Georgette knew it was time to start getting more serious about his future. He grabbed the first book in the set and cracked it open. There was so much for him to learn. He needed to let go of his childhood and leap into his future. Helping others become and stay healthy was the ultimate goal for him and that meant the toys and games needed to be put away. His dad might want him to stay a child, but it was no longer enough for him.
The truth was, Georgette was no longer a freshling, and didn’t want to be treated like one. He’d already shoved most of the toys and other kid things into the attic. His mother understood what he was doing, that’s why she’d been listening more and more to what he asked for. The books on anatomy, a stethoscope and a beautiful leather doctor’s bag, the kind you take with you on house calls. Being a doctor was his dream come true, and he’d put all his effort into achieving that goal.
