How to get a custom slot will vary, so keep your eyes on the main thread to see if the shop's colorists have announced any openings.

Crossbreeds: A crossbreed uses the slot of the rarer breed. So, a ulaya with a ki'rin tail and ucolian wings would be considered a "Rare" slot, taking on the ki'rin's base price of 30,000p.
EDIT PRICES:
When ordering an edited pet (excluding cosplays, since their base price covers everything!), you take the base price and multiply it for each edit level. We personally judge edit levels based on the info below.
For example: A Ucolian's base price is 10,000p. If you were to get it with Minor Edits, it would be the base price x 1.5, which = 15,000p.
Minor Edits: Just like an ordinary custom, but with a change or two. Minor edits are things such as simple jewelry, a piece of clothing, smaller items, etc. Expression changes are also fine. Think small and simple. (Base price x 1.5)
Moderate Edits: This is a pet with a few more edits than usual. A jacket/shirt, edited tails/ears/hair, hats, scarves, masks, accessories, jewelry, etc. This is either two to three larger edits, or a few small/simple ones. (Base price x 2)
Heavy Edits: A custom with a lot of changes. I'm talking more than four larger/complex edits. A heavy edit pet can have just about as many items as a cosplay can, maybe even more. These are things like fully edited hair, multiple items, layers of clothing, major lineart changes, etc. Did I mention that these guys have a lot of edits? Lots of edits. Their edits are usually more numerous or more complicated than usual. (Base price x 2.5)
TYPES OF CUSTOMS:
We know things can get a little confusing, especially if you're just starting off, so here's a small run down of the different custom types available.
Semi-Customs: You get to specify up to three colors for the colorist to use, but no specific markings/patterns/etc. The colorist chooses the rest.
Customs: You tell the colorist exactly what you want the pet to look like, and the colorist will make the pet to your design.
Unedited: The colorist will make the pet to your design, but there are no further additions made. No items, accessories, different hair styles, etc.
Edited: The colorist will make the pet to your design and you can have additions made. Things like items, accessories, different hair styles, etc.
Cosplays: A pet edited and colored to look like one of your favorite characters. Please make sure to check the shop's list of cosplays before ordering! Once you've obtained a cosplay, there's also a cool-down period!
- Cool-down (staff and customers): 4 months.
God Customs: Due to their rarity, gods are only available through god-specific custom rounds. Once you've obtained a God, there's also a cool-down period!
- Cool-down (customers): 4 months.
- Cool-down (staff): Every other staff raffle.

While customers are allowed to order a lot of things, there are certain traits and edits that aren't allowed! If you have a question about whether or not something would be allowed, please feel free to PM the mule, Jokoa Realm.
Pets that break these rules may, on very rare occasions, be given out by staff via events.
Cosplays can't be based on actual people.
We've done this a few times in the past, but no more. No RL actors, band members, youtube stars, etc. You can't order a Tom Hiddleston or Chris Hemsworth pet, sorry!
You cannot ask for a three-way crossbreed.
Pets with traits from three different species are only available through breedings and shop event.
No extra limbs (arms, legs, ears, etc.)
Your pet cannot have an extra set of arms, four pairs of ears, multiple tails, multiple eyes, etc. Like most things in our Limits post, pets with these types of edits are extremely rare and only given out through shop events or breedings.
No extra heads/removing the pet's head.
You can have the face and head edited, but you cannot remove it completely or add extra heads. No pets running around without their heads and no three-headed pets, sorry folks!
No removing/replacing a majority of the body.
You cannot remove the upper or lower half of the body or replace it with something else. Basically, no nagas, centaurs, etc.
You cannot have more than one pair of wings.
Pets with more than one set of wings are extremely rare and only given out through shop events or breedings.
You cannot ask for mismatched wings.
Pets with mixed wings (Example: A bat wing and a feathered wing) are extremely rare and only given out through shop events or breedings.
Redos are allowed, to an extent.
A pet can be recustomed due to wanting new lines, RP-based changes, or wanting an alternate form of an OC/character. There are some guidelines to follow, however:
- The pet must have originally been obtained via custom or bribe. Anything premade, CC, breeding-related, or otherwise will never be eligible for a redo. No exceptions.
- A proposal PM must be sent to the mule, Jokoa Realm, for staff approval and sign off before you try to get the pet redone.
- Redone pets will always require the original artist's permission or, in the event the original artist is no longer contactable, full shop moderator permission.
- No changing species or adding on species-specific things like Draco'ula wings/Uudesa tails/etc. The redone pet has to be at least somewhat recognizable, so the pet can't be changed completely.
- RP-based changes cannot change more than 30% of the original pet. This is cumulative, and not subsequent. (IE: You cannot change a pet 30%, then later ask to change the pet another additional 30% down the road. It is 30% in total from the original pet). RP-based changes can be refused and are never guaranteed.
