The boys seemed very nice and she appreciated them not judging her like many others in the room were. She jotted down a few notes about assessment she hadn't the chance to at the start and fumbled with her scarf around her neck. Her glittery fingernails trailed along the soft fabric, the warmth giving her a sense of comfort so far away from home.
She realised the time and wondered how her other classes would go. She had psychology next and wondered if she would have any friends in that class or not. It was a strange thing for her, but understanding mental illness was something important to her. It was why her third minor was councelling. She wanted to make a change inside and outside of an ER. Many people underestimated just how important understanding the signs of mental health was, let alone being able to treat it. She'd overcome her own depression through counselling, and she was stronger because of it. She wanted to give that strength to other people; young and old, boy and girl. To save anyone around her for all reasons was her life's mission and she wasn't about to fail now.

Noah knew that time was running short and that there was now only five minutes left until the next class. People were beginning to pack up notebooks and chat about conversations from Facebook and Instagram posts. He wished they'd have waited a few minutes, but he knew he had no reason to rush. All of his classes were in the same hall, and he merely had to use the elevator to go up to floor 7 to join his Health class. It wasn't a huge rush for him, but he did begin packing his bag. He wondered if he should ask for Cherry's email or contact information if she wanted someone to talk to, but maybe they shared more classes without him knowing? He'd have to ask her to know, but he didn't think it was so likely.
He sat back and listened to Miss Joanne go on about the next lesson and the topics they'd be going over. It would be a week before they started discussing the assessment that was due, but it wasn't needed to be completed until a month away. He'd still start on it early and try and get it done as soon as possible rather than wait until the last minute like many in the class no doubt would.
Jace packed up his things once class was over. He wrote down their next lesson in his planner so that he would remember to review and take notes on it before their next class so he would just have to worry about clarifying things he didn't understand and so that he wouldn't be clueless. He didn't feel like the smartest person but he tried hard to do well in his classes. He got up once he put it in his backpack and figured he should go thank Noah but he was nervous about approaching someone. He took a deep breath and walked over to Noah when people started to leave. He smiled awkwwardly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Um...I just wanted to thank you for what you did today in class. I...uh...really appreciated it and you pointed out something i had never thought about myself" he said.

Already having his belongings together, he smiled as Jace approached him. "People are judgmental and it's unfair. No power is truly evil or truly perfect, it's how we choose to use them. I've encountered a lot of people in my life with "bad" powers and they do great things with them. There's a cop I know who can summon hell demons and he uses them to track down suspects," he admitted with a light grin. He was glad that Jace felt comfortable enough and didn't seem stressed like before when the introductions began. It was what he was trying to do; make the world a better place for those suffering.
The bell rang for classes ending and he knew he needed to make his way to his next class. Health was on the upper floors of the same building, with classes like psychology on the 6th floor. In the corner of his eye, he saw Cherry leaving for the elevators, having missed the chance to talk to her. He knew he could communicate with her tomorrow if he needed to.
Jace listened and was interested in his friend. "Wow I would have never thought to do that" he said glad that he helped to make him feel better and more comfortable in this class especially since he didn't have Kolya. They parted ways and he made his way to his Martial arts class.

Bethany walked into the classroom, piping hot cup of Starbucks coffee in hand, quickly sitting in one of the vacant seats. She smiled at the teacher, Dr Jaime Bourbon, and waited to see who would show up next. How many students would be late? She wondered if the white-haired boy with glasses that was in Forensic Science would come to class. He seemed very disturbed through the class. She glanced into the hallway but kept to herself, not wanting to seem nosy.

Noah made his way into the classroom and took a seat at the same long table as a red haired girl with glasses. Most students had gotten to the room so it was the only space. He took a seat and smiled warmly to her. As most students took out laptops, he had his laptop and a notebook, with careful penmanship across the page, almost as if the pages had been typed and printed. He wondered who else would show up. Would he see Cherry and Jace again, or would they drop out? He was curious to know who would remain to form a study group with.

Stanley sat down beside Noah and got out his belongings to get ready for the class. He waited patiently and watched students walk in and quickly put away vape pens in the hall. He ran his hand through his hair and leaned back in his chair, watching the menagerie of students flock into their seats chaotically. It was entertaining watching some of the girls, those "mean girls" in high school, demand other students move from "their seats" and nothing happened. Dr Bourbon told them to take a vacant seat or leave, and he grinned as they huffed out of the room entierly.
Jace rushed to get to class on time. He made just before the last bell and rushed to the sit at the long table with Noah and the others. He sat down with a soft huff and pulled out his things from his backpack offering everyone a soft smile in greeting since class was about to begin.

Nico plopped themselves down in a chair next to a white-haired boy with glasses and gave a brief wave as the bell sounded. Thank god I made it on time. They got out their laptop and notebook and hoped that they didn't just barge in or take someone's seat. Dr Bourbon started taking attendance, glancing over to the students and asking names for any students she didn't remember. Nico was a face she was familiar with, as she just had them in Public Health. They hoped the lesson would be full of new information and not just a recap, or some boring introductory material, but they knew that the first few weeks would be information they likely knew already or was common knowledge for those interested in the medical field. A lot of students would stick it out through the easy material until the fundamental knowledge started, then they would drop like flies.

Stanley smiled as Jace took a seat and something pulled at the back of his mind, like a string that tugged his attention to Jace. Not something alarming, but a foreboding warning of something to come. He didn't want to pry, he only spoke to Jace in the last major yesterday, so he didn't feel too familiar for personal conversation yet. If the tugging got worse, he might say something, but until then he was content to wait and see how things played out. Jace didn't seem like a dangerous person, but Stanley didn't know what powers he had, so any assumptions could be disastrous. He turned his attention to Dr Bourbon and got ready to take notes, pen clicking softly.
