One of the best parts of Labyrinth is the infinite amount of possibility within it. Hundreds and thousands of realms can be found within this beautiful world, and each is connected to yet another realm. It's believed that Labyrinth is ever expanding and lacks an end, and there's no evidence to say otherwise. No Doggo has lived to explore every realm, and no Doggo physically can, even if they extend their lives.

A good way to describe realms is imagine that the smaller realms are like snow globes; scenarios locked into one place and never changing. Other realms are like planets; adapting and as lively as Earth itself. They are small realities, all connected through gates. They all connect in one way or another and make up the world that is Labyrinth.

While there's no way to feasibly list every single realm, this is a thread for all the realms that have been RPed in. You can RP in all these realms except ones that state otherwise, and if you don't see a realm that fits your needs the you can make a new one and get it approved here!

      Key:
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ - Not dangerous in the slightest! In fact, this may be the safe haven you were looking for.
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ - Maybe there's a few poisonous plants, or one predator you need to avoid. No biggie.
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ - A little more caution is advised. There's something dangerous here, so keep an eye out.
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ - You might want to travel in a pack, as this place is dangerous at times. Plan ahead and get to know the realm.
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ - For those unprepared you should avoid this realm. If you want a challenge, come here. If you don't, you might die if not prepared.
♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ - Stay out. This place is not fit for an average Doggo. To survive here is a feat on itself and you'll come out either dead or stronger for it.

Here are the realms that have been created for use!
Remember, you can make your own realm and get it approved, too!
Note: Earth-like animals can be found in almost all realms, and ones that would fit that type of realm won't be noted as
there's too many to jot down. If the world is meadow based or swamp based, for example, the animals you picture in our
meadows and swamps will be there. Wildlife noted will be fantastical creatures that cannot be found on Earth to keep things simple.
The same can be noted for vegetation. The compendium for plants can be found here.
You can find a bestiary here.

                The Island of Labyrinth:
Description: Said to be the first creation within Labyrinth, it's a massive floating island connected to other smaller floating islands in what seems like a sunset-colored void. Stars glow within the void and a strange light surrounds each island. The large island hosts hundreds of gates that seem to change each day, and the smaller floating islands each host one door. Time doesn't seem to visually change here unless you pay attention to the doors shifting. While this realm is safe, it is not habitable, as it only has grass and doors within it. It is purely a hub for various realms.

                Bottomless Swamp:
Description: A dangerous swamp that consumes those not careful. While plenty parts of the swamp are habitable, dark patches of water should always be avoided, as they'll swallow an animal up into what seems like a bottomless pit.

                Terra:
Description: A realm not much different than how Earth operates. Covered in jungles, swamps, forests, deserts, and more, it has a healthy amount of biomes and is massive in size, giving creatures enough room to explore and spread apart.

                Crystal Forest:
Description: This realm is just a large forest, covered in trees made of ice and snow. It's a visually stunning location and has little danger within it, making it a nice place to visit or even settle down.
                Restrictions: N/A
                Danger Level: ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦

                Eclipse:

Packs: The Solaris Pack and The Lunaris Pack
                Creator: Nymphiea

                The Night:
Description: Named appropriately so, it is always nighttime here. The realm seems to stretch on forever, although whether this is true or not is still unknown. There are no oceans or seas, however one can find ponds, lakes, and rivers. Most of the realm is covered in grass, as if it is one singular large field. You can find trees without leaves, however they're very much alive despite their deceptive appearance.

To the west is one of only areas of note; The Starry Forest; a forest with the same barren-like trees covered in Star Dust Moss. This is the brightest natural location within The Night, and lacks any grass; instead covered in stone. A mountain is placed directly next to the forest.

The mountain reaches the cloud cover. There's rumors no one has reached the top alive, as anyone who has tried has never returned. There is a cave to the southeast that leads down to a hotter cave system. While it seems mostly pitch black, one can find hot glowing rocks within parts of the cave. It is advised to avoid those areas as it can get too hot unless you have Fire Immunity. There is also a risk of part of the cave system caving in.

Many of the creatures of this realm have developed either some way to see in the darkness (night vision, glowing/bioluminescence) or have evolved to no longer have eyes as sight isn't always needed.

Restrictions: None really. It is advised to have Night Vision or some sort of light source when you first enter as one of the gates is in an area of complete darkness.
                Danger Level: ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
Unique Wildlife: Shadow Cat, Glowing Axolotl, Bioluminescent Armadillidiidae, Pocket Bears, Screes, Cat Spiders
Unique Vegetation: Star Dust Moss, Carnivorous Plant
Weather: Mostly normal weather patterns, although it never grows cold and skips the winter season. The mountain top rarely has a patch of snow, however no one has seen it currently. The sun never comes out.
Gates: There are 3 gates in this realm. One at the mountain, one in the lower cave level (just after entering the cave hole), and one in the Starry Forest. The mountain gate is literally a gate over one of the paths leading up the mountain. It looks like a Torii (Japanese shrine gate) and leads to Terra. The lower cave gate is built into the cave wall and looks like a doorway built out of rocks. This one leads to The Island of Labyrinth. Do note that it is pitch black at this gate. The Starry Forest gate is another Torii set near a path that leads to the Meadow.
                Packs: None

                The Cavern:
Description: The Cavern is exactly as its name suggests. It's a large open cavern, with the ceiling tall enough that five Doggos could stand stacked up one another before they hit it. It is made from cool stone with various stalagmites scattered around the area. There is a pool of water around a corner, where along the rim Moon Tears grow, though no one is quite sure how the plants can grow in such a place. These Moon Tears are the only illumination in the cavern, but they provide enough light to light upon the entire space, save for the shadows in the attached tunnels. The only entrances/exits in this place are the gates that open off the sides. The Cavern serves as a go-between place, for those who wish to rest a while before they journey into another realm.

                Restrictions: N/A
                Danger Level: ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
                Unique Wildlife: Cat Spiders
                Unique Vegetation: Moon Tear
Weather: It's cool in temperature. If you've come from The Bitter Cold, it will seem warm by comparison, but compared to a Dweller's typical body heat, the Cavern's usual temperature will seem like a cool autumn breeze. It does not rain, storm, snow, or experience any other weather patterns.
Gates: The gates that are attached to the Cavern come from dangerous places (the Bottomless Swamp, The Bitter Cold, etc) with the Cavern acting as an escape route or resting place who those who dearly need it. The largest and most central within the Cavern leads to the Island of Labyrinth, so that a Dweller may move into another go-between, but with more options of where they would like to head.
                Packs: None
                Creator: belloblossom

                The Onsen:
Description: A giant Onsen. It is divided into four "sections", one for each season. The building looks to be 4 stories tall from the outside and all around the outside of the building is a thick mist that hides the surrounding area. No one knows for sure if anything is beyond the mist as they go into it and just return to the front door of the Onsen.

The first floor of the Onsen is the baths as well as the front counter where you check in. Many baths are open air but there are other types of baths (think almost of Spirited Away's bathhouse in regards to all different types of baths). The second floor is the banquet area. You can get different sized rooms to eat food in. Some rooms only served certain types of food, especially depending on what season building you are in. The third floor appears to be set aside for games, spa/massages, and just in general good times and relaxing times. The fourth floor is dedicated to bedrooms. You can get a common room where anyone and everyone sleeps or you can rent private rooms.

There are gardens throughout the building (think of the building being multiple buildings with covered walkways connecting them and in some spaces more on the 'inside' of the building, a courtyard if you will, have the gardens. There are rock/sand gardens, flower gardens, small forests/wooded gardens, and there are cool water ponds for water gardens. The water gardens tend to have a pavilion for you to sit and relax in the fresh air surrounded like a pond and generally some flowers (think of the old imperial chinese/japanese gardens where ladies would sit or walk).

Whenever you visit this realm you are allowed one free night. After that you must rent any additional nights you wish to stay. You can do so either with a monetary transaction or by exchanging some good or service. Many Dweller's you find here working are simply doing so in exchange for a room/bath.

As mentioned before there are all kinds of baths. Some are mixed baths, others are strictly one gender baths. Some are said to boost beauty, health, stamina, etc. There's even the rumored couples bath. They say any couple who baths in this bath for 30 minutes together without leaving the water will have a happy marriage/mating for the rest of their lives.

                Restrictions: N/A
                Danger Level: ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦
Unique Wildlife: Pixies, Jackalopes, Cat Spiders (are considered vermin and a job is required to keep them from living inside the Onsen)
                Unique Vegetation: Moon Tear
Weather: Normal weather for the most part. Is foggy on the outside of the building. Inside in the gardens it depends on the season. Usually nice weather, no storms. Spring and Summer parts of the Onsen will get rain showers but no downpours, just gentle rain. Winter does get snow as well. Autumn generally is cooler in the gardens but has no rain nor downright cold weather.
Gates: 3 in total. In the front of the Onsen, outside the main front door, is a porch/walkway. In the front is a Torii that when you walk under takes you to The Island of Labyrinth. Off to the left is another that leads to The Meadow. Off to the right is another that leads to Crystal Forest.

                Reclaimed Ruins:
Description: A realm that is covered in ruins and vegetation. Strange structures are riddled about this realm but nature has reclaimed everything. Structures are now falling apart and are covered in all kinds of plants. This is a realm similar to Earth except that there are no humans but there are signs everywhere that perhaps they or some other species existed here and flourished before disappearing. (Think post apocalyptic Earth).

There are many areas that have not been fully explored but there are a few notable areas. One is known as the Sheep Meadows. A family of Doggos settled here long ago, and still lives there, that raise and tend to the Steel Sheep that live in this meadow near the sea. It is a fairly peaceful area with a low danger level. Another is Dryad Forest, which is nearby to the south. This is a forest densely populated with Dryads and other magical creatures. It can be a dangerous place as there are parts of the forest that are considered 'infected' with Carnivorous Dryads.

The final known area is simply known as The City which isn't too far from Dryad Forest (southwest from Dryad Forest). There is part of a destroyed sign that has the words "...come to ....... City" carved in it thus the name The City. Beyond the sign is a sprawl of ruins. Some are tall, mostly intact buildings, while others are fallen buildings that used to be tall. Some are even just skeletons of what was going to be a building but was never finished, or perhaps it had just decayed to the point it is at now. There are others that were never tall but have pieces missing or have trees sprouting through them. There are many shadowy spots for Shadow Cats to prowl and so The City is one of the most dangerous places in this realm. Nature has truly reclaimed this area as there are plants all over. The biggest area of plants is to the north. There is a fairly large meadow, that used to be an open park, with trees starting to encroach before becoming a full on orchard. This is a very dangerous area as the orchard is really a Carnivorous Dryad orchard. Many creatures fall prey to these Dryads allowing them to spread further into this meadow. There are many strange debris and artifacts scattered throughout The City but unless you are with someone who knows the dangers and the general area it is not advised to seek adventure here. The City has claimed many lives of Doggos and other creatures. Also note that there are other ruins like The City but none have been named or were explored as well as this one; also this is the closest one to the Dryad Forest and Sheep Meadows.

Weather: Normal weather patterns, all four seasons. Depends on area you are in.
