Reincarnation, definitely. I'd like to believe that those who bully small kids and hurt people as adults will have to come back again and again until they stop being jerks. smile

Ature Manti I believe in Heaven and Hell, you do something bad enough, you will be punished for all eternity. I believe in Heaven and hell but I also believe that you are given many chances to go to heaven. I don't believe that just doing a couple of bad things deserves being tortured for eternity. I'd rather it be like prison. You go and are tortured and after you've paid back what you did you can leave. but since I'm not dead i can't really be sure.

I believe in Heaven and hell but I also believe that you are given many chances to go to heaven. I don't believe that just doing a couple of bad things deserves being tortured for eternity. I'd rather it be like prison. You go and are tortured and after you've paid back what you did you can leave. but since I'm not dead i can't really be sure. What about murder? Thats a "bad thing" isn't it? They are not welcome in the lords house, even when they ask for absolution.

According to the cristian doctrine if they really are sorry for what they did they are forgiven. Also that's one thing how do you define good and bad if reality is based pn perspective. You think soemthing is good but others will think it is bad. Therefore you cannot define things as "good" or "bad".

Even if it is a matter of perspective, many people think along the same lines for good and bad. That's why law's are the way they are and governments are all corrupt because they believe that stealing is "good".

I believe (believe seems like such a lame word here but i'll go with it) that we are all "reincarnated" and have "ever-lasting-life".
Not in a same bod or spirit kinda thing tho.
I learned in a physics class that every breath we take we exhale out some of ourselves, just a few of our own tiny cells. Those cells add up over a lifetime tho and all of those cells are floatin around the world cuz, one of the most basic rules of physics is that atoms don't die, they just change - reincarnation if you will, or regeneration.
When we're dead n buried/cremated/whatever, the same thing happens, our cells regenerate. Thus every breath we take, we breathe in atoms of our loved ones, departed and present, as well as strangers from across the globe.
The life force that is often interpreted as a spirit or soul, I believe (and here the word believe is appropriate cuz science can't address this yet) regenerates in the same way. Didjya ever walk into a house or a neighborhood and feel some potent energy? Perhaps thats bits and pieces of life forces of those who preceded us, all concentrated there for some reason.
So there ya have it! interesting topic

I believe in reincarnation.
How come there are people who are geniuses, that school is easy for them?
how come there are people who are good looking, smart and talented?
And have you ever thought that God is unfair??
That's when reincarnation/pastlives comes in. I believe if you did good in your past life, you get good karma in your next life.
I believe in that because God would be unfair if God made everyone unequal. I think karma is already a law of nature... If you did something bad, something bad will also return to you right??
For me, Heaven, hell and purgatory is too simple. It's gotta be more complex than that! God is not like that, in school, you study biology. See how wonderful God is! All the DNA's, plants... all the processes of nature are NOT simple, it's very complex and complicated. I believe afterlife has many divisions.
Lets say for example this man killed someone yet he did many good deeds in his life. Now where will you place him?
