Onisato's residential district is very similar to that of traditional Japanese residential districts. It is a series of homes clustered together that are in the style of traditional Japanese family homes. Many of them have the same red and blue color to represent the oni that the town is named after, and they are actually very well-built. Most buildings are reinforced so that the intense cold and blizzards do not damage them too badly, and there is a weekly time in which Mages come through and mend whatever has been destroyed on the homes. Recently, electricity and cable has been installed in many of the homes, allowing people to view television and learn about the new world that they are in.
