Training. Training, training, training.Cassie's glaring incompetence with the kyoketsu-shoge was becoming even more obvious these days, and the migraines Tendaji gave her as a reward for failure were becoming more severe. Frankly, Cassie had had enough. A slash on the dummy here, she pulled the rope and scored another series of cuts along the thing. A stable target was fine, as Cassie could control every aspect of that fight. Moving targets? Far less luck. She had been going at the dummy for an hour now, and finally sat on a nearby hay bale, sipping water.

Dottie was a woman on a mission, one that involved a bit, or possibly a lot, of pain and sweat. She was determined to not spend her morning wailing on some stupid-a** dummy, this time stopping to sweep her narrowed gaze across the training field, in search of willing victim volunteer to join her in a bit of fun. "You." Her gaze stopped, having landed on a woman who was sitting down, "Hey." She greeted, and began to approach, a smirk tugging on her lips, eyes bright. "Want to fight?"

Hell no did Cassie want to fight. She gave the other woman, rather attractive, pink hair, built like a god damned rock, a sweeping, stern look, but got up from the hay bale anyway. "If you insist?" She rolled her shoulders, taking a deep breath. Tendaji oozed into existence in her hands, the long leather stand coiled in her hands, bat blade dangling in front of her. "You'd make better practice than one of these dummies."

"I think I do." She said, though she eyed the weapon that appeared in her now-opponent's hands, a pink dyed eyebrow arching. "The ******** is that thing?" She asked, having never encountered a weapon like it before. "Looks like something batman would have on his utility belt." Weird. She then looked back up at the girl in front of her, now taking her in fully as she hadn't bothered to do before. She was...well, cute was a word, but it was one that Dottie pushed quickly from mind, instead focusing on a the other woman's figure, and her stance. She looked like a total pushover. This was going to be great. Katana appeared in hand, and Dottie swung it up and to the ready. "Well." She smirked with just the slightest upward quirking of her lips. "Why don't you show me what you've got?"

Cassie smirked at pink head's comments about Tendaji, while the weapon just glowered. He hated being compared to that stupid, pajama wearing fool that the stupid child seemed to worship. Honestly, who in their right mind dresses as a bat and goes around in the night beating up petty criminals? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Tendaji was always confusing to people, especially Cassie, and when Cassie tried to show the other Huntress what she had, the blade simply ended up soaring over the pink hair, maybe grazing a few ends off, and landing behind the other woman. "s**t." HP: 40 DMG: 0 CHG: 0/3

Dottie just sort of watched as the weird bat shaped thing flew over her head, sailing off behind her. She had some concern that this was a trick of some kind, and made sure to side step when she moved in herself with her katana held at the ready, just in case it was suddenly going to come flying back up at her from behind. She had to get quite a bit closer to attack than her opponent had the advantage of, so when Cassie was within range, she struck, a quick flick of the wrist and a swipe of the sword towards her shoulder. HP: 40 Damage: 3 Charge: 1/3

Cassie wasn't dumb, but she was a bit spacey - and in her haste to recover from the awkward missed blow, the Death trainee sort of forgot to defend herself from any upcoming attack. When Dottie struck, Cassie yelped more in surprise than pain, and she stumbled backward to catch herself. This wasn't going to go very well... HP: 37 DMG: 0 CHG: 0/3
