This is the home that Alphonse inherited from his Adopted Grandparents Godrick and Fuujin Kaze, he has kept in well maintained and has been very protective of the belongings inside of it. Despite it being a small family it is a rather large home, perhaps they had a large amount of children at one time and needed the space?
