"The Wings of Icarus" (V2) (CWF edit) which would be a heroic, angelic-melodic like theme song would blast over the PA system with Matt Gennison looking to kick off Friday Night Throwdown tonight with a promo he was looking to address things, with what happened at the Greatest Survivor Series and a certain someone having something to say about him on Monday Night War. Coming out and the audience would ignite in excitement, singing along to the instrumental to show creative and management just how over Matt Gennison was. He would come from gorilla position with his signature entrance jacket on and have the CWF Championship around his waist signifying that he was proud to hold one of the most prestige championships in all of wrestling today, with many greats of the past holding it such as Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, The Undertaker, Triple H and a few others. He would walk out while also having the TNW:R Championship over his right shoulder and the TNW:R Universal Championship over his left shoulder. The TNW:R Championship only held by Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Ryback. The TNW:R Universal Championship only held by Aleks Mason in it's 2+ year activeness. And now held by Matt Gennison. The audience would sing Matt's theme song from the curtain to when he got to the ring and he felt pretty good about himself. He would continue to make his way to the ring. "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, PLEASE WELCOME THE CWF CHAMPION.. MAAAAATT... GENNISON! The ring announcer would exclaim.. as Matt would make his way to the ring with the many of his supporters clapping and behind him, since he was now an established wrestler compared to when he first made it in. Matt Gennison would then approach the ring and walk up the propped up steel steps that were up against the ring pole, in which he would then walk up the steps and duck his head under the top rope to come into the ring. He would then raise up his two championships as the audience would go crazy! He would approach the turnbuckle on the far end and climb the second rope, to raise his two championships! he would then jump down and his theme song would slowly begin to fade away and he would grab a microphone.
"Oh man, it feels good to be here tonight, standing here as YOUR CWF Champion, TNW:R Champion, and TNW:R Universal Champion!" The audience would applaud Matt, for his five star performance at WrestleMania, defeating Aleks Mason for the second time. "And after TNW:R had went on a hiatus, after I was suppose to take on Daniel Bryan after he announced he was cleared for competition, we ended up doing it at no better place than CWF's Greatest Survivor Series Pay-Per-View event!" The fans would cheer loudly for how well the matches and PPV was put together all and all. "But there's one man that had a problem with it all. One man in particular, and that's Roman... Reigns. You see, Roman isn't the "Big Dog" he claims to be. He's a failure. He failed in TNW:R. He won the TNW:R Championship and lost it within the blink of an eye. He's only made a name for himself beating up Big Show and The Miz, two guys who are GONE from the business, by the way. He came BACK to CWF three months ago to win The Royal Rumble Match and he failed! let's face it, Roman. You ride the coattails of Dean Ambrose, and you're Seth Rollins's b***h. You want a title match so badly? I'll put all three on the line, since you're so title thirsty. I don't have any other plans. And come Taboo Tuesday... I'm gonna make you.. my b***h." The crowd would continue to cheer from the strong words of Matt Gennison, however, he would continue to go on. "Let's look at the truth here, Roman. You're a failure. One Championship, congratulations. Me? Mr. Money in the Bank.. Paramount Champion... and three world titles under my resume. The only BIG DOG in this company, is me! and at Taboo Tuesday, you'll be stepping INTO MY YARD, REIGNS. SO BRING THE BIG FIGHT, AND I'LL MAKE IT RAIN AND THUNDER ON THAT a**!!" As Matt would say, with high intensity in his voice. The audience would clap and appreciate his words, looking forward to him silencing the self proclaimed Big Dog at the upcoming Pay-Per-View event. "Which brings me to tonight. Tonight, I'll be taking on the Olympic Gold-Medalist, Kurt Angle. Someone I've respected for years on in, even a motivation for me to even fight for my dreams of becoming a pro wrestler. But make no mistake about it. Kurt Angle, he's beaten everyone in his path. But the only reason why he hasn't lost, is because he hasn't been hit with a Rainmaker yet..." The crowd would ooo in interest, as their interest would be piqued, sending shivers! "I've out wrestled Kevin Owens.. I've out wrestled Abyss. I've out wrestled Aleks Mason. I've out-wrestled Roman Reigns. And tonight, I'm gonna out-wrestle the wrestling machine." Matt would drop the mic as the crowd would cheer in favor of Matt's strong words of promo, with his theme song playing out and he walks out of the ring and towards the back with his two titles, getting ready for the main event later tonight.
