Ok these past two days I have had the privelage of going to the True Colors Conference, for the first time ever. Where it was amazing and I didnt want to leave.
Every one there was either LGBTQ or an ally of the LGBTQ community, and it felt just amazingly great to be there.
I even got a potential girl. smile
anyways, it was an awesome experiance. Me and my friends did not want to leave because monday it was back to being in the closet and shadows...plus..it was just that bloody kool.
We're going next year, like this year. Any body else go to True Colors today or yesterday? Any Stories?
oh yeah total from shopping both days:
18 pins
1 rainbow music note
1 rainbow sticker (its big)
1 little rainbow plastic pride flag
1 coffee mug
and
2 free condoms that my friends gave me XD

Where's that conference at? My pride group almost went to one this weekend, but we never got much details and didn't hear back from them, so we didn't end up going. *pouts* I was really looking forward to going to a conference again. denied.

Nebbie Where's that conference at? My pride group almost went to one this weekend, but we never got much details and didn't hear back from them, so we didn't end up going. *pouts* I was really looking forward to going to a conference again. denied. It was at Centeral Conneticut State University. Or as we like to call it: Central. ^^ There was a walk in registration, thats how we were able to do it...my school's GSA isnt well erm..that orginized ^^;.

Aww man, that's the one I almost went to... It's a bit outta the way for a western NY school tho, I guess. try to go to it next year, its an amzing experiance. Even if you cant go on friday, try to go on saterday-alot of people did that. ^^ and if you do, tell me I can help you navigate around campus. That goes for anyone from the guild as well. ^^
