In the dark of the night, Kei thought would be the best time to hunt some pretty good prey, Having caught the send of a pretty heafy bird he leaps into action tearing through the vast waves of trees and bushes as he bounds through ravens forest.
On chanse he pounces at the creature only to miss and roll down a small embankment, landing rather awkwardly. Rolling over he gets up and gives a vigorous shake “How… did i miss it.. Oh right, It is because i was just so dazzling i blinded the creature and it had to shield itself against me somehow. Well i will try again” After he asses his location from where he landed kei gives a good look around and being sure he shook all the dirt from himself. After retracing his steps he caught the sent and tracks of the large bird, and creeps after it using his coat as camouflage and his speed to move around semi undetected. After snaps here and there, until he finally has the beast back in sight.
“ALRIGHT!!” As he gets too excited the bird Dart away fleeing for it’s life, as kei Signs and gives chase yet again “I MEANT TO DO THAT … i did …” He takes a deep breath and lunges over fallen logs. It is a good job he has alot of stamina else he would always be hungry.

He needed to eat. He needed to...do something...but it was hard to wrap his head around what. The scar might have been cleaned up, but the wound beneath it still hurt worse than anything Kolinnos could have imagined - or so he assumed. Not being able to remember anything meant that he was never quite sure.

Food, though. The roaring in his belly meant that food was one thing Koli was sure of. He moved forward on hesitant paws, and shaking feet. His nose told him too many things: that something delicious was nearby, that something threatening lurked just out of reach. There were signs and scents that he should remember, but couldn't, no matter how he tried. Confused as he was, tasty won out, and the male followed his nose blindly into the night.

He stalked low to the ground, ears back. Maybe once upon a time, it had been because he was a good hunter. Some might even say it was instinct coming back to him. Really, it was purely out of fear; the night was dark and unknown to him, his nose told him lies and half-truths. The path was uncertain and it would have been too easy for him to lose his way. Koli stalked after the smell of something that set his tummy rumbling because he had to in order to survive.

If only that drive wasn't so strong within him, he might well have laid back down where he found himself. Life, if this was all he had to look forward to, was entirely too difficult. Better for him that he stretch his paws out and surrender.

His stomach had other ideas, though. It wasn't too long before - by sheer chance - the wolf stumbled across the scent that had so attracted him. A fat bird, somewhat disfigured, streaked across his path. He might have lunged after it, if not for something else crashing over a fallen log to his left; the wolf burst out of cover so suddenly that Kolinnos jumped back with a yelp of surprise. If that weren't embarrassing enough - balance not being his thing at the moment - he promptly fell backwards onto his tail, prompting another cry. Brilliant orange eyes glared balefully at the wolf that had startled him. All he wanted was a bite to eat, man. Why did everything have to be awful?
