Meet the Whimsicats. Imaginary balls of fluff and fur, born of clouds and laughter. Whimsicats: 3 stages A cloud with a blanket on top, a small paw poking out
A fluffy kitten, still on a cloud
A cat whose fur makes one think of clouds~Angelic Whimsicats: Fluffier, with feathery wings.
Demonic Whimsicats: Sleeker, with bat wings Familiars & Items Pigtions: Tiny piggies!
Imaginarys: Tiny birdies! (think canaries)
Figments: Fig fruit lol, will be in different colors for different purposes (stop growth, start growth, change colors, breeding additives, etc)

Hello! And welcome to the Interest Thread for a little shop called Whimsicats~
These adorable little felines are imaginary balls of fluff and fur, born of dreams, laughter, and just a hint of wishing.

Now some of these cats look a little...well, they look a little evil.
That's because storm clouds and evil laughter breed evil cats c:<
Now the cats aren't all alone in their home world. They've got two types of friends (so far!)

The world they live in is called Whimsy (? maybe idk)
There are three types of Whimsicats. A group of Purri are called a Clouder.
The main type, Purrus (plural: Purri), are the most populous. No wings, just fluffiness. They bring their owner (maker/creator?) regular, every day dreams. They live on the anchor shaped island of Purrth
Clawestial Purrus are the angelic, fluffier types. They are more likely to bring their owner (maker/creator?) good dreams. They live on the star shaped island of Purrvana
Hissterik Purrus are the demonic, sleeker types. They are more likely to bring their owner (maker/creator?) bad dreams. The live on the (vaguely) dragon shaped island of Purrgatory.
The cats have three stages of life.
Kloud: Baby stage! Lasts about a week. You might be able to hear some kitten noises and see the tail flicking about, but other than that they don't do much.
Kittenpuff: Teen(ish) stage. Lasts about three weeks. They're starting to learn how to speak Hooman but still sound like cats.
Adult: Adult stage! Fully grown, this stage lasts forever. They can speak Hooman (which equates to whatever language their owner/maker/creator speaks) and the Common tongue of the residents of Whimsy.
There's an orchard of fruits. Well, I say fruits but they're all the same. We call them Figments! They're just different colors 8'D
Different colors do different things but we haven't quite figured out what they do yet.

Once upon a time, a long long time ago, there lived a goddess of dreams. A goddess named Breksta. She adored walking through the dreams of humans, but so many seemed lonely. Their loneliness sparked a longing for companionship in Breksta, and with her magic she created three companions out of her own dreams, the clouds she resided in, and a whispered wish.
The first, her original experiment, was named Starspeaker and Breksta loved him so much that she gave him twin siblings: Sunrider and Moonfighter. All three were different in appearance, though all were feline in nature.
Starspeaker stood a little taller than his younger siblings and had the fur of an orange tabby cat. Atop his head was white hair, but his bangs were pink and blue striped and his eyes were green.
Though the youngest were twins they didn't look very much alike at all. Sunrider's fur was white, and his short hair was a light brown in color. His eyes were a honey gold in hue. Beneath his shirt were kept a pair of wings, angelic in nature, with feathers of the purest white. Moonfighter on the other hand had dark striped fur and long black hair. Her eyes glowed red. Beneath her shirt were wings that were more batlike, the limbs and membranes black as night.
For a long time the four of them were very happy. But as with most siblings, they began to fight. It started with the twins bickering constantly over who was the elder of the two. (Breksta insisted they were both the exact same age, every time.) Over time, Starspeaker became frustrated with Sunrider and Moonfighter.
To help keep the peace, Breksta created a home for them beside her own and together they named it Whimsy. Breksta gave them each an island to live on and care for. Starspeaker took the anchor shaped island and named it Purrth. Sunrider took the star shaped island and named it Purrvana. Though Moonfighter was the last to choose, she liked her vaguely dragon shaped island and declared it to be Purrgatory.
While everyone enjoyed the peace and quiet, loneliness once again became a problem. They tried having a monthly visit, but the twins kept bickering over little stuff. There was one thing they all agreed on, though: they needed more. The siblings went to Breksta to explain their issue. The goddess was hesitant at first to create more of them, but she understood their loneliness. Instead of mass creating more Purri like her beloved trio, she made it so the humans whose dreams she monitored could create them themselves just as she did.
Through dreams, a little cloud, and a wish.
