Conclusion:→ Need to reassign management to be more evenly distributed

→ Need to reassess general crew/VC duties to be sure those are being done
→ Figure out who I was on clean up crew so that can get underway (prolly through porg!vi at it since it's a slower project)
→ Need to figure out how maintenancing works for Essy's areas tbph
→ Also need to rework job apps to be more streamlined between shops/entrepreneur nonsense

→ Essy has all these weird odd jobs????? idk what to do about this yet. Daily Prophet and Rumors are now 'News'. Essy is the News Manager. Yay for her.
→ Books/Textbooks are going to fall under clean up now. Some of them have been incomplete for ages. Time to toss 'em.
→ Basically any area that needs little to no regular work/does not require constant accepting of requests but has a ton of old threads will fall under clean up now.

I've tried to even out assignments a little better and also placed people where I think they will do the best work. If you have any questions, please contact me!
xxxX Profile CheckingxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxDue to the high volume of profiles and limited crew members, profile checking will now be considered a general crew task. This includes both Family Profiles, and Magical Creatures. This means that, if you are on crew, it is expected that you will be involved in this work. This includes Vice Captains! If you have not already read the guides on how to check profiles, please do so, and try to check the subforums once a week at least.

xxxX Guild Clean-UpxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAs we all know, the guild has gotten a little messy in the last couple of years. Starting now, we will have an official 'clean up crew', members assigned specifically to going through the guild and correcting these issues. Responsibilities include:
xxx- Updating outdated/incorrect information. If an informative thread is giving the wrong information, it should be corrected or removed.
xxx- Streamlining. The guild has a lot of redundant threads/duplicate information sources. Unnecessary threads should be removed, and in any case where information can be compiled in a master thread, it should be.
xxx- Fixing broken image links. We all know what Photobucket did, this goes pretty much without saying.
xxx- Removing and archiving* old threads. This mostly applies to the OOC areas of the guild. Old questions in the help subforum, shops or giveaways posted by old members, etc, can all be deleted. If anything seems like it might come in handy, it should be archived* for later access.

xxxX Plot RequestsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxPlots are what make the guild interesting! That said, we do want to be a little mindful of them to prevent things from getting too crazy. Responsibilities include:

xxx- Keeping an eye out for anything questionable or concerning
xxx- Helping members with plotholes fill those holes and implement their plots when possible

xxxX * What's all of this about 'archiving'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThere has been a constant struggle in the guild to both keep roleplay areas clean and easy to navigate, and to keep track of all our old favorite scenes and locations. As a way of fixing this, I'm going to go through the guild and post archive threads in key areas, such as the private homes and shopping subforums. Whenever a thread is removed from any of these subforums, a link to the thread will be added to the archive, preferably with a small descriptor for people who want to find it (such as, "The Magical Menagerie - owned by Siobhan Edgeworth" to differentiate between multiple incarnations of the same shop). This way, people can still stalk all their favorite old scenes, even when the thread it took place in is outdated and needs to be cleared out.

- Read PMs sent by members. Reply or forward as necessary
- Read any new announcements
- Look over common posting areas for any misuse (e.g. OOC subforums, roleplay areas, etc.)
- Update Weather for the week (if it’s been updated that week, skip this. Always check). Update every Wednesday.
- Check WH for questions and answer them. Make sure to change the title to (A) if you know the question got resolved.
- Bump the recruitment thread (we will be posting a new one of these shortly)
- Add to FAQ thread
