      Cecil seems to be a happy-go-lucky young man with eyes that defy a profound intelligence. Below his joyful exterior, a trench of darkness stretches through his brain, and at the bottom lives Lilet. Cecil doesn't talk very much about his experience with mass slaughter, but when he does, he talks about it as if it's no big deal to him. He never mentions sister, and the mention of Amelia Arcand drives the normally calm and energetic man into a fit of intense rage and makes him prone to violence.


    •History:
      Long ago, before the Shinigami founded his famed academy, and even before Asura started down the path to become the first Kishin, there lived a secretive family whose names were unknown even to the Great Old Ones. Touched by the Madness of Power and allowing it to envelop them and swallow them whole, this family used that power to destroy rival families and take a top spot in the world they lived. Although previously hidden from the eyes of the Shinigami, their actions and displays of pure strength caught his attention and warranted a visit.

      The visit was meant to be a show of force to put the group in their place and prevent a much bigger threat in the future. However, the family was diplomatic in their roots and took the opportunity to propose a deal. In exchange for allowing the family to continue their practices in secret, they would become loyal to the Great Old Ones and aid in any venture Death required. Seeing this as a chance to expand his influence and have an edge over any and all evil force that may pop up in the far corners of the world, Shinigami accepted their offer and granted the family a pardon for their actions. For years, this deal held strong. After the conception of Deaths plan to build a school, he enlisted members of the family to help build the establishment. Afterwards, a contract was drawn up in which any members of the clan who desired to attend the school would be allowed to enroll free-of-charge. However, in accordance to certain laws set forth by this contract, the family could no longer perform their silent extra curricular activities without due response from Death or any of those affiliated with him.

      The family took this as a great offense. After so many years of being in Death's service, he was trying to put a collar on them. They accepted these terms, but, contrary to Shinigami's knowledge at the time, they continued to execute their own agenda with more secrecy than before. See, after years of being exposed to the Madness of Power, the family had grown to be feared as a superhuman powerhouse in the darker criminal undergrounds of the world. They developed inhuman strength and speed, and used this power to carry out high-priority assassinations for top dollar. In order to portrait the idea of "no hard feelings," the clan sent a young prodigy from their ranks to the academy. This is the history of the Assassin clan formerly known as Cirque du Arcand.

      A few years after this contract was put in place, the young Arcand boy had grown to become one of DWMA's top students. His name was Dublit. His naturally enhanced strength and speed, and his prodigal efficiency at soul wavelength control, made him a force of potent energy and raw potential enough to put some of the earliest instructors to shame. By the end of his second year, Dublit was even assisting some instructors with lessons and hosting tutoring sessions of his own. Dublit was one of the first solo-meister students at the academy, and one of the first students overall to collect his 100 soul requirement in order to graduate from the academy and become one of Death's soldiers. They gave him the nickname of Death Doctor, as one of his primary studies in school was in the medical field and he put forth a tremendous effort to learn how to apply his control over his soul wavelength into a medical application. However, the Arcand blood in his veins still gave him the instincts to be a natural killer. The combination of raw lethal force and precision medical application he had weaved into his knowledge earned him a title that was long since forgotten to most of DWMA's patrons. Most staff still get a slight chill at the mention of the Death Doctor.

      Death caught wind of the Arcand's activities and as a result, sent Dublit on an assignment to dispatch of the threat. At first, he struggled with the realization that he had been assigned the task of killing his family, but he settled his nerves and told himself it was for the greater good.

      Cecil was playing with his baby sister Amelia when it happened. It started with whisperings through their camp, which turned to yelling. Yelling turned into screams as a series of bodies began falling from the sky. He knew the men who fell. Clanmates from a neighboring camp. They appeared to be dead, puncture wholes spreading throughout their bodies and stains of blood covering their tattered clothes. Cecil picked up Amelia and began to run, looking over his shoulder to see the bodies twitch with inhuman motions before standing up and attacking the nearest Arcand they saw.

      Flames erupted from one side of the camp, blue in nature, followed by a massive pillar of ice. He knew those attacks. His mother and father were fighting back against the undead onslaught. Out of pure instinct, Cecil stopped and ran for his mother, intent on delivering Amelia to her and rushing off to assist in the defense. Bodies littered the streets, homes were demolished. The attack on their camp had been swift and one sided.

      Cecil arrived to the spot where his mother should have been, but she was not there. She must've moved on to help elsewhere. As he was about to search for her, two of the undead attackers rounded the corner and lunged at him, they grabbed him and began to beat him senseless. On the brink of losing consciousness, the bodies fell forward, motionless. A dark figure entered the yard and loomed over the boy, dragging the bodies off of him and tossing them to the side. He recognized the man standing above him, but the name was lost. He surely meant to save Cecil, and a lump of joy swelled in his throat.

      A yell of defiance rang out, piercing the silence between the two men, shattering Cecil's delusion with enough time to notice a knife in the mans hand, coming down towards Cecil, aimed at his heart. Rolling out of the way, Cecil spotted the lifeless body of his sister laying several feet away. He stopped dead in his tracks, not even making the effort to stand. From across the yard, Cecils mother rushed forward and stood between her son and the stranger, narrowly saving Cecil's life from another strike from his knife. She crumpled to the ground and gasped for breath as death came to greet her.

      The stranger took a few steps towards Cecil, strings slowly falling from his hands. It was then that Cecil put name to face. He turned to Dublit in horror, astonished that one of his own clansmen would orchestrate such a large scale assault on his own family. Before any words or actions could be exchanged, Cecil's mom used the last of her strength to freeze Dublit, but accidentally caught both men, suspending them in cryostasis.

      Many years have passed. The ice has melted enough to free Dublit, who has long since moved on and returned to Death City. Cecil, thawing long after Dublit, awoke to memories of a horror he couldn't describe. The mental damage it caused him resulted in the birth of a monster called Lilet, and a cage to contain this monster. Cecil has spent his days since his thaw in solitude, piecing together exactly what happened to his clan in the past, concocting a plan for revenge.

◇Abilities and Techniques Information

    •Mental Limit Gate 
      Due to the assassination of the Arcand clan and the vast amount of mental damage that it did to Cecil, he developed an extremely violent personality that calls itself Lilet. Cecil is aware of the presence of this split persona and had a witch place a prison in his mind for the persona to exist in. In doing so, a lot of Cecil's abilities and his soul wavelength took a hit in terms of raw damage output and strength. Cecil adapted and decided to focus his efforts to develop precision control over his abilities instead. However, Lilet occasionally breaks free. This happens whenever Cecil is knocked unconscious or is suffering from an emotional breakdown. This weakens the spell enough for Lilet to break free. The main difference between the two personas is that while Cecil is adept at precision control, Lilet possesses much greater power and strength with their abilities and is able to be more destructive than Cecil. In order to redo the seal, Lilet must either be overpowered or knocked unconscious. Although the spell isnt completely under Cecils control, he is able to weaken it himself and grant Lilet control for a short period of time before the seal recognizes that Lilet is free and forcefully puts him back in his cage.


    •Thunder God's Blessed Wavelength 
      Cecil is able to generate and control a large amount of electricity. He is able to infuse this electricity into weapons to enhance their attack power, attack with this electricity in both small and large scales, etc.


    •Thunder God's War Shield
      Cecil is able to create a small magnetic charge over his body in order to soften the blow from attacks from metallic objects. Although it isn't strong enough to completely nullify the damage, it does reduce the force of the attack.


    •Swift Judgement 
      Cecil is able to convert his body into electricity for a moment in order to teleport. When he materializes in a new place, it generates a static field that makes hairs stand on end. There is also a slight pressure burst that gains some force when Lilet is in control.


    •Thunder God's Wrath 
      A combo attack that requires Cecil to teleport above his opponent. By generating a massive electrical charge and concentrating most of it into his hand, Cecil rains down on an opponent or area by rotating his body on a horizontal axis, using his hand to collect the remaining electricity. When he comes down, it appears like a Lightning strike straight from the sky and all of the electricity is immediately pushed outward from his hand on contact, dealing heavy electrical damage to whatever he hits. This can also be done using a blade that is infused with electricity. The sheer scale of this attack makes it unlike any other attack that Cecil delivers.


    •Blood Conduction 
      Cecil is able to generate a light static field around his body. In doing so, he is able to draw out iron from any open wounds on his body and manipulate the iron to form bladed weapons. These weapons range in size from shuriken to a small dagger to a katana.


    •Thunder God's Holy Armor 
      Cecil is able to generate a constant electrical charge from his back and arms by resonating with his soul for a moment to create what he calls a generator loop. In doing this, the increase in wavelength created by self resonating for that short window of time begins coursing through his body, using the extra generated electricity as a way to replenish its power once it begins to fade. The result of doing this, besides the obvious physical change, is increased speed and strength besides his natural buff. He also gains an increased attack speed for his electrical based attacks by bypassing the time it takes to generate electricity for those attacks.


    •Arcand Physique 
      Being a member of the Arcand clan, he has inhuman natural strength and speed, as well as a much higher durability than most people. His lineage, full of assassins, also gives him a wide variety of combat ability, as well as knowledge of assassins arts. He can conceal his presence against all 6 senses to the point that you wouldn't know he was there unless he was directly in your sight or you used soul perception abilities, against which his soul would appear quite small and wouldn't match up to how strong he is.
