Personality: A true idealist,
Soren is always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better.
While he may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy.

History:
Soren was born in New York, or at least, that's what he assumes.
The day he was born, he had been adopted by two human parents.
They cared for him very much had had faith he would do great things.

After he completed School, he went on to become a cook and serve at a Restaurant.
Things went well for him at first, but a terrible fire had erupted and he was out of a job.

Sleepless nights passed, but it seemed impossible for him to find another.
He feared he would lose his apartment and everything he had built for himself.
On a rainy night, he had gone up to the roof the the apartment complex to clear his mind, but he slipped.

The danger of plummeting to his death had sparked something in him.
He had feathered wings that broke his fall, and allowed him to fly!
It was a strange sight for some of the other citizens,
but for Soren it was like a dream.

That night, the police had come to check on the building.
His parents encouraged him to stay hidden, but the wings hid themselves.
It was a scary moment, and his parents told Soren everything.
They knew he was half-angel, but the other half was a mystery, even to his parents.

After all that happened, they encouraged him to figure out who he truly was.
they gave him a map of several areas in the ocean and depicted places such as the elusive Blue City that humans hadn't heard about.

With that, Soren began his journey.
His goals are to figure out who his birth parents are and to strengthen his power in light magic.

Weaknesses:
If something goes wrong, he tends to blame himself.
He dislikes criticism and can be stubborn at times.
Because he remembers things generally well,
he tends to hold grudges and has trouble finding closure.

Strengths:
Soren is very loyal and caring towards those he trusts.
He also enjoys to listen to people rather than talk while getting to know them.
Soren pays attention to detail as well, remembering most things others wouldn't.
He is also pretty good at cooking and playing instruments.
His main power as a half-angel is the power to heal wounds and manipulate light magic.

Personality:
Rigel is a gentleman. He trusts most people (even to his own detriment), but his cunning, determined and showman-like personality grants him with the skills he needs to to be a loyal guard to his queen and become an excellent pirate. As a pirate, he is of good alignment. Sort of like a Robin Hood of the sea, he only plunders from the rich and gives the stolen riches to the less fortunate.

History:
Not much is really known about Rigel. He was found in the ruins of a castle of some kingdom very far away from Kyrandia. A human priestess healed his wounds and took him in - raising him into the man he is today. Since he was 16, he has been a loyal guard to the Fae Queen - but he had lived a double life as a pirate.

Somewhere down the line, the Fae Kingdom was attacked, and Rigel managed to get the Queen to safety at the cost of revealing his secret to her. They boarded his ship and they sailed away from her kingdom. However, a storm landed them off-course and they shipwrecked on Kyrandia.

Weakness: Most of Rigel's magical power is controlled by a red, ruby amulet. If it breaks, he loses control.

Strengths: Rigel is an expert in survival. He can cook pretty well, and has martial arts at his disposal. He also has control over various forms of magic (mostly fire magic) that he keeps under control using his amulet.
