She got up as usual and felt different. Not so much physically, but she felt just generally more aware of everything around her. Like she could feel things better. Shrugging it off, she flew to take her morning bath before her daily magic practice.

Her usual meditation for practice seemed more intense then normal. It was like the magic just jumped around her when she tried to draw it to her to do stone skin. Wrapping it around her, she stood up and walked over to her excersise rock. Lifting it till she was tired. But she did notice, it took a bit longer then normal for her to get tired. Maybe she was getting the hang of this. Letting the magic go, she sat back down and rested by meditation. Calming herself down and getting her energy back, she stood up. She had alot of things to get done today. So taking to the air, she flew off to start her day.

Her magic training was getting easier very little each day. She was also to hold the Stone skin for about a minute now, and it took about two seconds to pull up around her. When before it took a while for her to pull up. She didn't have to concentrate on it as much and now she could use it with her eyes open.

Picking up the rock, she walked around with it, timing herself to see how long she could hold it, The time was less when she was stressing it, such as using it to move, but it was much longer from the first time she tried to do it.

Today she was going to try to do the Stone shaping spell again. Since she had tried them all, she was going to try them all again to see if she was able to do any of them. Finding her rock she had picked up from the inside garden, she held it in her hand. Concentrating, she pulled the magic from around her and centered it on her hands. She had to pour all of her attention on her hand, or she would lose the magic. Making it go to specific area was still difficult for her.

After a while, she had to release the magic. Tired, she sat down and glared at the rock. She was about to throw it away in her frustration when she noticed something. It's shape was slightly altered. Not by much, but there were small indentations where her tips of her fingers and thumb had been.

Interesting. She would have to try this again later. But for now, she needed a nap.

Patience flew into the shop. She seemed very unhappy and looked like a wreck. She tried to make it to the counter, but settled for a half crash landing on the floor.

"Great.... Just perfect..."

Patience muttered as she picked herself off the ground. Brushing her wings off, she noticed she just made her wing worse then it was before. Drooping that wing a bit, Patience sat down on the ground with a sigh. She was really not having a good day. And to now top it all off, she was sitting on the dirty floor.

"When was the last time anyone swept in here?"

She commented rather dryly, annoyed at her present condition.

Aleric headed into the shop, intent on finding the list of elements. Ice's question about what his was had made him curious. He paused, looking around, his eyes catching on the green feien on the floor. He jerked slightly, dropping down to the ground.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Patience whinced again as she tried to move her wing. Looking around where she was, she was trying to find something that might help her since no one apeared to be around. But everything looked so dirty on the ground level.

"There is a reason I like to land on the counter. Ugh. Now I know why Amalthea looked like a mess... Ugh. I am so going to need a bath after this."

Patience was sulking, her day just kept getting worse and worse.

Aleric winced slightly, seeing how she was holding her wing and speaking to herself. She hadn't noticed him. He moved closer, not wanting to spook her, but needing to help if possible. He cleared his throat. "Ma'am? Are you okay?" He asked, a little louder this time.

In the back of her head, something seemed to be there. The a voice came. Looking around, she then noticed the Ancient landing nearby.

"Frankely... No. No I'm not ok. Today has been a total wreck and I am having no luck. First at home my bath breaks... Then I find someone accidently shifted my house where I sleep, so everything is tilted. Then I end up the recepient to a stray milk bottle from Fortune. I finally free myself from under it, when I end up nearly crushed by the kid. I usually love kids, but not when they crush the life out of me. Thankfully I have been studing Stone skin, or I would have been in real trouble. But I did hurt my wing a bit, so I decided to come here for some peace and quiet and I nearly get eaten by an owl who wanted to make me lunch. Then I finally get here and end up on the floor. This just isn't my day..."

"It sounds to have been a difficult day, indeed." He replied softly, smiling in empathy. "If you would like, I might be able to speed up your healing. Although I can't heal... yet." Mentally he made a note to learn that skill. If Silva could do it, so could he!

"And I could help you to the counter, if you would like."

Patience looked around at her present condition and then back at the ancient.

"I think that would be a good idea. I really can't stand being on the floor. It's flithy. Someone really needs to give this place a good sweeping and mopping."

Patience remarked, unhappy about being surrounded by so much dirt and filth. She just hated being dirty and with her bath out of commission, she wasn't looking forward to trying to clean herself with out it. She brought her attention back to the ancient, then to the counted far above.

"So what's your plan?"

"I will have to carry you." He said, not minding the fact, but not sure she would be so happy about it. "Unless that would be a problem?"

Carrying? Well, that wasn't exactly what she had in mind, but it wasn't exactly a terrible thing either. Though she would do anything to get out of the filth. She HATED being dirty. She looked him over. He wasn't to much taller then herself, and if she tucked her wings a bit, he might be able to carry her. Though his wings didn't really look all that impressive in size.

"Do you think you can carry me?"

Not trying to sound insulting, she just didn't want him hurting himself while trying to help her. Then she would really feel bad.

"I don't need the both of us injured..."

"I think I can manage." He replied dryly, heading towards her and making a seat with his hands. "You need to focus less on your wings and more on your magic for flying." He said, motioning for her to sit so he could carry her. "But it's difficult to do when in pain."

Patience looked at him, cocking her head to the side.

"Flying with out my wings? You used magic for flying? I guess that would explain how some of the other feiens who have odder looking wings are able to fly without flapping. Interesting."

She had never thought about magic helping her fly. But it kinda made sense. She was not like a bird or bat, that had hollow bones, yet she flew with relative ease. It could be due to her using magic without thinking. It could explain why she usually didn't get to tired flying about as she does. Shaking her head to get beck to reality, she walked over to where Aleric was offering to help her. Wincing, she shifted her wing to a better position. She bite her lip as she moved it, then she sat in the make-shift seat. With her jaw set, and her mind reaching out for magic around her, she nodded her head to show him she was ready.

He took to the air slowly, a little smile pulling at his lips. "With as worn as my wings are, I find it better not to use them more often than I have to." He said softly, stepping down on the counter and lowering her, being careful of her wing. Then he reached out, touching the injured wing in question, focusing on his minor healing ability.

Patience only opened her eyes when they touched the counter. It seemed to work better then she expected. Though she flinched as He took her wing in his hand. She turned and watched what he was doing.

"How are you doing that? What are you picturing or thinking to do healing magic? I am rather new... ouch.. And I don't quite know how this all works."

She cringed as the wing got moved a bit with her trying to talk to him. She hoped it wasn't that bad, as much as it was hurting. Atleast it did move, so it wasn't broken. Which was a good thing.

"I... I don't think I got you name sir... My name is Patience."

She watched a bit more.. Then said in a softer voice.

"... Thank you."

"It's not healed... but it should feel a little better soon." He said, pulling his hand away. "There's magic inside of us. We're magical beings, after all. So I kind of... focus on my gut reaction." He finished, shrugging.

"And that's a lovely name. I'm Aleric. It's nice to meet you in a more... peaceful setting." He offered his hand, admiring her eyes.

Patience was taking aback at his offered hand. She had never seen another feien do this to anyone before. Less offer it to her. This was a thing she only saw in the knight movies Shiro was fond of. With her eyes flickering a bit from his hand to his face, studing him for a sec as her hand slowly came up to place her hand into his.

" Nice to meet you Sir Aleric."

He grinned, shaking her hand, then bringing it up to brush a kiss over her knuckles. "I'm just Aleric. Nothing very special about me, honestly." He said, letting her hand go. "In fact, I'm still not sure what my element is."

He turned, looking at the list. "Although I have a good idea."

She recienced a kiss, which was what she expected, and yet hand not. Though at the mention of his element, she was curious. Patience looked at him, kinda squinting to see him, and yet kinda seem beyond him. She continued to stare at him, she also sniffed the air. After a bit, she stopped and shook her head.

"Well, for one thing, your not earth like me. Talon said something about being able to sense the same element. And you don't ahve that um... Earthen quality that seems to be around the few earth feiens that are around. Well, Ian wasn't earth, but he was plant. And it felt similar... Your is, but isn't. Your not air either. You don't have that airy quality that air feiens seem to have either. You seem to calm to be a fire... Though I don't know what you could be though. Sorry."

She wished she could ahve been more help since he had helped her. Her wing still hurt, though it did feel better then it did before. A gut feeling. That's how magic worked? Maybe she was trying to hard. She turned her attention to look at her wing for a second.

Alek and Cosnaidis entered the shop, Alek riding in his usual place by the scruff of her neck.

"I just want to make sure nobody's taken it down, that's all, we won't even be gone for ten minutes," Alek was saying to the cat. She merely huffed in response. He looked about, then noticed a pair of feien on the counter. "Hello," he called in polite greeting.

"Perhaps I can figure it out." He said, nodding in agreement with her comments. "I um... shall leave you and you--" He said, nodding a greeting to Alek. "To talk while I figure it out." He finished, smiling crookedly. He gave a sketchy bow before heading for the list. Soon he was lost in his study, as he tended to get when reading.

Patience turned to the newcommer and turned away from her still hurt wing. He was new, but yet he seemed familiar. Patience tilted her head, trying to recall where she had might have seem him. Though that cat looked more familiar.

"Hello there."

Nai jumped up on the counter a short distance away so she wouldn't risk knocking over the feien, and Alek glided over to her.

"I'm Alek," he introduced himself. "And this is Cosnaidis." He gestured to the cat now curled up, muttering obscenities to herself about irresponsible juveniles.

Patience looked down at the younger feien and smiled, trying not to move her wing to much.

"Well it's nice to meet you Alek, Cosnaidis. Are you a recent blooming? I know there were several from Ian and Aria, are you one of their children?"

He kinda reminded her of Ian, and was blue like Aria, so there was a high posibility he was one of their kids. That and she didn't know of to many other juvinials that were about. Though she didn't know if she was right or not, that's why she was asking.

Alek blinked at the question, then nodded. "Yes, I'm one of Aria and Ian's children. My bond is Sevvie," he said, smiling at her. "Do you know him?"

"Ah!"

Patience slapped her closed fist into an open palm, realizing why he was familiar yet she had never seen him before. He was Sevvie's bloom she had met before. And that's why the cat was familar, she had seen the feline with Sevvie before. This was the leaf bloom that he kept in the terarium.

"Yes, I know Sevvie. We have met a few times. I saw you when you were still a Bloom... er... Leaf. Leaf bloom. That always confused me how a feien fit in a leaf, but here you are. My name is Patience. I also know both your parents as well. Nice to meet you."

Patience bowed her head, moving her wing. She flinched and brought her hand to her shoulder. She really was going to need to do somehting about this. She woulnd't be able to head home like this.

Alek looked at her curiously. "Something wrong?" he asked, then felt stupid immediately after. Duh something was wrong or she wouldn't be flinching.

"I had somewhat a bad day. I crash landed and hurt my wing. It's, nothing to worry yourself about. Thank you though for the concern."

Patience didn't want the young Feien to worry himself about her. She was feeling better and her motherly insticts was taking over. She didn't want the young feien to worry about her. She'll be fine.

Aleric looked up at those words, scowling lightly. She was still hurting... He only knew one feien that could help, but Silva was busy... if he was even here...

He paused, seriously debating going to find him. It wouldn't hurt to look, would it? On second thought, knowing Silva, it might...

He headed for the two, offering hesitantly. "My um..." Friend? Brother? Nemesis? What WAS Silva, anyways? "Aquaintance knows how to heal... if you would like me to see if I can find him." He offered.

He looked up at the oddly-marked purple feien. "Well, supposedly I'm able to heal a little bit," Alek said dubiously. "My element is Life, you see, and um... I don't know if I can do you any good but I could certainly try..." He blushed a bit - his magic was a bit pathetic, but he did want to help her. Especially if she knew his bond.

She looked over at Aleric, and bit her lip.

"Well, it seems as pensive as you are with talking to him, I think I don't wan tot put you in that position."

Patience looked at her wing questioningly.

"Gut reaction eh? I wonder."

Colsing her eyes, she just relaxed. Letting the energy float up around her. She didn't try to pull it like she normally did, rather was trying to push it lightly and pull it flowingly around her wing. Focusing on where it hurt. She opened her eyes to look at her wing and her Eyes seemed to be Glowing brighter then before.

He watched silently for a second, glad that his advice seemed to have helped. Then looked over at the juvenile. "I'm a life element, as well. Although I don't know many spells yet."

Alek felt the pull of the magic, felt it in his very bones. Almost without thinking, he laid his hand on her shoulder, trying to supplement her own healing magic with his. It was the duty of a Life feien to help those in need - she needed healing, and he would damn well try to help it along.

Patience felt a hand on her shoulder. It broke a bit of her concertation, but she saw the young feien trying to help her out. She smiled, her eyes turning up in happyness at the corners. Then she turned to look back at her wing and set back to concentrating. It was feeling better, but not there yet. She contiued to mold the enegry around her wing, making it spiral around the hurt part, imagining a strand of magic weaving itself to and fro around the limb. It was as if she could almost see the magic. But not quiet yet. Her knees were getting weaker as the wing was feeling better. Her form seemed to be half sinking to the counter top.

Aleric reached out, just waiting to grab her before she fell. He didn't want her to hit the counter and hurt herself, not right after working so hard to heal!

Dimly Alek realized that he didn't have enough magic to help her out that way, so he felt for the flow of magic from his hand and bade it stop, feeling as if he were working through molasses, then concentrated more on helping the odd feien keep Patience on her feet - he may not be able to help magically, so he'd just help her pride. He had to help her any way he could. Had to.

As she finished healing, she was rapidly loosing her consiousness. The last thing she realized was the two of them was trying to catch her. She was out. Her strength sapped, she fell unconsious. It was just a build up of everything that had happened. She had no more energy left, she was passed out. Though she was breathing fine, and the wing seemed to not be hurting her anymore. She was sleeping for now.

Aleric caught her, smirking slightly. "She's had a rough day." He said softly.

"Indeed," Alek said, his head still a bit muzzy from using magic. He looked at the other feien. "So you're a Life element too?" he asked as he started working on shifting Patience to a more comfortable position without dropping her.

Aleric nodded, helping the other male lower her gently to the counter. Then he sat down himself, using his leg to prop up her head. "I am. But I'm afraid I haven't been around long enough to do much with it. I was reborn less than a week ago."

"But you're an adult, aren't you?" Alek asked, blinking. "I've been around for about a week, and I'm a juvenile. Wouldn't that have to make you older than me?"

"In a way. I didn't come from a bloom. At least not this time. I was dead, then someone brought me back. They call it being an 'Ancient.'" He replied, glancing down at Patience to make sure she looked comfortable.

"She's quite beautiful, isn't she?" He asked, almost idly.

Dead, then brought back? Was such a thing even possible? Hmmm... Science had better have a good answer for this. He shook himself at the question, snapping out of his private musings. "Huh?? Oh, um... I guess?" Alek stammered out, stumbling over his words in confusion. She was pretty, he supposed, but he hadn't ever really bothered with how she looked. "Is that why you're all wierdly marked? Because you're an Ancient?" he blurted out, then sighed inwardly. He really had to start thinking these sort of things through before he said them.

Aleric blinked, then laughed softly. "I don't know why I'm marked so weirdly. I believe I was born this way." He said, amusement in his eyes. "I hadn't realized I WAS marked strangely, actually. But I haven't met many feien as of yet."

"Well, I haven't either so I suppose I shouldn't be saying that," Alek admitted. "But I've only seen one other feien who was as... um... colourful as you are, and that was Kojak." He shrugged. "Everyone else I've seen has fairly plain-looking markings by comparison."

Aleric nodded. "I suppose I do stand out." He didn't sound as if that fact bothered him. "It's not something I'm going to worry about, it's just a part of who I am."

"Do you think we should try to wake her?" He asked, looking back to Patience.

"Mm, probably not. She probably needs to rest after having expended so much energy healing. I know I could sure use a nap right about now," he said, grinning wryly. Then his face fell into what can only be described as the "Oh-s**t Expression." "Oh man, it's late. I've been gone way too long, Sevvie's going to notice for sure!" He thwacked his forehead with an open palm, mortified. Still, duty demanded he do something about Patience. "Uh, if she doesn't wake up, I could take her home on Cosnaidis. I don't know where she lives, but I'm sure Sevvie wouldn't mind her coming over... Or maybe we can rouse her just long enough to get directions?" he asked, fretting just a bit.

He frowned, looking thoughtful. "I'll stay here. She'll wake eventually." He said calmly, nodding with that decision. "You should go home, your bond is probably worried."

His was probably worried as well, but he doubted she was AS worried as the juvenile's. Silva was here somewhere, after all.

Alek nodded. "Thanks..." he started, then paused, frowning. "You know, I never caught your name, nor gave you mine. I'm sorry; I'm Aleksander."

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Aleksander. I'm Aleric." Aleric replied, smiling.

Patience groaned as she was coming back to the land of the consious. Though her body wasn't happy with her in the least. She noticed right away that her wing felt better... And She also noticed she was in Alerics lap. Making a bit of a squeaking noise, she got off his lap and landed in a kneeling position next to him. Her face was beat red, and she was having trouble coming up with something to say.

"A pleasure to meet you, Aleric." Alek said, smiling. "Ah, back with us again, Patience?" He grinned ever-so-slightly wider as she blushed. "If you aren't feeling up to getting home by yourself, Nai and I could take you, or Aleric could, if you prefer."

"Oh good, you're awake." Aleric said, calmly, a hint of laughter in his voice. "We were worried how we would get you home." He glanced at her wing. "Are you feeling better?"

Patience didn't undersatnd why they both seemed to be in such good and cheery moods. Maybe a joke or something was said when she was still out of it, she didn't know. She turned and stretched her wing. It was a bit sore, but most of her body was sore.

"Aparently I can heal.... and it takes alot out of you. Ugh. I feel like I got run over by something. But I seem to be all better."

She flexed the wing in question and she didn't flinch. It seemed better, in exchange for her being really really tired.

"Do you need assistance getting home?" Aleric asked.

Flapping the wing a bit more, seeing if she felt up for a flight. Then she remembered something.

"Oh, I forgot the kits should be in Shiro's store. They took refuge there after Fortune arrived. Pickle stayed behind, but Magnet was to lazy to avoid the curious hands of the new baby, so he went to the store to seek some peace. His shop isn't to far from here. I think I can make it there and then Magnet can give me a ride back. I... I don't want to impose anymore then I already have. Thank you Aleric... Thank you Alek."

Her face had lost some of the redness, though a nice small glow of red still hung across her nose.

"It was my pleasure to assist you." He replied, nodding slightly, a little smile playing on his lips. "I should be leaving, as well." He said, smoothly getting to his feet.

"Not a problem at all, Patience," Alek said smoothly, smiling at her. "But I'm afraid I must take my leave now, or I'll catch it even worse from Sevvie than I've already got coming to me." He winced dramatically, then gave the two a bow. "I hope we shall get to talk again sometime soon!" he called as he trotted over to Cosnaidis.

The cat was quite angry about being woken up and about having come to the shop at all, so Alek boarded meekly, ignoring the almost inaudible string of curses from the feline's mouth, and waved goodbye to the two still on the counter.

Getting to her feet, Patience tested how well she could stand. Flapping her wings a bit, she got herself airborn. She groaned a bit, since she was sore, but she can fly. Waving to Alek as he left, she turned to bid farewell to Aleric. Her nose blush deeped as she looked back at him.

"T.. Thank you again. I... I hope we see eachother again soon. Have a good night."

She stuttered in his precence. Then bowed in midair, she turned and left out the window before he could respond. Heading to the shop to have Magnet bring her home.

He stood there for a moment, a little smile pulling at his lips, then dropped off the counter, heading out the door. He needed to get home.

Tahnking Magnet for bringing her home's she settled on Shiro's pillow on his bed. Her house was still tilted, and her bath was still a wreck, but she was to tired to care. The flight to Shiro's store took more out of her then she expected, and not she was even to tired to care that she was dirty.

"Ugh.... I'll worry about it in the morning..."

She closed her eyes and breathed in, smelling Aleric still on her hair. She blushed a bit as she fell asleep.
