The Lunar and Solar pacts have been about since the start of sentience in Shifters. Wolves began to follow certain alphas, with certain motives, and certain abilities. It wasn't long in their journey that wolves began to realize which faction was going to war, and which cared about survival to the point of putting their lives on the line. The Lunar pact were those of the latter, understanding that the hatred cursed to them was understood yet still hated. To perhaps help ease the minds of those around them, they chose to join the force of the RHO and humans. Working together for a common goal to win over their enemy.
The Solar faction did not take it lightly. They were always against the Lunar, but for them to turn their backs on their own kin... In exchange for their brothers' betrayal, the Solar faction have tried to stop all progress the RHO has sought for. Though they cannot communicate, and thus work with the werewolves, those of the Solar pact still do the good work and sabotage any trading lines, missions, and recruitment efforts of the organization. They have been known to kill members of RHO as well, seeming to be uncaring of the murder of innocent souls and the like. They are cowards to some, and messiahs to others, but whatever they are called: they do not hold their ideals lightly.
