Atlas's dorms are very different from those of the other academies. Rather than having traditional dorm rooms, Atlas Academy's dorms are referred to as "The Barricks" and are much smaller in size than normal dorm rooms. They contain enough room for two bunk beds, two desks, and one bookshelf. There is space underneath the bottom bed for personal chests, and enough room to put at least two dressers in the room. Other than that, there is not much space to them. Additionally, they each contain only one window in the center of the room. Each room is uniform and is simply meant to be for sleeping. Students are expected to mostly be either training or in class when not sleeping, and as such the rooms reflect this philosophy.

spaceMorgan chuckled a bit over Ariana's dismissal of her apologies and the following joke in response to her own. The blonde watched as the other girl wiped at her face, then nodded at her suggestion to head inside, "Oh, we don't need you getting sick. I think the Barracks are..." Morgan looked around for a few seconds before settling on a direction, "this way, to my right. Come on. I'll warn you if there's anymore pesky ice patches." The pair moved along, then, making their way to the Barracks and continuing their conversation. Morgan admitted that she was, indeed, interested in other girls which prompted Ariana to blush again. Though, that wasn't nearly as endearing as the modesty in her voice voice as she asked to "hang out." Morgan pinched her bandanna and pulled it further up her nose, a wide smile breaking out on her face, threatening to loosen it. The little added bit of "if you want to" really did her in, though. A warm laugh poured from her chest.
space"Well, how could I say no to that?" Her laughter bubbled down a bit and she added, "I'd love to," the warm smile never leaving her face. This girl was something else, and Morgan was more than happy to get closer to her. Be that as teammates, or something... more. They continued their walk with light back and forth, more blushes and more chuckles, and it didn't take too long for them to arrive at the Main Desk in the Barracks. As the pair approached the desk, and Officer spoke firmly before even looking up at them, "There will be no bunk assignments until after the Team Naming Ceremony. You will be permitted to visit your rooms after that. Please report to the cafeteria, the courtyards, or the amphitheater to wait at this time." It seemed he had been needing to say this a lot today. Morgan stood there for a moment anyway, waiting for him to look up. When he didn't, the blonde spoke anyway.
space"Hey pal. Sorry to be a pest, but uh, my partner here had a rough meeting with some snow, and she just wanted to warm up with a shower. That alright?" Morgan spoke evenly to the man, voice significantly flatter than it had been while conversing with Ariana. She also addressed The Officer rather... discourteously, which made the man whip his head up to correct her, but then he caught sight of Ariana. "Young lady, you should address me as C-- oh! Miss Sterling?" He looked back and forth between the two girls before continuing, "I-I believe we have an empty room that you could use for the time being. It right down this hall." He simply pointed and then set out the key on the counter, prompting Morgan to say, "He pointed down a hall to the left of us. I'll be right behind you." She slid the key against the desk so Ariana could hear, feeling braille letters on it, that it was right in front of her now. It had already slipped Morgan's mind that Ariana was a public figure. She watched the girl begin to walk down the hall, then turned her face to the man again.
space"Anyway I could bother you for a pot, next, Captain? And maybe some teabags?" After obtaining said items, along with two mugs and a towel for Ariana, Morgan moved down the hall a handful of steps behind her partner. The room was only about six doors straight down, so soon they were stepping into a barren room. There was only one bed it in, and two nightstands, one with a little tabletop burner and the other with a cooler. A break room for the staff, perhaps? "Looks like the shower is in that room directly behind you, if you'd like to go ahead warm up." Her voice was softer than when she was speaking to the Captain, subtlety yet enough to notice. She set down all the items she obtained and set the towel in Ariana's hand, " I'll go ahead and make us some tea." She let her hand linger over the other's for a beat as they exchanged the towel, then the marksman moved to take the pot and fill it with water, readying it to boil their tea.

ooc: we might be able to post a few times here, but we're about finished up with our fight on the ridgeway, so the team naming ceremony will start relatively soon~
Ariana simply capitulated to Morgan's assurance of getting inside. She was about to speak up when Morgan seemed to be having an issue remembering which way to go, she herself having long since learned to memorize directions, only for Morgan to settle on a direction. She got closer and took Morgan's sleeve a little hesitantly. "I-I can move a little faster if I'm holding on to someone."She let Morgan lead as she kept pace, her cane folded and strapped to her thigh. When Morgan agreed to a date though, Ariana nearly stumbled, blushing."Easily I'm sure. That had to be the most awkward attempt ever...Keep in mind, I was serious about the finger food."
It wasn't long before she could feel the warm of an interior after the sound of a heavy door opening. As they walked in, she heard a slightly annoyed male address them. She cocked her head when Morgan didn't reply, but just felt her stand there still. Once again, her attempt to speak was preempted by Morgan who explained the situation. She seemed...intent...on getting a rise out of the man. And it seemed she had before his tone shifted dramatically as he addressed Ariana."Please, just Ariana is fine. And if its really an issue we can go camp out in the mess with something hot to drink." Of course, he insisted on assisting them and she heard something metal scrape on wood as he mentioned a room they could use. She felt around a moment before finding a key with a raised number eleven on it. She walked until she was level with a wall and felt along it on the right. Feeling a number two, she switched sides and followed it until she found a door marked eleven.
Ariana felt for the keyhole and slid the key along her finger when she found it, making sure the uneven side was facing up and unlocked the door. She could sense how spartan the place was and it wasn't much to her liking. Despite her acceptance into this school, she was unqualified to be in the military due to her blindness, thank goodness. Morgan walked in after her and mentioned the shower. She nodded and left her weapon and cane outside with Morgan as she made her way into the bathroom. It was only about three minutes before she returned."Ugh...two minutes and the hot water cuts out...Not to sound like a spoiled brat or anything...but I need more hot water than that...wonder if it's on an automated timer or something that can be disabled?" She then remembered she wasn't alone and blushed, apologizing briefly as she took a seat.

spaceAs Morgan sat for those few minutes after Ariana entered the bathroom, waiting for the water to boil, a few thoughts jumbled through her mind. She pulled down her bandanna for a breathe of fresh air. In the same day, she'd gained a partner and a date. How convenient that they were the same person. The blonde thought back to Ariana taking hold of her shirt and, in her moment of solitude, her cheeks tinged pink, "Ah, man..." She couldn't remember the last time she blushed. The warm feeling on her cheeks was certainly foreign and odd. It was hard not to find the other girl utterly endearing. She was someone Morgan actually wanted to get to know. She propped her elbow on the end table and rested her chin in her hand as she watched the water begin to bubble. Even Ariana's subtle and nerve-riddled proposal was enrapturing; there was something special about the silver haired Atlesian. After less than five minutes, if even that, Ariana sulked back into the room. Morgan had a bit of an amused expression at her partner's woes. The marksman chuckled a bit when Ariana apologized and sat down.
space"No need to apologize," she moved to pour their tea as she spoke, "I'll go check it out. For now, your tea is right here." After the "here," Morgan placed the cup in her hand. Before letting go, Morgan folded her hands over Ariana's for a second, "I just poured it, so its still hot. There's about three inches from the tea to the top of the cup." Morgan hadn't bothered to put her bandanna back, so that slight lisp was present. Her fangs hung ever so slightly over her lips when she was relaxed and not holding her mouth shut. While they didn't produce venom on their own, and she had to will it, she was still worried there could be a slip up some day. Presently, though, the blonde pulled her hands away and stepped into the bathroom to check the shower. Indeed, there was a timer, and Morgan fiddled with the thing before thinking it was fixed. She turned the water on high heat and waited a moment, checking her scroll in the meantime. She was lucky she did because an announcement was flashing on her screen. The Naming Ceremony would be starting in about an hour. When the water started warming up, Morgan turned on the cold and let it stay lukewarm, then she walked back into the main room, "I got the shower working, I think I left the timer on for twenty minutes. And it looks like everyone finished the initiation, the ceremony's in an hour." She reported to her teammate. The marksman moved to pick up her own cup of tea, waiting patiently for Ariana so they could head to the ceremony together.

ooc: sorry this was short lived! to the ceremony, they gooo~~
Ariana stiffened a tad as Morgan chuckled at her, blushing a bit. Morgan dismissed her apology and she sensed her moving about before hearing the trickling of water into ceramic. She'd have taken the cup, but, Morgan put it in her hand. She knew that the whole concept of being blind yet able to semi-'see' was a confusing one, so, she bit back the urge to remind Morgan she didn't need to be handed the cup. Besides, Morgan was new to her still, obviously concerned and, how or why she wasn't sure, had agreed to a date. She really did not want to ruin that.
Holding the cup in her hands, she let it warm them up a bit for now. She nodded at the warning from Morgan after she told her how much there was in the cup. Admittedly, that was more reasonable. She couldn't accurately sense volume, relying on holding and gentle movements to determined from feel how full a cup was. When Morgan got up though, she cocked her head as the silhouette moved towards the bathroom. Guess she wanted a turn. While she was in there though, Ariana's scroll buzzed and she put a hand to her ear, activating the earpiece she kept in it and listened to a readout of the announcement. Soon after, Morgan returned and said she'd adjusted the shower ,leaving it on a twenty minute timer and brought up the announcement.
"Oh! Y-you didn't need to do that. Sorry. I was just complaining. I mean, not like we're coming back here and I'm warmed up enough as is. I have a feeling the showers here are...less private than this one. Everything is military this and that. I figure we'd just have a large bank of communal showers divided between genders."She then pulled out her scroll, which looked like it was turned off setting it on the table."And I heard. Daddy had this custom made for me. It doesn't light up apparently unless I select to play something on it. I have an earpiece on my right ear that will read out anything that comes up for me."At this point, she blushed a little."H-he had my mother provide the voice samples. He figured it'd help me feel more comfortable. But, it read out the announcement for me. Just give me a few minutes to finish my tea and I'll be ready. Oh...and...sorry in advance if I wake you up at night. I sleep irregularly as I get tired and wake up when my body feels more awake. Usually for like an hour or two at a time based off my attendant. Yeah...imagine having someone following you around just to be there in case something happened, despite something never happening that you can't handle."
