If you desire me to use "prettier" posts like layouts let me know! I have some layouts saved from years ago haha.

Olivia Dalton; a twenty two year old female who's life was changed a year ago when she was dragged into the war between humans and the supernatural. She had been out with Friends leaving a club for her twenty first birthday until a man sweet talked them all into coming with him to the VIP section. Olivia had a bad feeling about this man, but her friends were fawning over him in moments rushing after him. Later on she would come to find that her friends were being controlled by his words, put into a trance so what he wanted would be easier.

When they walked into the VIP section all Olivia was able to see was blood, and lifeless to barely alive bodies. Men feeding off their throats, the blood dripping down their chins. She tried to get her friends to follow her out, for them to not go into the room deeper. How did they not see this? How where they not panicking like she clearly and visibly was? Olivia tried to escape only for two other men to be blocking the exit. Hours later her friends were dead, and she was going to be next until a team of hunters broke into the nest. It was these people who took her under their wing to join them, and ever since she had trained.

A year later, Olivia was walking into a party alone, sent on a mission to find some vampires. She new in all honesty they were throwing her into a haystack to find a needle, but she didn't mind. Her training hadn't been going the best, and Olivia was contemplating quitting and running away. Jade, the leader of the group, told her that would never be allowed. If she were to escape they would have to kill her as well. She could be a threat to them, turned into a vampire one day and lead the clan to their hideout. So she stuck with them, trying and training. When they sent her on missions like this though she knew they just wanted to keep her out of the way.

She was okay with being sent out to parties, she got free drinks and felt more like a normal girl rather than someone with a target on her back to vampires. Tonight was the same as most of the other nights. She was dressed in her favorite and most functional outfit, a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and a white v neck. Her short dark brown hair was pinned back away from her face, and a bag on her hip that held her stake just in case she actually somehow stumbled upon a vampire. After about two shots of vodka and a jello shot later she was enjoying herself. There was no sign of vampires, but there never really was at a these events.

Now Olivia was walking down the hallway of the Frat house looking for a bathroom when she opened a door to one of the rooms. Inside was a bed, and a nightstand which was in view of the door. For a split moment she thought she walked into two people getting heated until she noticed the flash of blood on the girl's neck and could see the glassy gaze in her eyes. Looking around Olivia tried to find something she could use to rescue her. She had left her bag somewhere, most likely at the bar, so she didn't have her stake. She noticed pencils on a table and ran over to them grabbing them before she stood her ground.

"Get off of her!" She hissed holding the pencil in her hand her eyes locked on the vampire before her. She had never fought one alone. She actually never really fought one at all. Most of the 'vampires' she killed were dummies the group had for training uses.

I actually picked out a picture to do a post skeleton with, but it's not necessary. Lol. I can incorporate it later when I have more free time to perfect it.

Kurai was a mere twenty- three years of age when he was stumbling home from a frat party one night and made a wrong turn behind a house he wasn't familiar with. His vision was blurry as it was, and he knew it was the alcohol affecting him as the scenery around him spun. He closed blue, confused eyes for a long moment trying to steady himself as he braced himself on the bricks of the home. "Having fun, pretty boy?" A woman's voice echoed around him. "Huh?" Kurai looked up and gave a slight jump, startled by the sudden appearance of the most stunning red head he'd ever laid eyes on. "Who are you?" He asked; a mix of fear, confusion, and intrigue in his voice."The answer to your prayers, baby." She answered before sinking her teeth into his neck without another word. Kurai couldn't fathom how she'd appeared so suddenly or moved so quickly......

His Mistress had been killed by a Hunter, forcing Kurai to flee before he, too was killed. He found a quiet little town several miles away and settled in nicely. Fast forward to a year later, where the young man never seemed to grow tired of feasting on helpless coeds. It was a fun game to him, seducing them before feeding on them. Tonight's victim was a sweet little blond named Jenny, and she was absolutely delicious as far as Kurai was concerned. It wasn't long before his meal was interrupted by an uppity brunette with an agenda....and a pencil.

He tilted his head up to size her up, shaking black bangs away from crimson orbs with an almost irritated look on his face. Kurai laughed at the sight of this feisty thing "What are you gonna do with that, sweetheart?" He gestured to the pencil in her hand before crossing his arms over his grey shirt. His arms covered the Greek letters that symbolized whatever frat he was pretending to be a part of. Kurai was what the women that fell victim him referred to as 'hot'. His dark hair, (usually) clear blue eyes, and smug attitude was what they all wanted. Of course, the way his jeans hugged his a**, and the muscles in his legs down to the work boots he wore were also a bonus. "You gonna write a poem about how turned on you are?" He tilted his head the other way and ran his tongue over his right fang in a seductive manner as he waited for her to strike or flee; whichever she decided.

Okay well let me know if you want her Face Claim! :3

Olivia was clutching the pencil tight in her grip her eyes focusing on the girl with the bite marks on her neck. She was more than likely in a trance, being bitten usually did that to humans. The poison that went with it like a drug which brought humans back to them in desperate need.

All the short haired brunette was able to think up of when he asked what she planned to do with the pencil was silly, and most likely the stupidest thing she would ever say. "Write your death certificate!" she hissed. Though it sounded pretty confident, she knew she didn't look it. "Now let the girl go."She began taking a step forward clutching the pencil tightly in her hands. She knew the pencil wouldn't kill him easily, but it would distract him long enough for her to get her stake from her bag in the other room. "Before this gets ugly."

Olivia was ignoring all her training at this point, she was supposed to call for backup, especially as a newbie. She wasn't supposed to get a human involved where they could get killed. She also was supposed to just attack and hold them off until the area was clear.

Her caramel brown eyes moved from the girl up to the male on the bed. It was clear why the girl fell for him, he was quite handsome, but most vampires were. Charming and witty. It was what drew poor innocent souls in.

Hahaha. Will do, darling.

Kurai leaned back in laughter and clapped his hands together at her retort. "Hahaha! Oh, that was cute." he stated at her underwhelming attempt at a comeback. He admired the fact that she stood by it, though. She had a spunk that was both refreshing and annoying. The annoying bit was apparent when she demanded he let his food wander off. His eyes flicked to the blond on the bed, who was groaning softly as the anesthetic he'd been pumping into her body started to settle. Kurai shook his head softly. "Now why would I do that.....unless I had a better offer?" He raised a knowing eyebrow in her direction; as if he was asking the fiery human to volunteer to jump into bed with him.

He took a calculated step toward her. He could have closed the distance between them easily, but Kurai knew better than to try to deal with two bodies. He'd spook this one into running away so he could finish eating in peace, then dump Jenny's corpse somewhere undetected if everything went accordingly. If not, however, he'd be more than willing to improvise something new. Her strong heartbeat called out to him like the needle calls to the addict,
but his will had evolved. He was not a slave to his hunger like the newly turned. He was willing to wait out this woman's stand-off until it bored him or-as she put it- until it "gets ugly".

He locked his crimson eyes with her brown ones and calmly offered her a suggestion. "No one has to get hurt here, dear, Put the pencil down and walk away like you never saw us" The last few words would resonate within her mind as if it were her own thought. Kurai was honestly surprised she'd stood her ground as long as she had.

Olivia's eyes darkened a bit when he began to mock her. She had actually thought she got away with the comeback, but it seemed to have failed. She stood by the exit still, her hand gripped tight around the wooden writing tool as she tried calculating how to get the blonde free. Hearing her groan she knew that she was coming to, maybe she could buy more time until the girl ran off to her own safety.

Her eyes watched as he stood up and took two steps to her hearing how he wanted her to offer herself in place of the human. If this had been about a year ago, she would have accepted. She was always trying to be the hero but now, she knew there was another way to save someone. "How about your better offer is not being shanked in the neck hmm?" She retorted raising a brow as well staring at him.

Olivia knew that he was loving this, soaking in the anticipation of having her run off. She was better than that though. She thought maybe if her leader found out about this, she would be sent on real missions instead of frat parties. Hunting with the bigger leagues rather than heading back to base after a night of partying getting pity stares.

Like you never saw us... The words echoed in her mind, seeming to cross over her eyes as the listened to him. He was trying to trick her, but she would play along. She looked down to the pencil in her hand then set it down on the desk before taking a step back. A plan was hatching in her mind, and if she was quick enough with it she could save Jenny's life. Without another word she turned and walked out of the door, an when she was out of sight she ran towards where the bar was and snagged her purse where her stake laid. With a real weapon he would take her seriously. A silly little pencil wouldn't do anything to help her or the young girl who was in his grasp.

within two minutes, she was barging into the room again with her stake, a smirk crawling on her lips. "I warned you."She said standing her ground trying to sound threatening.

There was brief moment of confusion as Kurai noticed he may have hurt the girl's feelings. That was odd. Why would she care what he thought of her, if this was just going to end in blood? He noted the way her eyes darted over to the sleeping girl as well. A fresh smirk crept over his lips while she sassed him again.

He admired her spirit. There weren't a lot of people who could stand facing him while so poorly armed and keep their composure as long as she had. He watched her leave and shook his head. She thought she was clever, but Kurai knew what people looked like when they were truly hypnotized. He grabbed the blonde off the bed and left out the window before she returned and her words fell upon an empty room.

"This is a Hell of a lot of work just for a meal." He grumbled as he pushed Jenny against the side of the building three homes down. He sank his teeth into her once more and began drinking the sweet nectar that was her life force once more. He felt her go limp in his arms as he drained every drop of blood from her body before he discarded her empty shell in a nearby dumpster and retreated farther away from the frat house where the trouble maker resided.

Olivia's eyes stared at the empty room where they had once been, the stake falling beside her. Her chance at proving herself having jumped out the window. With a sigh she picked the stake up and went to the window staring out of it looking around before shutting and locking it.

She should have known he would run. Instead she was more focused on being clever and trying to prove she was capable of being respected.

As the night went on, she kept a look out for him, before it was time to return to the base. She wouldn't tell the leader what encountered that night, if she did she would be stuck on cleaning duty. She had fought to prove she was worth more than disposing corpses. It was only just recently she got the rotten flesh smell out of her clothes.

With her short hair pulled up into a sight bun she pulled her leather jacket on and headed out into the brisk air.

Kurai slept in a coffin in the basement of a condemned area and when he woke to hunt the next night, he'd typically go back to the college. However, knowing the hunter was in the area it would be foolish to go back to that part of town. Instead, he went in the other direction, hoping to find some unlucky b*****d had left the window open in their apartment. If he couldn't find a person before it got too late, he'd have to hunt down a squirrel or some other unsuspecting creature.

Kurai's mind wandered back to the night before, where he'd encountered an attractive and spunky woman, who thought she stood a chance against the obviously more experienced opponent. He thought about how his words of torment would typically be overlooked by both victim and foe alike, but they'd seemed to strike a chord with her. He thought about her so much, that he actually ended up back at the campus!

He internally scolded himself for allowing such a thing to happen, but he assured himself everything would be fine. He found his way to the nearest and loudest party to blend in with the crowd until he found someone to spend the night with.....

I start classes up again tomorrow... at least this semester doesn't start with Math lol.

After getting home late after the party, she returned to the base letting the captain know there were no signs of any Vampires. As she guessed he trusted her since Olivia never got caught up with one before. It was a valid story. The brunette showered and went to bed, her mind racing about the vampire.

The next night she was assigned to another house party, and this time she would be prepared. She wore her black slit skirt and a garter underneath for her stake, Bamboo cuffs also hid there to keep the vampire locked as she wanted to question him as to where he disposed of Jenny. She knew at this point the young naive blonde was more than likely dead, so she wanted to inform the police like protocol and have them notify the parents if any.
With the skirt she matched it with a black crop top, and some makeup so it seemed like she was dressing to impress rather than dressing to hide the fact she held weapons under her skirt. Her coffee brown eyes scanning the streets as she walked. She hoped he would be there again, she hoped that this time she could head back to base with a leather sack rather than empty handed. She had gotten so close yesterday, today she would succeed.

At the party she moved into the crowds smoothly, a red solo cup some how finding its way into her hand as she swayed to the music, every fiber of her being on high alert. Or well high alert until she had been there for an hour and had three glasses of beer in her. Now she was sitting outside by the pool area, her fourth cup beside her as she just enjoyed the cool breeze through her hair.

She wasn't cut out for this. She never wanted to be a hunter, to be sucked into this life. It just happened because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now she was stuck in hopes of finding a way out.

That's fine. We'll be driving across a few states for a convention this weekend so after tonight my posting will be a bit sporadic.

Kurai had a light snack on a very attractive coed with hair almost as dark as his own. She was entranced enough to follow him around the party. It wasn't long after meandering out into the cool night air that he caught sight of the little huntress from the night before. Kurai sat across from her and smirked. "Hello again." Kurai held up a hand as he watched her tense up "Awful lot of people out here to witness someone attack another, more innocent someone." He stated smoothly as he smiled wide, revealing he'd already tucked his fangs away for the time being. "I just want to talk." he admitted calmly to her. She seemed to relax a little more, understanding that if she tried to attack him with this many witnesses, it wouldn't work out in her favor.

Kurai ran fingers through his bangs before sizing her up with his piercing blue eyes. "These idiots" he stated, waving a hand at the people around them; who were girating against each other, drinking, and loudly playing pool games that involved a lot of splashing "I understand." he finished, dropping his hand to rest on the table in between them "But you, I don't" he admitted. "There's something about you that doesn't quite add up. I've met quite a few hunters in my day, each with an ax to grind..... but you seem more like you're going through the motions. Why is that?" he asked curiously as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. "What's missing, dear? Do you really believe killing me is going to fill that void?" He asked her softly. He knew no one else was paying much attention to them but better safe than sorry.

Oooh! have fun at your convention! Also, please don't god mod. Olivia is hot headed, and yeah there are many witnesses, but she wouldn't mind fighting him. She isn't much of a talker like you made her out to be. Just a lil heads up! It kinda puts a restraint on what my character would naturally do.

Olivia was taken aback by the Vampire coming out of nowhere, her hand instantly going to her leg where the stake was. "You b*****d! What did you do to Jenny?" She hissed glancing around at the people. She didn't care that there were witnesses, most of them too drunk to notice anything out of the ordinary. She did care though that this man could kill them and she would be the reason behind it. Instead she moved her hand off the stake and sat back a good distance from him.

Her brown eyes were staring at him angrily as he spoke. She didn't understand why he cared so much, and she had no reason to tell him. "That is none of your business, instead how about you tell me where you disposed of the blonde last night, and we will call it even for now. Her parents deserve a right to know that she is dead."

Ahh there she went, caring more about a dead person than she did with herself. More than explaining why she didn't care for hunting like others. Maybe now he thought of her as a horrible hunter, that she was just terrible at her job. It wouldn't be a lie. She had a heart that other hunters seemed to lack. Especially Ricky, her leader. He was the one who got her into this whole mess, and the reason she wasn't allowed to leave now.

Her eyes moved up to the dazed girl standing behind the vampire, her heart tearing a bit at the bite wounds on her neck. Without warning she leapt over the table to the girl and grabbed her by the arm pulling her away from Kurai and behind her back. Her brown eyes darkened a bit as she shot a look to the vampire. "Just want to talk huh." She muttered looking over the entranced girl again.
