 Carlie looked over her shoulder once more, checking that her caretaker was well out of sight. It was hard for her to get any privacy here at the academy which had lead to her being sneakier. She heard the voice of her caretaker calling her name and ducked behind a corner. Peeking her head around for a moment. Once her caretaker had gone back in the dorms to look for her Carlie gave a sigh of relief and slunk down creeping along the wall on the back side of the dorms. She looked for a first-floor dorm room with an open window. Once finding one she popped her head up. "Empty" or so she thought. She scrambled through the open window her tiny feet scrapping up on the wall but finally catching traction and pushing herself into the window. Once inside she padded over to the desk to see if she could quickly identify who's room she may be in.

 Jess ears shifted at the noise coming from the back of her room. Her nose wrinkled, irritated at the odd noise as she padded over slowly. She was careful to keep quiet and out of sight and there was someone sneaking in her room. How very rude! She grabbed one of the enchanted cotton balls of fake snow from the bucket from the last large school event, the spell chilled her hands and Jess heft it up, ready to throw it. "Hey, you better tell me what you want or you going to get a face full of fake snow!" She hissed, puffing up her fur to look big. wc 109

"Oh no" Carlie hissed under her breath. Taking a deep sigh he put her hands abover her head "DON'T SHOOT, I'm just hiding from Griselda." She perked up on her tiptoes trying to look big but being half fey she was admittedly very small. "okay okay, I'm not going to lie. I was gonna rob the place." She hung her head as if to denote shame. While she did this she took one small step back toward the window.

"Why shouldn't I... you invaded my room," Jess snapped, bristled more, wavering between listening because she didn’t want to bringing the caretakers into her room! She got in enough trouble by herself, she didn't need...need this trouble maker adding onto her punishment. But she was in her room, planning to poke through her things, maybe even take them! "..."
"AUGH!" Jess screeched and lobbed one of the plush snowballs at Carlie. "You are a bad liar or something!" She was just so confused and irritated and whatever the bright purple kid was, they were not welcome in her room. They should just get out! Out! Out.

Carlies eyes widen as a snowball goes flying her way. It hits her side as she attempts to get out of the way, it then plops to the ground next to her. "Dude, Chill. If you keep screaming you are going to give my position away. AND if you don't want a bunch of adults in here checking things out you need to be cool. Got it?" she held her hands out in front of her trying to de-escalate the situation. "I'm Carlie. See now were friends right?"

Jess huffed, aborting her move to get more ammo. Her hands were cold anyways. She was still puffed up as big as she could get to look ferocious! Her tails poofed behind her, bristle like. "Doubt you mean it," She grouched reaching out to slap the hand away... "But I don't need adults in here either." Her eyes want half lidded, and she grumbled slightly.
"I'm Jess." Because at least they seemed to be trying now. Even if it was to keep themselves out of trouble, and that she could understand. Jess didn’t like being in trouble either. Or the caretakers.

Carlie let out a deep sigh. Half relaxing a bit, she hadn't expected the other to calm down any. "I didn't know you were in here, if that makes you feel any better Jess." She put a small hand on the back of her head shaking it slightly. She looked around saying back and forth on her heels. "Not anything good to steal in here anyway.... uh I mean nice place you have here."

Jess snorted, loud in disbelief and hopped on her chair, dark eyes not leaving the child...what were they anyways. Maybe another hallow? Hybrid probably? She smoothed her tails, trying to get the fur to lie flat. “I’m at lost how you think that would make me feel better? Probably be easier for you to steal things, you little thief.” They had even admitted to being a thief! “Pretty sure it looks about like everyone else’s place,” she added bored and staring at the fellow freshling and finally broke down. “What the heck are you.” Jess thought they might be chimera but the wings were matching. wc 106
