STREETS OF LONDON

The streets of London aren't always gloomy, but expect mostly grey skies. London is a bustling city full of busy people and those who may not be so busy. Terrans stick out like a sore thumb in the area though most folks are accepting of the new state of things. Walk, take the bus, a cab, whatever you'd like to get from Point A to Point B. Enjoy your time!

Pavel leisurely walked up the stairs away from the entrance to the underground. The pitter-patter of rain could be heard before it was seen or felt. He didn't mind the rain. It's not like it would put a damper on his plans. A smile sat on his face as he pulled his hood over his head. Pavel didn't bother with umbrellas. Two thin strips of wire traveled from his earbuds just to disappear under his light jacket. He stuffed his hands in his pockets when he reached the top of the stairs and kept going. That's when he began to hum a cheery tune.

Light brown eyes took in everyone around him as he strolled through the streets. He was excited for what was to come, but he needed to be patient. That's why he decided to walk into a decent looking cafe. It was probably a good idea to get something to eat anyway. Pavel shifted the travelers backpack so he could slip it off easier and set it down next to the chair he decided to sit in. After getting comfortable he pushed his hood off--not bothering to fix any stray brown locks that might have appeared. Instead, he pulled out his earbuds so he could talk to the lovely little lady that was serving him. Why not strike up a conversation? It wasn't that hard since people had a tendency to be curious about him because of his height.

By the time he left the cafe, he had satisfied his stomach and gotten a number. Only time would tell if he would call the poor girl. Now on to show. Once again he walked through the streets as the rain gently hit the pavement. When he arrived at a certain bookstore he walked in and started to browse around. This time he kept his hood on; although he left his earbuds rest on his chest. It wasn't long before he wandered up to the second floor. If he was a book nerd he probably would have been drooling over how beautiful everything was laid out, but he didn't care. He was only using the store as a place to observe what was about to happen. It was the perfect spot after all.

A red bus pulled up to a nearby stop right on schedule--which was lucky for him. The doors open, but before anyone could step out an explosion occurred. Pavel took a deep breath, almost as if he was as shocked as everyone else. That wasn't the case though. It was more of an excited type of inhale. Light brown orbs took in the quick burst of fire and sparkles that lit up the night sky before the cloud of smoke started to fill the air. There was no way anyone would survive that--unless there was dragonkin on board maybe. Sometimes he forgot about the new races that littered the planet. Not that he had any reason to hate them. In fact, he was probably more intrigued than anything.

More patrons joined him at the window mumbling with concern and horror. He idly added to the conversation. It was great. Everyone's reactions were priceless. A small smile slipped onto his features. Luckily no one was actually paying attention to him. After he soaked it all in he made his way out like some of the others did that were more inclined to either attempt to help or stare in disbelief. He was one of the ones that stared. It worked so well. The bus bomb had just enough to do the amount of damage he wanted while going off exactly when he planned. The only thing that would mess it up was if the bus schedule was off by a good amount. Someone had time to find it though. It was in its hiding place for the whole day after all.

After confirming that there were indeed no survivors he snuck away from the scene. Everything was dying down. The excitement was fizzling out. There was no way he was going to stick around and be questioned. It was just a big waste of time. There were better things to do: like hit up that chick from earlier. Then he could get a view from someone that wasn't there. Pavel knew when she'd be getting off and that she was a good distance away. She'd hear about it at the very least.

Pavel put his earbuds back in before stuffing his hands in his pockets as the noise from the chaos died down the farther away he got. This time he didn't have anything playing until a bit later. After all, he was still reveling in what he got to experience. A hearty laugh started to slip from his lips. He didn't care if anyone heard. Although he didn't try to get caught, if he was accused he'd be pleased more than anything. At that point, he was far enough away to be some oblivious bloke listening to something too loudly.

Pavel stayed in the city for a few more days. He didn't really care whether the authorities got something from the wreckage that could implicate him, but he did keep tabs since he happened to be around. It didn't hurt. Not to mention the fact that it was quite a laugh whenever they accuse someone else of the crime. Most of the time was spent doing random things here and there. He also hung out with that chick be met at the cafe a couple times. The first time was to see how she took the whole bombing incident. Since she was interesting enough he went out with her another time. Although she was upset that he had to leave, she was probably lucky that their relationship didn't get intimate.

Then he left to go to a place he's never been before. [EXIT]
