not only this but the user will momentarily lose their color as well, thus losing all of their strength and becoming incredibly sluggish.

◎◎ Sub Magic: Prism Blaze ◎◎

◎ An incredibly potent form of Caster Magic that's been created many centuries ago; it's said to be one of the earliest forms of magic used to communicate with the Gods up-high, hoping to call upon their divine presence. It's later been demoted to a weapon for multiple purposes, most of which is geared towards causing as much destruction as possible. As the name implies, it's a form of Fire Magic — deriving from Rainbow Fire, which has been noted to be a more "tame" variant of this magic; this would evidentially classify it as a form of Subspecies Magic. As knowledge of this magic has limited, so are the practitioners, having few in number in the modern era. On various occasions, this magic is noted for its beauty due to the dazzling properties it possesses, thus earned the moniker of "Naturally Aesthetic Blaze"; this made it extremely popular with certain mages, especially those dealing with beauty. The flames which are brought about by the power of Prism Blaze can be categorized under the same general concept as it is a "alteration of elemental properties." Once the flames formed through this magic have been modified into that of other fires, they become tinted in the color corresponding to the fire in question. In any case, once a flame has been modified into a different flame, the caster can utilize powers associated with the meaning and symbolism of these different colored flames in whatever way that they find necessary.

◎◎ Sub Magic: Polearm Magic ◎◎

BASIC SPELLS
» Magic Polearm Magic Polearm: Considered the most basic application of Polearm Magic, the user utilizes their own hand(s) as the physical catalyst in which their magic can manifest outward, pouring along the palms of their hands by producing a large mass of magical aura to form around it, inevitably taking on the form of a large broadspear. Often functioning as a temporary substitute for an actual spear should the user be disarmed or as a means to hold oneself back from using an actual polearm, the longspear serves the same basic functions as a physical weapon, although not held back by the inconvenience of weight or space. Completely composed of magic, the spear they produce gives them a greater sense of freedom to customize the shape and size that the spear can take by simply reworking the amount of magic being poured inside, capable of feats such as growing in size, extending, or growing more sharply so as to facilitate cutting through stronger objects. However, its greatest strength is found in the ability to serve as the perfect template in which one can use Polearm Magic, enabling them to cast a wide variety of spells so as to expand their fighting prowess. The number of spell-based attacks they can use is far and wide, serving as a well-versed tool compatible with nearly all Polearm Magic spells the user can cast, be it in the unarmed or armed styles of attack. Additionally, since the spearhead is made of highly compressed magic energy, it serves as an excellent tools against other magic-based attacks when it comes to offense and defense; given the process in which the spearhead is constructed and quality of the technique, the user can use the spear’s entire body as a means to block or deflect other magic-based attacks by simply coming into contact with it, exerting a combination of both physical and magical strength in order to hold their own. When taken up a notch, some wizards are even capable of producing more than a single spear, creating a spear for each hand or multiple spearheads that hover around them. A unique advantage that is found with a using a technique of this specific nature is the fact that the spear itself can't be destroyed through conventional means, primarily for two reasons. The first being that the spear's durability is designed to reflect the caster's magic energy and overall skill with Polearm Magic, with gifted practitioners being able to produce a virtually devastating spear boasting in untold defense and offense that the caster produces. The other reason is mainly due to the spear being made of magic, and should the spearhead break, it will simply reform in a matter of seconds, requiring little effort on part of the user to repair it.

» Eight Paths of Orochi Taking on an extremely low stance that nearly has him touch the ground, Leyrid swings his spear to his back while grabbing unto the hand in the opposite direction. With the stance taken, he charges up his magic, producing an aura in the visage of a large eight-headed serpent directly behind him. With this spell, Leyrid unleashes a barrage of spear spear thrusts that attack from eight different positions, each slashing, stabbing, and ramming into the opponent at speeds that create a haze of dangling arms. The magic used creates large blasts that are several degrees;larger than his own body, as if an actual giants snake were biting into the target, focusing more on the power aspect of the swings rather than cutting. It proceeds to give Leyrid the means to beating back his opponent with severe pummels and assaults that come from multiple angles at once rather than from one area that they can block, effectively generating an attack that attacks happen on eight sides simultaneously. Because Of this instances, the technique cannot be fully blocked when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, simply coming from both the left and right and different heights and positions that he can adjust accrofidnly, never repeating the same sequence of movements twice in a row, making it difficult to read.

» Grudge Reaping Expanding the level of influence his magic has on his spear, Leyrid overfloods his main weapons with cast quantities of Spear Magic, all the way to the point of shaping the air into the form of a curved scythe, with the blade shifting along the very point of of the weapon’s head. The spell does nothing to increase his cutting power or defense, but rather the sheer level of physical power it has to create large-scale destruction whenever he swings it. In this form, the ethereal blade becomes so elongated, it nearly topples even his own greatspear in size, giving him sufficient range to attack at a distance. But the greatest change is found in the way he attacks or firies spells from his now altered spear, becoming much more grittier and random int the way it moves, with his spear Rays curving by the side like the scythe, and force they pack being more violent in the way he hit things, destroying them rather than cutting. It renders his usual demeanor sloppy in terms of the spear thrusts he can produce, but is rewarded with a significant raise in offensive capabilities, matching blow for blow other drastic spells for dominance. Interestingly, the aura is actually Magical Aura that has been altered to the point of covering his word, and as a result, the moment something or someone touches or spear thrusts against his spear, the area stricken expanding the aura and reshape it into ethereal blade, slicing and stabbing them.

» Piercing Omens
A special thrusting attack only usable by donning the reaper-esque style of Shika Makari, Leyrid shrinks the scythe to match the same length as his spear, shrouding it in a black miasma of magic energy that glows a purple hue. During this process, Leyrid diverts all of the destructive power of the spell into a single focal point along the very point of his spear, resulting in a severe build up of energy that begins to weight him down, crushing the floor. At release, Leyrid charges in and performs a backhand swing of his spear, slamming right on top of his opponent with a horizontal swing, crushing them with the weight of force and aura. Upon impact, the area explodes in a large black glow that envelops it with a violent wave of concentrated Spear Magic, ripping to shreds everything and anything caught in blast range to pieces. From afar, the air currents sharpen to thrust at anybody near the point of impact, with debris such as rocks being treated like bullets due to being infused with his magic.

» Iron Spear An elaborate use of Spear Magic, rather than using his Spear Magic to simply fire energy from his spear, Leyrid instead increases the output inside his spear in order to coat it across the surface of his blade, acting as a type of sheath that significantly increases the thickness and solidity of whatever blade or spear he is currently holding unto. With the added boost coming from a highly dense layer of magic, Leyrid's spear takes on a black metallic hue, with purplish aura radiating off it, enabling it to become much more suitable toward striking more durable objects and people, while still retaining a higher quality of durability than what it had previously. Serving as both an offensive and defensive boost, the spells he uses in tandem with this spell also take on a much darker shade in contrast to using them with his spear in its natural form, making them much more heavier in terms of physical power and backing force, increasing the output of spear-related attack more than 3x's their original damage output while also heightening the other aspects of his spearsmanship the moment he handles it. An Example of this being the force that each stroke or attack has being countless times more heavy-oriented, resulting attacks that use the opponent down unto the ground, passing on the shockwave that would injure opponents hand after blocking. As a result, the overall speed he can swing it, degree of force he can exert, and sharpness to cut through certain materials is matched accordingly to how much energy he focuses on the spell. So long as it remains active, the attacks he produces will affect the entirety of his other skills and spells, making them much heavier to stop and deflect while on the move. Additionally, it not only affects his Spear Magic spells that require a spear, but also his unarmed moves as well, broadening their use on a new level.

» Iron Beast Slash A spell he can produce after hardening the energy of his Spear Magic around his spear. With a single swing, he emits a single black slash of incredible dense magic, being incredibly heavy to guard against as it forces the opponent down to the ground due to the force of gravity acting down on it. With the hardening side-effect that comes with the spell, it becomes too stubborn to move or let up on the direction it is going to, Allowing Leyrid to pressure it forward by remaining active far longer than an ordinary beams should. The technique itself can be altered and adjusted to use the rest of Leyrid’s arsenal of spells to fire attacks of similar nature, thanks to the slash being difficult to subdue or break when colliding with another wizard’s spells.

» Iron Demon Pole Named after the mythical weapon used by the Oni due to them being reputedly by their extreme strength, Leyrid through he hardening spell, quickly decreases the ratio between the blunt and sharpness on his spear in favor of forcibly dulling the dges with a thick extra coating of hardening aura, rendering it incapable of slashing opponents. Now fixed on dealing pure blunt damage, it shares more similarities with a metallic club of solid steel than an actual spear. However, with the huge concentration of dense magic along the blade’s body, large dark spikes grown along the length of the blade, as well as growing to be more spherical in nature, heightening the broad slamming press it has even further. So long as it remains in this state, Leyrid’s spear exist in its single-most durable state achievable through Spear Magic, wrapping it with such a massive volume of dense magic aura, that it cushions and absorb the impact of spell he strikes, literally bashing them into submission. With this added trend, the blunt force is by far its most notable aspect, with Leyrid’s powerful swings and crushing feats being pushed to their absolute maximum, blunting every spell he uses in the same manner, with benefit or receiving the same boost.

» Heaven's Reach A powerful spell of Spear Magic created in an attempt to make up for the poor range on weapon based magic, specifically the poor range of Spear Magic. Like most if not all spells of Spear Magic the user begins casting this spell by focusing their magical energy into the blade of their spear, feeding this energy into it from their own origin via the connection they have by holding onto the handle. They will store and build this energy into the spear until it can no longer safely contain more which only takes a few seconds to masters of this particular magic. The user will then point the blade at their target before allowing that energy to change the blade entirely. The blade will shoot forward, stretching for over three hundred feet. The speed in which to blade extends is nearly impossible to follow using the human eye, traveling at around two thousand five hundred feet per second meaning that it has already reached its target long before a full second has passed. However, the speed and length in which the blade can lengthen is not what makes this spell so fearsome, no. This spells true power comes from the speed it which it contracts, taking only half the time to retract as it does to extend, making the blade appears as if to be a lightning strike. Luckily for those forced to face users of this particular spell, the cooldown rate for the spell is three minutes. Meaning that you still have a chance so long as you can dodge the first strike.

» Serial Spear Canon Improving in Heaven's Reach’s original ability to shrink and elongate itself over a period of time, Leyrid speeds up the pace of the spell in order quadruple its casting time and enabling him to use it repeatedly at subsequently smaller intervals. This results in Leyrid using the power extending effect on his spear to the point of repeating the same action over and over again, producing a rapid fire barrage of spear extensions that move at overwhelming speeds that deliver dozens of powerful lunges in such a short amount of time. Given the force concentrated along the very point of his blade, they force generated is enough for Leyrid to send his opponent flying due to the sheer speed it is moving in contrast of its normal run time. And while combined with the addition of many more extension piling on top of them, Leyrid can't wear out his opponent's ability to block it rather quickly, damaging their arms and hands due to the shockwave and repeated pummeling. Given the fact that Leyrid uses a modified pillar that weighs more than it should, and its size dwarfing his own body, the spell is nearly twice as effective, delivering twice the damage through the course of time. Once active, Leyrid can riddle his opponent’s attack, defense, or they themselves with hundreds of holes in a matter of minutes, taking advantage of Heaven's Reach’s already impressive piercing power, combined with his spear’s natural traits, produces a combo attack that will quickly break down and pierce his opponent whole.

» Cutting Babel Effectively an advanced version of the spell to elongate the length of his spear to its absolute maximum length possible with the spell, except it is done so just before actually attacking, allowing his spear to shrink to lowest length then exploding out of place in order to cover over a length of 280 ft. in nearly an instant, elongating itself at the utmost peak of speed. In this brief moment, Leyrid creates a swing that swallows up the entirety of his environment in one fell swoop, with the sheer speed of the swing and concentration of energy that Heaven's Reach provides giving him the possession of a monumental spear capable of slashing dozens, if not, hundreds of opponent in a single motion. The piercing power it would normally have to pierce through the defenses of his opponents is in this instance is being redirected along the edge of his spear during the swing, boosting the cutting power in equal measure, applying his ability to server objects that lay in his path that would interrupt or hold him back.

» Sonic Hunt A well coordinated attack that is used by spearman who are proficient in speed-based combat or are able to swing their spears at tremendous velocities, Sonic Claw is a spell that is typically accessed with wizards who are very fast when moving, taking advantage of this trait to go on the offensive. The user dashes towards the target and spear thrusts them from every direction at high speed, quickly darting around from multiple angles while just as unexpectedly shifting from position-to-position, dealing spear thrusts at all corners simultaneously. When used by traditional spearsmen that lack at any type of enhanced speed, the Sonic Hunt technique boosts the general speed their spear swings can move rather than velocity they can travel on their feet. When used for its intended purpose, it causes the caster to move at supernatural speeds, creating massive bursts of energy to thrust them forward while delivering a volley of spear thrusts that appear as nothing but a shining blur of light, moving at such a rate that they remain undetectable during their barrage. With each swing they take, the attacker winds up creating multiple streaks of light through the air, each reflecting the number of attacks being drawn while aiming it toward their target. During the change in motion between movement and assault, it functions as a perfect move that combines high caliber dashes for quick-timed evasions with the the pace of attacks that the caster can use to overwhelm their foes with, as well as the way they can react to it. If skilled enough, a wizard can accelerate their pace even further, producing greater feats with the technique aside from simple offensive-based moves—with enough effort is imputed, a spearman can leave afterimages behind each of their moves, creating multiple copies of themselves when moving in to seal the kill. As a side defensive skill, Sonic Claw can be used in a stationary position while the user stands in place or in mid-air, applying the move toward waving their spear in a way that deflects incoming fodder. With the initial momentum being pressed on the user's body, the sheer force and knocking power strengthens their usual moves by a large margin, as well as providing them the means of traversing through unnatural landscapes by running on walls, jumping on top of falling debris in the air, or traversing long distances in half the time.

» Sonic Raid By magnifying the rate of speed in which he is traveling, Leyrid can increase the monument speed he is using during the spell’s to an entirely new stage of application—by increasing the average rate of his movements by adding additional steps to his high speed antics, Leyrid can create additional copies of himself in which each can attack at a much greater speed but with the addition of multiple copies fighting under the same conditions as him. Achieved by accumulating speed over time during the use of Sonic Claw and using his magic to fashion himself multiple afterimages that split off from him and into eight copies of himself that, including the original copy, are all constantly flickering afterimages with solid enough weight to deal physical damage from various angles, acting in the exact same manner as clones. Since each version of the copies are him, each of them can the entire roster of abilities he has at their leisure, making a battle against him into an 8 vs. 1 fight. After one of the copies suffered substantial damage, they will disappear. Unfortunately, due to the taxing nature of the technique, Leyrid is extremely limited on the number of time he can repeat the spell in a given fight, sadly being a one trick pony that is strictly limited once fight, having to wait several hours to recover enough energy to reenact the technique again.

» Zero Spear A special series of Spear Magic spells that are cast without the use of an actual spear, Leyrid concentrates the the use of Spear Magic into different regions of his body to cast the magic outward rather than having to rely on the use of an actual blade or spear. This result in multiple technique designed to create pierce-ended attacks designed to pierce or slash at an opponent from all kinds of directions and distances, ignoring the need to draw on his spear or waist time preparing for an attack. Combining martial arts with magic-oriented attacks aimed at creating techniques in the abscess of weapons, the function of the spearless style has Leyrid create technique that are on par with Spear Magic spells that are used with spears, matching them blow for blow in term so force and sharpness. Using a series of physical motions and forms, with the addition of his own magic to form the attacks by applying the traits of different limbs to trigger a certain move, such as a swing from his hand to create a slash, a thrusting motion to pierce, or a downward thrust to cleave.

» Assassin's Hault A technique that reverses the natural effects of Spear Magic, in that it sharpens and charges blades with magic, Leyrid in contrasts uses that same power to instantly coat his hand or specific region on his body with Spear Magic in order reduce the cutting effectiveness of blades and spear by grabbing unto them, decreasing the sharpness to zero. Done by dulling the blade by having Spear Magic damage the sharp edges of whatever he is holding onto, it drastically reduces its capacity to cut others and objects, protecting himself from sharp weapons his opponents may be using against him. For the initial part, its first purpose is always the ability to grab unto sharp objects without hurting himself and immediately disarming its dangerous nature, to the point of only being able to deal blunt damage. When used against specific attacks produced by Spear Magic, spells true nature is awakened. Either with a single or both hands, Leyrid can stop slashing techniques or beams emitted by spears or blades with his bare hands by creating a counter force that dulls their cutting prowess, creating protective layer along the surface that prevents him from being cut. This typically takes on the appearance of Leyrid catching a spear with both hands, hence the “catch” aspect of the technique”, and the “dead spear” part being the diffusion of the attack’s offensive power.

» Assassin Reversal Taking it a step further by applying the use of martial arts in terms of grapples and reversals, Leyrid, still using his previous technique, grabs unto a currently active sword spell and reverse the move by forcibly pushing against it, knocking it back through sheer force back to the sender. While in his hands, Leyrid redirects the flow of magic in order to course through his hands, creating a new escape for the energy used, hence diverting its direction to a new target. However, the move only works with energy that escapes from the spear in the form of projectiles, requiring Leyrid to reorganize his stance when handling actual spears in person. When this becomes the case, his speed and reflexes enables him to quickly push and direct the position of the swing with with numerous hand motions, throwing them off their mark. The number of spear thrusts he can manage to parry range in the dozen, allowing him to block multi-slashed based attacks such as Pentagram Slash, a six-pronged attack with relative ease.

» Storm Leg By channeling Spear Magic along his legs, Leyrid can enhance their cutting power by giving them a tremendous degree of sharpness akin to a highly refined spear, causing the them to glow its signature blue hue as aura hangs on them. While in this state, Leyrid can clash and block and fend off spears and other similar weapons without the need of using armor, and the nature of his kicks changes in equal measure, now cutting up anything they touch upon impact. With a swing, he spear thrusts things to pieces, by stepping unto others of thrusting his leg forward, Leyrid can stab and peirce things with ease. However, its main use is found in the flying magical spear thrusts he can produce by swinging his legs in mid-air, firing numerous projectiles outward for long-range combat while still retaining their defensive ability. Interestingly, the nature of the move changes depending on the type of kick he uses. In terms of fighting stances, Leyrid adopts the same stance used in Muay Thai, training his right leg in the air while keeping himself positioned in place with a his spare, meaning his leg in battle-ready position, taking full advantage of the the style that centers itself on kicks.

» Piercing Knee When delivering kicks at close-range, Leyrid will set himself unto the ground and kick off it with both legs, using his right leg to lead in for an attack. However, the attack he uses has him bend his leg and going into kneeing his opponent in the chest with great great force. Unfortunately, with the effects of Spear Magic still in place, Leyrid shifts his magical aura into the shape of an elongated blade standing over the top of said knee, effectively skewering his opponent through the chest. Given the speed and pounce he performs before the attacks, Leyrid can build enough initial force to completely insert the blade cleanly through, all the while sharpening the blade in order to give it just enough force to take out any sense of resistance he may find. When simply fighting in close-range, the blade can simply be used to slash at his opponent by flipping around them during dodges by maneuvering near their blind spots. In terms of defense, they can help shield him from attacks by blocking with his legs, using the spikes to hold back an attack.

» Dire Straights A powerful polearm magic spell, this technique is the main form of offense that Leyrid utilizes with his fist. Leyrid starts the technique by holding his spear backwards, the spearhead facing behind Leyrid rather than in front of him as he charges magic energy into the rear end of his chosen polearm, having it swell up and ready for use. With his right hand he holds the shaft of the polearm near the spearhead while making a bridge, or a cradle with his left hand for the polearm’s butt to rest on. For the open bridge, a bridge is formed by Leyrid spreading his fingers apart. He then slides the polearm’s butt between his index and middle finger knuckles or in the "V" that is formed between his thumb and index finger. The polearm’s butt is supported by the "V" between the index finger and thumb. Once Leyrid is within range and has chosen the point of the target he wishes to hit, he will thrust the spear’s butt forward as fast as he possibly can, utilizing his strength and the spear’s momentum as he slams the pole’s rear right into a precisely chosen part of the target. As the spear makes cotnact, the magic energy releases its power directly through Leyrid’s polearm and right into whomever/whatever he is striking with said thrust This is capable of causing a tremendous amount of damage to the opponent, and due to all the damage being released in once concentrated area, for weaker opponents it is strong enough to break through armor or even explode right through them, heavily injuring the attacked. However, this focused nature of the technique is also something of a double-edged s w ord, as while it focuses entirely on precision, it ends up lacking in the ability to deal a great amount of damage in a large area of attack. It does make up for it though, in terms of focused power alone, as the attack is capable of breaking through armor, especially if there happens to be a weak point in some part of it, with the power of the attack capable of breaking through it and therefore dealing an incredible amount of damage to the armor as a whole. In addition, the focused nature allows the technique to deliver its damage deeper by having it permeate deeper into the target, dealing an overall greater amount of damage and causing more pain than an ordinary punch might. The technique is named after the spit, a vital part of rotisserie cooking, and is usually used to impale meat or other ingredients and hang them up in order to be turned around and roasted. Leyrid seems to regard his technique in a similar way, as he focuses all his attack power in a single strike in order to deal a great amount of damage to the opponent in a single, incredibly devestating line (though the previously mentioned strengths and weaknesses apply when the technique lands, as one would expect). This attack is often considered Leyrid's signature technique.

ADVANCED SPELLS

» Rebirth the Spear Said to be the penultimate of one's experience as a polearmsman, it can be described as something as ethereal and phantasmal, while fearsome in both power and name. It's a technique that's only mastered by those who truly bonded with their spear to an extreme, completely becoming one with it in any given situation. It's a technique is versatile in nature and extremely fast that most don't have time to react, making it a potent surprise attack technique. Leyrid first focuses magic power into their polearm(s). Then, by imagining the radius of the area he wants to cover, they slams down the polearm(s), forming a spell circle that encompasses said radius. Once that's done, Leyrid activates the spell, causing numerous amount of copies of said polearm(s) to violently burst from the ground, easily wiping out all within its range, making it indiscriminately to both allies and enemies alike. Each polearm is said to carry half the power of the original, though powerful nonetheless.

There have been few who've mastered this technique to such an extreme, thus there are none before and after them that can use it on the same scale has they currently can, or so it's believed. This technique can be used in a plethora of ways, going from mid-air combat to integrating it into their spearsmanship in order to give them the upper hand. They can also created many variations of this technique. One being that while in mid-air, by creating an arc, they can transform that single strike into a cascading wave of polearm that shimmer into reality, launched at great speeds decimating all of its foes that are caught in the crossfire. It can also be used as an omnidirectional defense mechanism, creating a makeshift shield of polearm that has enough power to easily disarm any foe that dares to stand up against it. A third variation seen is that they can cause the polearm to easily multiply & increasingly oscillate every time they're destroyed at an astonishing rate, creating a distortion effect and can cause several forms of phenomena to happen, some not explainable by normal means. The possibilities of this technique are endless when wielded in the hands of a master. The current radius of this technique, while using minimum amount of magic power nonetheless, is five miles in total.

When using all of their magical power, the radius becomes one hundred miles in distance, being twenty times the size of the minimum, with its power being increased a thousand times over, potentially making this particular spell one of the most powerful within their arsenal, though this is rarely used as it can obviously exhaust Leyrid and render them unconscious. It's been stated by past users that the technique is much easier to utilize than originally perceived as it's only limited by one's imagination, saying that the name is most appropriate for this technique. Thus, this is to be, without a doubt, a preferred technique that many polearmsmen would utilize during combat, having enough power to take out a plethora of foes at any given moment and could be used to their liking in any given situation.

» Cloud Cutting Weasel A powerful Polearm spell that requires much upper body strength and coordination. Leyrid proceeds to spin the shaft of the weapon around their body several times, causing the surrounding air currents to surrender to Leyrid's whims. He is then capable of utilizing the tip of his spear to whip the air currents around in a spiral motion, creating a miniature vacuum that sucks in anyone in close proximity, to Leyrid when he starts the technique. By forcing the wind currents outward with a strong swing of his weapon, Leyrid is able to create a large scale attack, causing the opponent to get attacked by the wind pressure alone if they should dodge the initial attack.
