Thinking about another springboard, Styles would second guess that. Instead, he would climb the top turnbuckle. Now up top, he would align his footing, before leaping forward onto Edge with a 450 splash!

The 450 would connect! Styles would now look to hook Edge's leg for the cover!

The 450 Splash would connect! "One! Two! Three!" Edge would raise his shoulder, but after the three count!

The bell would ring three times after Edge failed to get his shoulder up in time, with the referee calling for the bell, signaling the match's end.
"NAW YOU DON'T WANT NONE, NOPE, YOU DON'T WANT NONE, I KNOW YOU SCARED BUT YOU REALLY DONT WANT NONE" would play out through the PA system as a battered AJ Styles would get up and have his hand raised in victory!
"HERE IS YOUR WINNER... A...J... STYLES!"
The announcer would say, as Styles would be in the ring leaning up against the ropes holding his ribs. He would then roll out of the ring with the audience clapping for the two men's performance. Styles would high five fans on his way up the ramp back to the locker room area.

At first he was confused, arguing with the referee about whether or not it was a three count. As he kept on arguing, he got angrier at what had happened. Before AJ could leave, Edge decided that he wouldn't let him go! Before AJ got up the ramp, Edge would chase him and try to attack him from behind.

As Styles was walking up the ramp, he would quickly feel a crushing blow to his back and head area, as he would then fall and roll forward from the force of the impact onto the steel stage! it was Edge and the audience was confused by his salt and his unsportsman-like behavior! But it was Edge and everyone should've seen it coming but they didn't!!

Fueled with anger, Edge would send blows to AJ's skull. After the shots, Edge would wait for AJ to get up!

Shot after shot after shot, AJ Styles would eventually be busted open as he would begin to show color on his head, being busted open hard way from the anger of Edge! eventually after a few moments, AJ Styles would begin to struggle and wobble to his feet!

DOWN GOES AJ! DOWN GOES AJ! AJ Styles would be hit with the spear, with his head snapping to the ground with a huge sickening thump, as the crowd would awe in disgust! the commentators were going crazy and the fans only had one question.. WHY EDGE, WHY!!!??!?

The hate visible in his eyes, the Rated-R Superstar glared at the man he had taken down after a relentless attack. The crowd was confused. Edge, a face, had beaten down a fellow competitor after a hard fought contest with a clean finish. Was it bad sportsmanship? Or, was there another reason? The crowd didn't know and Edge wasn't explaining anything. Sliding his hair back, a small smirk would be formed on his face, which the crowd responded with a barrage of boo's. Tonight, Edge was bent on making a statement. He knew this wouldn't be his final appearance tonight.
