Hey everyone! With the new games and the new year, we've got a few updates we're putting out here for y'all!
New Ultra Beasts and Dimensional Shard Opportunities
There are a few matters that need to be addressed, but first, we have some new Ultra Beasts! As a result, we've adjusted a few ways to obtain Dimensional Shards. These are:
- Obtain six consecutive badges in another region, go to Route 1 and show them to Kukui [Note: can only be done once with each region, meaning only 6 total Dimension Shards can be obtained through this particular method ] -
- Obtain a Beginner, Deuce, Tre, Quaro, or Cin Ribbon and show them to a woman curious about ribbons from other regions [Note: can only be done once, meaning only 1 can be obtained through this particular method ] -
- Obtain a Beginner, Deuce, Tre, Quaro, and Cin Ribbon from the same contest type, go to Hau'oli City Hall, and show them to a woman curious about ribbons from other regions [Note: each time yields two star shards. Can be done once for each contest type, meaning 10 can be obtained through this particular method ]
The UBs have each been given a location, too, with Poipole being found in Royal Avenue on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday between 12PM and 12AM, blacephalon can be encountered in the Poni Plains on Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7AM till 7PM EST, and Stakataka can be found in the Poni Grove on Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 7PM and 7AM EST.
New Moves
Fire Type:
~Mind Blown: 150 - User loses half of its maximum HP.
Psychic Type:
Photon Geyser: 100 - Compares the user's Attack and Special Attack stats, dealing damage to the target using the higher stat. 80 - Compares the user's Attack and Special Attack stats, dealing damage to the target using the higher stat.
Electric Type:
Plasma Fists: 100 - Using this move changes the user's Normal-type moves to Electric-type moves. Plasma Fists: 80 - Using this move changes the user's Normal-type moves to Electric-type moves for 5 rounds.
Ability Updates
The new UB's "Proficient Stats" have been added to Beast Boost: Poipole and Naganadel - Sp. Attack, Stakataka - Defense, Blacephalon - Sp. Attack
New Form Changes
Rockruff's new evolution has been added to the rules. In order to evolve to Dusk Form, it simply needs to have the ability Own Tempo, and evolve at dusk, RP time. Because this is a new ability for Rockruff, anyone in the guild who has a rockruff or Lycanrock may post here and mention that they are changing their rockruff's ability.
As many are likely aware, the legendary Necrozma has multiple forms now. In order to change to Dusk Mane form, the pokemon must encounter a Solgaleo while holding a
N-Solarizer. To change to the Dawn Wings form, it must encounter a Lunala while holding an N-Lunarizer. Both of these new items can be found by posting in Mount Lanakila (cost: 30 posts). In order to have Necrozma change into it's Ultra Form, a Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma must be given and hold Ultranecrozium Z.Z-Crystals

Kommonium Z: Once per battle, a Kommo-o with the move Clanging Scales may instead use ~Clangorous Soulblaze: 185 - Increases the user's Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed stats by one stage each. To Obtain: 30 posts in Plains Grotto of Poni Plains Lunalium Z: Once per battle, a Lunala or Dawn Wings Necrosma with the move Moongeist Beam may instead use Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom: 200 - Ignores target's ability To Obtain: Event Item Lycanium Z: Once per battle, a Lycanrock with the move Stone Edge may instead use •Splintered Stormshards: 190 To Obtain: 30 Posts in Malie City
Mimikium Z: Once per battle, a Mimikyu with the move Play Rough may instead use •Let's Snuggle Forever: 190 To Obtain: 30 Posts in Abandoned Thrifty Megamart Solganium Z: Once per battle, a Solgaleo or Dusk Mane Necrozma with the move Sunsteel Strike may instead use •Searing Sunraze Smash: 200 - Ignores Target's ability To Obtain: Event Item Ultranecrozium Z: Transforms Dawn Wings or Dusk Mane Necrozma into Ultra Necrosma. Once per battle, an Ultra Necrozma with the move Photon Geyser may instead use Light That Burns the Sky: 200 - Compares the user's Attack and Special Attack stats, dealing damage to the target using the higher stat. Ignores the target's Ability. To Obtain: Event Item New Legendary Pokemon
Zeraora has been added to the Minor Legendary list.
