Onyx had only just finished one of the two apples he had picked off a tree from the Apple's farm and whilst he knew it was technically stealing he didn't really have anything else to eat and no one to turn to so this was pretty much all he could do to live as he wasn't a fan of the ponies he hung around with but that was neither here nor there, he would have rather been on his own anyway, just tending to the small plot of garden he was given by a friend of Arcanes and he was happy to tend to that and just forget about the world around him.

 Beach Blossom on the other hand was out and about tending to her own garden, even though it was small she figured she needed to start somewhere and work towards a bigger and more ambitious goal. She hummed a happy tune to herself as she tended to her small garden. She glanced upwards st the sky it was a beautiful day out anyway, might as well make use of the nice weather.

Onyx decided to place the apple in a single saddle bag he carried and got up to make his way back to his plot of land that was given to him, deciding to go a different way, just for something different, he ended up hearing some humming which made him stop soon after taking the new path and listened "now what is that?" He asked himself softly as he followed the sound and soon came upon a filly, hiding behind a near by bush he just watched her, knowing this was probably wrong but he was curious as to who she was, if she was a friend or foe and...well...he just didn't like others so he decided that it was better to watch before venturing forth to talk to her, IF he wished to talk to her that is.

She sat back on her bottom looking around her environment, it was a very peaceful one and if birds decided to sing happy notes she would be okay with hearing them. She glanced around at her small garden and was satisfied with the fact that they were at least growing even though it was a very long and slow progress. It required a lot of patience to have a garden.

Onyx couldn't help but smile a little, she liked to garden also, well that was at least something they had in common, he took the apple out of his bag and ventured forth, anyone who liked gardening couldn't be all that bad could they? "Would you like something to eat?" Alright, strange pony with food being offered may not be the greatest thing to have seen walk into your garden but still. "I promise, I was just walking by and heard you humming" he said as he stopped meters away from her, deciding it best to stop before going any further as she didn't want to scare her and placed the apple on the ground and gently kicked it into the middle of them for her to have easier access to it if she wanted it.

Beach Blossom's ears flicked forward a bit as a another pony came out of the brush. She tilted her head to the side curiously, this was the first time she had seen another pony different from her. She swished her tail to and fro idly. She glanced down at the apple that the other placed on the ground for her "that would be nice" she said and smiled a little as he kicked it into the center. She approached the apple in the middle and picked it up satisfied with the crunch sound it made when she bit into in.

Onyx smiled at the other and moved up a little "hi, I am Onyx Rose, may i asked what your name is please?" He asked a a little shyly, not used to being so forward with others.

"Nice to meet you Onyx Rose, my Name is Beach Blossom. Although most call me just Blossom" she told him nodding her head in acknowledgement. "I appreciate the apple though, I was starting to feel a little peckish" she said politely.

"Pleasure to meet you also, just call me Onyx though and your welcome" he said as he looked around and saw the garden "you like to garden as well?" He asked curiously "I do as well, though I am wondering how hard seed splicing is" he said, still needing to borrow another book grom Princess Twilight on the subject.

Beach Blossom smiled at Onyx and glanced at her rather small garden "ahh...yes I do...its really small right now trying to grow a certain flower but I don't think the growing conditions are appropriate" she said frowning a bit. "In the long run though, I have bigger and more ambitous of goal of having my own specialty flower shop" she told him and tilted her head to the side a bit "Can't say I have tried seed splicing, so I couldn't help you there" she told him thoughtfully.
