Yasashii's Adoption Event!
Not everyone has a family. Around this cold December there seems to be a surplus of kits without a home, and many have wandered onto Yasashii lands. While the tribe would love to welcome the children, their Elder has come up with an idea to help those seeking a child to add to their family.
Kithara has invited foxes from all walks of life to come to Yasashii lands and request to meet the kits up for adoption. It doesn't matter if you're in another tribe, part of Yasashii, or tribeless; everyone is welcomed! However, the kits can't just go to anyone! The carers of Yasashii will be selecting parents based on who gets along with which kit best to ensure everyone is happy in the end!
Some come on by and give a kit a happy home for Christmas!

Throughout this event, entries will be edited if selected and a mystery kit will be dropped into the post, plus we'll quote you to get your attention! The kit should remain raised by the parent(s) you've selected.

Why They Want a Kid: He’s lonely there was a mass drop in the tribe number recently so those he could speak with and those who have been close to him for a long time have gone away. He hope to bring some life back into those who are still in Solarie. (I don’t know if the kit can be marked with a tribe from here or not and I don’t think I can have it join seeing as the tribe owner is MIA. But the kit will still be raised with Lethe and he will grow up with love of the sun)
Meeting: Lethe had ventured from the tribe lands to this meeting but honestly didn’t expect to much. With the leaving of so many members of the tribe he had felt a gap in his life. He thought he might find a family member here to talk to or perhaps even an old Solarie member to speak with for a bit. He found a nice patch of sunlight and he decided to curl up and rest after his long trip. Soon he was snoring softly and he never even heard the soft padding paws of a kit coming closer.
When Lethe woke he felt something warm and small next to him. Turning his head and taking a glance he saw a little kit snuggled up next to him dozing in the light of the sun. He wanted to move and stretch as his legs had gone numb from how he had been sleeping. Still he did nothing, the last thing he wanted to do was to disturb the enjoyment the little sleeping kit that was soaking up the warm and gentle light of the sun while the weather around them started to take on the chill that told Lethe the weather would not reveal the sun’s gentle kiss of warmth for much longer. It was best to let the kit enjoy it while he was able.

Why They Want a Kid: With her mate missing yet again and their daughters off living their own lives, Krysten is lonely. She has some family around, sure! And one of her daughters occasionally visits with her own mate and Krys' granddaughter, which is fantastic! But things are still quiet for her. Too quiet. Giving a kit a home, much like her own adoptive father and mother did years ago, would probably help put a little pep in her step.
Meeting:
Unlike some of the other adults visiting, Krysten… had a look of uncertainty on her face, excitement nowhere to be found. She had been excited at first, hearing about this unique event and the prospect of adopting a kit. Her mate was nowhere to be found, she was the mother of three daughters, and she was awfully lonely nowadays. How hard could raising another kid be? So off Krys’ went to Yasashii lands, her intentions good. But now that she was actually here, among all of the chaperones and kits? Now she was nervous.
Maybe this was a bad idea. Maybe she should quietly leave. Maybe this was a terrible idea. Maybe she should just continue on with the dull routine she had fallen into. Maybe –
She suddenly heard a cry, and just like that, Krys’ was off. It took only a moment to find the source, a fallen kit surrounded by a few playmates. “Hello there.” She greeted as she approached, some of the kits stepping to the side to allow her into the little circle around their injured friend. “Are you alright, sweetheart?” The injured youngster only let out a whine, and with that answer, Krysten turned to address the rest of the kits. “Can I have a moment with them? They’ll meet up with you in a minute, I promise.”
Once the kits had scattered – probably off to resume playing – Krysten laid down next to the sniffling kit, tail loosely curling around them. “That was quite the tumble you took, little one.” She gave a tilt of her head, looking over the child. “But…” And then another head tilt. It didn’t look like they had any cuts or scrapes, which was good! “I think you’ll be alright. You seem to be very tough, hm?…” Yet again, no reply…? Wait. Wait a moment. Noticing that the kit’s crying had completely hushed, she raised a brow. She hadn’t done much at all, why were they so quiet all of a sudden?
And then she felt a tiny paw against her tail, eagerly swatting at the faded tribe tattoo she had. Krys’ smiled, lowering her head to meet their gaze. “My, what a quick recovery!”

Why They Want a Kid: Zen misses the joy of being around others, especially kits. Yes, she can always go visit siblings and aunts/uncles, but she wants to know if it feels the same with a child to raise on her own.
Meeting: Zen wasn't sure what she was going to walk into, exactly. She expected a lot of playing and noise. And it was! Oh watching the chaperones trying to keep the kits here and there, while the kits just rushed around. As she stood there, the 'phim noticed one who seemed to just move away from their carer, just to get some alone time.
Looking around, Zen walked over to the little one. "Hello, sweetling." She settled down, nearby to watch what the little one would do and see what the others were doing. The little one looked at Zen, but moved away at first, not wanting to be told where or who to to go. As they moved away, they noticed the 'phim didn't keep talking, but watched instead.
Curiosity got to the kit, as they noticed the adult was calmly watching all of them. Wondering how much they could do, the kit stalked the feathers and mane of Zen, both moving a bit in the wind. Zen sat as quietly as she could, noticing the kit seemed to want to play, as the only kit. Smiling, she waited to see what was going to entice the youngster the most, hoping it was her hair and not the wings.
The kit moved with the grace of a kit and stumbled into 'phims feathers. It hurt a bit as a couple of feathers did get pulled and moved, but Zen rolled with it and tickled the little one with her tail. "Well, you are a brave and cautious one, aren't you? Want some help in landing where you want to?" The little one let out a squeak and a yawn, making Zen chuckle. "Or we can rest here and watch the others?" The kit moved to the front of Zen's chest, with a little head resting on the older ones paws, soon snoring.

Why They Want a Kid: She has been desperately trying to have kits with her mate but hasn't been having much luck.
Meeting: Veiyathin usually walks with more pride in her stride but today she wanted to make a good impression. She had no idea what she was in for but was excited nonetheless! She made her way to the Yasashii tribe lands and was warmly greeted by some of the care takers. Though she was sure gave her some odd looks from her garb.
She sat off to the side and watch some others hopeful adopters. Some of the kits were rather to go and play. Some did avoid her. Accept for one. They were hiding behind a care taker. They were casting glances at her then quickly looked away when they made eye contact. Vei felt a little pang in her heart. She knew that little ping all to well. She got up and got closer and smiled. "Hello there." She smiled softly, it wasn't a smile she wore often. She frowned when the kit shied away more. "I came all this way to see you and you want to hide?" The kit look back to her then got a little closer. "I may be big but I'm not all that scary." She shuffled and curled herself to make a spot for the kit. "Why not come over here? We can watch everyone together." that actually enticed the kit to join her and she could't be happier. She popped up her wings to provide a little shade for the kit and they watched to others play. She even encouraged them to go play with others and marked it a win her here "mom book" when they got up to play. Maybe she would be rather good at doing this

Why They Want a Kid: 2 reasons
1)she wants someone to be able to give her love to, and both her friends and family feel like having a child might help her out.
2) She feels this could help improve inter-tribal relations.
Meeting: Ross sighed, Why was she here,alone? she was not the best at first impressions. In fact she was horrible at them. But this was what her father, Shugo and the Elder had suggested she do. She was nervous and it obviously showed. She looked from from side to side. "Alright Ross you can show enough confidence around others of your own age, children shouldn't be much different." she assured herself, as some of the kits ran across her feet chasing one another. Ross Jerked, trying to avoid her usual response of telling the children to be careful, or to stop being so reckless. these Kits are just enjoying some time to play with their friends. there was nothing wrong with that.
Ross sighed, before noticing that one of the children was still in front of her staring. A long moment of staring occurred between her and the Kit before she decided to speak. "Hello little one." she said calmly. "you seem like your having fun with your friends, so please don't let me being here get in your way, go ahead have fun its good for you at your age." Another Long awkward silence between the two before she looked over at the other kits. They seemed like they were not being very nice to this one. She didt know if It was something the kit had done to offend them, or if they just plain didnt like this child, however she knew the looks. With a sigh she lied down bringing her head down to the kits level."If you have problems, go ahead and tell me all about them, Im here to listen." she said in as kind of a tone as she could.
