History
Emilia Elric was born into the Elric Clan during the summer solstice. This granted her a fiery stubbornness and a bright personality. Her family was startled to see her "split" appearance, two different hair colors and eye colors, born with natural heterochromia. Her father was a State Alchemist in her clan and her mother studied herbology as a nurse assistant. Em also had an older brother who was a delinquent of sorts, getting into mischief often. Despite the fact he was always kind to his little sister and stood up for her. Her home life was good and she had above average people skills. Emilia enjoys making others smile and bringing light to those in the darkness. Though her curiosity has gotten her into quite a bit of trouble. At a young age she took fascination with the windmills and had a tragic accident. Her arms got trapped in one of the revolving blades and it was torn off at the elbow joint. Thankfully others were nearby at the time and saved her life, but there was nothing they could do to fix an injury of that caliber. For seven years Em has lived with one arm and has gotten used to the disability, seeing it as a way to keep herself levelheaded. At the age of ten she began to dabble and awaken her kekkai genkai. The feats that were accomplished with such a parlor trick was a lot of fun. Applying her teachings to the kekkai genkai made for even more techniques to become available. At twelve years old sh received her license so she could continue to use it legally. She wished to join the military ranks but because of her disability she was denied. Emilia was heartbroken at the fact since she hated being seen as a liability or weak. Once she turned 15, worse new struck her, while in a battle her brother had gone missing. Her family was close and losing someone who believed in her so much caused a lot of pain. Em blames herself for her brother leaving since she always had him there to stick up for her, maybe that burden had weighed down on him for too long. Shortly after, in the dark of night, she also ran from her clan. She had learned all she could without joining the military and she had to figure out, including the mystery of why her brother disappeared. So she became a wanderer, her first target, Unity. Someone had to have seen him there, it's one of the only places there were aside from the many bandit colonies. Emilia plans to return to her family after finding her brother and writes her family often to tell of her journeys.
