MARINE tab SEAMEN tab RECRUIT [300 STM, 25 SPR] tab [Items: None] tab [Station: Lougetown]
Up early in the morning, a marine seamen recruit jogged into Lougetown Plaza, citizens moving out of his way, he was frantically looking for someone. However he would go about searching the local Inn first. After speaking with the clerk the young recruit would have been pointed to a coffee shop. Famous for is splendid brews the recruit wouldn't have enough time in order to try one, there was important business about.
Entering the cafe, the new recruits eyes would quickly dart around, the combine sense of exhaustion and desperation the marine gave off was a clear indicator that something wasn't right here. Looking around the shop the young marine was in search of a giant, or so he was told, but no one within the facility fit the description. Perhaps the young seamen had gone to the wrong shop.
Just as he was about to turn and leave, he caught a glimps of a Navy insignia coat. Overjoy the young man would rush over to the man with his face stuck in a book. "Captain Pendragon sir!" the young seaman would shout immediately standing at attention before the white haired man."Welcome to Lougetown sir!" the marine would say, sent as a messenger from the Marine Outpost in Shellstown to greet Captain Pendragon on his arrival in East Blue.

MARINE tab SEAMEN tab RECRUIT [300 STM, 25 SPR] tab [Items: None] tab [Station: Lougetown]
Now at ease. The young marine would watch as the giant Captain would smoke, for an entire 3 paragraphs most definitively setting some sort of new record. As the toxic clouds repeated smacked the marine in the face, he'd enjoy it. It was the only instance of smoke he was allowed to have since starting boot camp. "Um, Captain Pendragon sir!" The nervous marine would stutter reaching for his back pocket. "Here, this is for you." The man would say, handing the Giant man a envelope
"Also Captain, I don't know how long you'll be in Lougetown for, but the state of affairs here is in worst shape then it's ever been." The marine would reluctantly admit, he would do so at a whisper though, as to not startle the customers around them. Lougetown nick named Rougetown was the last stop for most pirates entering the grandline. With the fall of Marineford, an unknown number of pirates had either ran through or settled in the town. Causing a massive crime wave to commence in the city... And at the center of it all, World's End Tavern. A hot spot for pirate activity.
"Outpost number 112, which was stationed here was overrun by criminals and subsequently taken over. Now a gang has taken over and confiscated our weapons " The marine had said looking rather pathetic, however atleast his sense of duty was still intact.

Which made hiding here almost too easy.
No one from his regiment had been stationed anywhere near Paradise let alone one of the biggest cities in East Blue. No, Harlan had his platoon were stationed smack dab in the New World left to face off against the elements.
It was not secret why he'd dropped his colors, however he wasn't much better off, civilian life was much more complicated then he'd imaged. Spending almost a complete year bounching from island to island doing odd jobs and hitching rides in order to get this far... And he still had a ways to go, to finally go back to Port Moore and reunite with his family. "Blimey!" He would say, slicing his finger on a blade he'd been using to peel oranges with. That's what he'd been doing for a while now. When he arrived here, Harlan had nowhere really to go, he'd bounch around from tavern to tavern, buying drinks, and pretending to be drunk just so he could sleep in. But when that didn't work for him anymore, he'd decided for more honest living. Taking refuge with an elderly couple. Harlan would help them around their home in exchange for room and board. "Damn, slicer nicked me good." He thought stepping outside for a moment. Passing through his hair a fine sea breeze. "I can't ******** stay here any longer..." He would immediately think. Blood and citrus merging within his wound. The stinging feeling he would receive would pale in comparison to the stinging of his soul. His true home, back across the Grandline. An impossible task for one man alone. He hadn't been to the tavern for quite some time, the quality of men he'd find there where less then sea ready, and even less dependable. ╄━ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - █ ❝ location, ── Lougetown; East Blue [tab][tab]█ ❝ company, ── Alone [tab][tab]█ ❝ thoughts, ── "I need a drink."

  ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Throwing his coat on his body. Wrapping a long silk scar around his neck while England walked out of his house. England took a deep breath with a confident glance. It was before six o clock in the evening. England had been working late as usual with his strong posture. Only young sometimes he made it home early enough. Although others in the town were impressed how England managed to stay so humble. England worked as hard as grown men at the age of 17.
Others were impressed by England still sprinting to work. "Hehehe~ I'll walk this way. I'm not going to work." Some guy watching England fell over with a sweat drop.
His face got tight. Fingers suddenly clenched with bright inspiration. England knew that something on his mind was about to unleash. What his dream was in this Loguetown. There was something in Loguetown that he's been meaning to find. Something that he's heard of like a rumor, or legend. England has heard little through each of his ears. However, day by day, there were others who attempted to find this great colossal mystery. His feet quiet against the streets grounds. England didn't want to make too much of a scene. It was funny to see the way he was moving down the street. It was almost awkward between others who believed it was palpable, out in the open. England was only 17. So what he did wasn't as secretive as he thought. While he was sprinting down the street. There were others more grown believing in him. Believing he could truly make his dream come true. England's heart was heavy. England wasn't sure if he should be angry or confused. He wondered all sorts of things while he was looking for that something. It wasn't something that was kept from him. It was a rumor around Loguetown that he claimed was his. England had fierce loyalty towards himself. If that made any sense. Kind of like someone who didn't give up. A passiveness that potentially brought light to his own self-being. Of course these streets had horrendous effects on him. England ran into all sorts of troubles. Like gangs, elderly people, marines almost arresting him, ect. England has tried hard to actually follow this path.
Obviously England was rushing through Loguetown trying to find something. He knew what it was but others were confused as he past them. Extremely fast through a dash that showed quite emotion. England was thinking he was getting closer to his dreams. This was his imminent feeling. England was analyzing exactly what could of been getting in his way. England wouldn't normally do something like this if there wasn't something he needed. The ground beneath him sounded as if it was getting beaten by drums. It made absolute sense to claim what he believed what was that valuable. England ran through these crammed streets with his utmost speed. England was not stiff, he was very nimble, too. England of course was keeping all of this a secret. From all of his friends, family, ect. England past a building with speed that was close towards a cheetah. England was that driven to finding what was rightfully his. It was possible that he was truly getting closer to what he wanted. There was no surprise that he was gathering clues around town. Clues that would bring him closer to what he believed existed. England had gotten riled up with a smile on his face. Not saying that his demeanor was not already calm. England wouldn't give up it wasn't in his persona. England never hesitated in matters like these. He knew that at some point he was get home. But, he didn't want to go home empty handed.
England knowing how he felt began to feel even more spirited. He had to at least check around every spot around Loguetown, and still nothing, he found nothing yet. This type of movement, and his plans. It was all confidential from anyone that knew him. England was starting his pirate life right here and now. England had wanted to do something like this for a long time. It was like setting out for his dreams.
England remembered a few rumors that he heard. It was what brought him to this point. Something that raised his spirit, and made his heart pump faster. It didn't take much intuition on his part to immediately began to think more strategic. It was obvious the others around town began to figure out what he was looking for. England began to concentrate more. He was closer to it. England didn't have to explain anything. His movement was like a bullet. Closing in on it's target because he was that determined. England had to thank all of his friends for giving him leads, information, clues, ect. England wasn't going to give any of this to anyone! This was his dream, and he was going to have it all to himself! The situation looked as if he was checking off locations around Loguetown that he already had ran through. Which meant he was looking for something around Loguetown. Without any pause his legs began to sprint faster.
England a few minutes had began to rest against a building. Panting with his hands on his knees. Head down with his wet hair over his face. England trusted his own instincts, and that was all. Without any problem he felt something in his heart telling him to move forward. England took his hands off his knees slowly. Realizing it was time for him to make another step forward into his own fate. He was tempted to literally turn this entire ******** over! "I...……..I can't find it!!!!!!" England roared!
England always went by his own code. But, this was looking rough. England spent literally 12 hours looking for something he couldn't find.
England jumped across a building frustrated. His actual prowess beginning to show itself. England was playing the nice little boy for too long. Always standing behind his parents, and family. England clenched his fists. Literally walking across rooftops upset. England returned to his actual calm nature. He was waiting and seeing. No. England has been moving around for too long. He was getting tired. England slipped off a building. Falling off a building into an ally-way. Which meant he fell on the ground. Bleeding from head to toe. England smirked. "...…..Hehhee……...last round. But, this time... I'll bet everything...…I'll bet my life as a pirate...or at least.. I think I'm a pirate." he said. England could picture his mother making a sandwich for him.
Right before his eyes in this alleyway. Was a Large Gold Chest from rummaging.
He grinned. England dragged the Large Gold Chest across Loguetown. Without being noticed because of how dark it was.
England bumped into Harlan while holding onto the Large Gold Chest. ".....Oi, mate. Care to help your bruv'. It's friggin' strong. I mean... between you and I. Let's share this. I don't have much strength. But I can assure you. If you help me keep this Large Gold Chest. I'll bloody follow you as far as you can go mate."

Immediately he thought. This guy looks like trouble. Visibly annoyed, Harlan was much more reserve then the average sailor, he was trained to be after all. "Quite some haul you've got for yourself there." The blonde house maid would say, everything about this situation has fishy written all over it. Watching as the content of the chest spill out, gold coin would begin stumbling onto the floor. "Jesus mate, you're best off putting that thing down." Hornigold would say, ruffling his bloody apron into a ball. "This is a World Government territory, folks only do business in Beli round here. " He would say bursting the man bubble. Harlan had run into a similar problem when he first arrived within Paradise.
In an attempts to... mitigate inflation, the World Government stopped using gold as a means of currency, their paperback currency beli had superseded it as the official currency of choice, while here and there you may have some people willing to trade supplies for gold, most didn't. "Nearest bank is in Goa." The house worker would say, turning his back to the man.
He didn't expect his life to change out of the blue, that wasn't the way things were in real life. While he dreamed of going back to sea, and back to his wife. He'd settled down here, found himself a nice little job, and was beginning to save money. He wasn't about to blow that for some stranger promising wealth and fortune.
"Where you from? If you don't mind me asking?"
However curiosity got the best of Harlan, as it usually did.╄━ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - █ ❝ location, ── Lougetown; East Blue [tab][tab]█ ❝ company, ── Alone [tab][tab]█ ❝ thoughts, ── "I need a drink."

"Bloody hell~" England slipping memories in his head for his time here in Loguetown. You see, England has grown up in the East Blue, in this very town. He's never once seen Harlen before. Which meant Harlen wasn't a local. Still this new person Harlen might of stayed here for some time. And not only that Harlen had let England know that he was strong-willed. And that he couldn't be swayed with wealth that easily. England placed the Large Gold Chest down. Placing his foot over it stating that it was his. England wasn't known to get into much trouble. Since these were the first few days he was deciding to become a pirate. "This weather is shitty, isn't it? It's always raining here in Loguetown." England said. Placing both hands in his waist.
It depended on who he was talking to usually. However, England could tell this blonde was actually someone of character. England still had the bad taste of that Devil Fruit he ate hours ago. "In other words, you don't want some of the gold, I'd offer. Man you're a little too stiff. I'll vouch for your sternness, for as long as we're acquaintances. This place Loguetown. I won't be here for too much longer. You see? I'm interested in sailing the sea's. Leaving this place in search for power, strength, and adventure. You get what I'm saying, right? I am leaving this place to become a pirate. I just stumbled upon this Large Treasure Chest." he said.
England smirked. "I guess what I'm saying is. If you want to live in a man's world you gotta be as strong as one." he said. "I heard there's some real amazing places in this world. I want to bet that I have the strength.. no the power to challenge anything this world has to offer." It was a good time to get this off his chest. While talking to Harlen, Harlen did seem to be intimidating. Also, Harlen wasn't wearing any clothing belonging to government official.
England was talking only loud enough for both Harlen and himself to hear him talk. England straightened up his own posture. Placing both his hands in his pocket. "My name is England. Nice to meet you mate. I've lived in this Loguetown for seventeen bloody years. Ever since I was born a wee-lad." England had spiky black hair, tall he was 7"0' tall. England appeared to be from the Longleg tribe of race. He wore an oversized coat that gave him a ridiculous tough appearance. However, England's red eyes possessed a fierce storm of development. You could never be sure what he was capable of. Even for his young age. People were shopping, and dining all around them. Loguetown was still a very occupied town. England was definitely working on transcending his status in this world. One way or another to become a pirate. England focused his eye on possible intelligible words emerging from the blonde in front of him. England smiled showing that he wasn't an enemy. Giving Harlen a warmer expression instead of showing aggression. What England was saying was that he was going to risk his life. On becoming a powerful individual in this world.

"Aah, so you're a young adventurer." Smirking at the man, Hornigold would place his palms toward the air, droplets of water falling onto him, the rain would intensify, or so it would seem.
"Are you a drinker mate?" He would say, picking up a few gold pieces that England had dropped. "There's a few places you can spend your gold at, Let's go see old man Raul." Hornigold would say, pulling the apron from his chest. He'd take his chances on adventure once more.
Wasn't much choice either, Lougetown was the last stop for the Grandline, if you had enough money to go by train, Bandit may rob you. Enough balls to sail, Sea Kings may devour you, and enough brains to fly, the stormwinds would maroon you. Harlan knew that he'd need help if he was going to get back home. Leading the way, the 2 men would walk off into the street of Lougetown...
