Excitement ran through nerves as she stood on the tournament ground in a field, this was the first time she had participated in anything that involved a spar and a crowd watching. It was almost like being under pressure, if that pressure was not making a total fool of herself of tripping over her weapon or so forth. Eerikki on the other hand just snorted and had mentioned something about her becoming possible worm food if she didn’t at least stand her ground.

“Hey!” Waving to the unfamiliar hunter that was to be her opponent she offered up a friendly battle as the voice in her head reminded her that it was competition, and to win.

Gabby made her way to the appointed place for her first round of the tournament, wondering along the way what could have possible possessed her to think that it's be "fun" or anything like that. She liked people, but had always been more of a one-on-one type of person, so a crowd watching her spar? Not something she would normally find fun. Still, as her opponent greeted her upon her arrival she couldn't help but feel the boost in her mood--at least she was friendly, even if it was a competition.

"Hey!" she greeted in return as she summoned Sen, a katana soon materializing into her hand. "I know it's a tourney and all, but I'm Gabby! Good luck!"
