Yori ✶ Yamashirothisisaspacer t h i s i s a s p a c e r THE EVERGLIM AND EVENFALL WIELDER tab tab THE BASICS tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
✶ FULL NAME: tab tab Yori Ahana Yamashiro
✶ NICKNAMES: tab tab Yori-Chan, Yamashiro-Chan, pretty much anything. Yori answers to any and all nicknames, even if they're insulting.
✶ AGE: tab tab 15
✶ GENDER: tab tab FEMALE
✶ SEXUALITY: tab tab Pansexual
✶ HOMEWORLD: tab tab Earth
tab tab A DEEPER LOOK tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
✶ PERSONALITY: Yori is outgoing and enthusiastic, as expected of a happy go lucky girl like her. Most people find her boundless energy to be infectious, and it doesn't take much for her to get people riled up and ready to go. When it comes to boring things such as studying or doing homework, Yori is quite the slacker. However, she is relentlessly persistent when it comes to anything she cares about, and quite frankly, never gives up. This tenacity combined with her loyalty and her playfulness often make people joke about her being a puppy, or like a dog. Adding onto that, she has a wild streak and doesn't think twice about doing anything dangerous or scary, which makes people think she is either courageous, foolhardy, or healthy mix of both.
✶ BIOGRAPHY: tab Growning up in Gujo Hachiman, Yori was always a happy girl. Her nature made it easy for her to make friends at the drop of a hat, and she's also always been good at keeping them. This came in pretty handy in school- Her friends would always help her with her homework, and her teachers would always go easy on her since she was a class favorite no matter what grade she was in. They would happily bump up grades and make sure she passed, even if it wasn't fair to the other students. Yori, herself, wasn't aware of this, although some of her friends mentioned it from time to time.
tab Since she was just so popular, Yori was elected class rep in grade nine, despite the fact that there were plenty of better candidates for the job- Ones who liked doing paperwork and stuff, y'know? Said people generally helped her out when it came down to things like that, and she officially appointed them as managers to feel a little less bad about leaving all the boring stuff to them. It was a good system, though. With her doing her job by drumming up support and just being herself and then the others at her back, their class always won any competitions and went above and beyond when it came to things like bake sales and collecting money for school projects. Things were great, like something out of a slice of life anime.
tab Then, one day, a girl transferred into her class. Rika Tsukimora... Yori was puzzled by her, to say the least. Rika never turned down offers to hang out or anything, but she never really seemed too happy with them, either. This only made Yori work harder to include her in group activities and other things. Eventually, Yori got the idea that maybe Rika was uncomfortable with how overbearing she was in her attempts to get the taciturn girl to smile and be happy, and she toned it down a little, or at least tried to. She still went out of her way to make sure to include Rika in things, and made sure that Rika knew she was always welcome to join later if she changed her mind about stuff.
tab tab THE POWER WITHIN tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
KEYBLADE:: tab tab ✶ Everglim and Evenfall tab tab tab ✶ Everglim appears during the day. Each swing conjures three bright feathers that will home in on the target after a couple of seconds of floating in the air. The feathers deal fire damage, and can be avoided with careful timing. tab tab tab ✶ Evenfall appears at night. When Evenfall is swung a beam of moonlight will shoot out in the direction she was aiming. If the projectile hits something, it will coat the target in a strange ethereal light that will disappear within ten seconds. If the target is struck by Yori's keyblade before the light disappears, the light will empower the strike and let Yori deal double the damage.
MAGIC:: tab tab ✶ Graviga tab tab ✶ Reflega tab tab ✶ Fira tab tab ✶ Thundara tab tab ✶ Esuna
SKILLS:: tab tab ✶ Falcon Crest :: Yori dives into the targeted enemy as a ray of light hits them, knocking them down and dealing hefty magic damage in a shockwave at the cost of 50 mana. Enemies hit by this will be winded for one turn, lowering their damage dealt by half. It will also knock down people next to them if they were within six feet. tab tab ✶ Mystic Blade :: Melee hits from either keyblade have a passive drain, stealing both mana and health based on 1/2 of the damage dealt. Melee hits also deal electric magic damage rather than physical damage.
SUMMON:: tab tab ✶ Ifrit :: Ifrit is a powerful djinn with terrifying powers over fire. tab tab ✶ Healing Light :: An odd ability for a djinn that's all about destruction, Healing Light will heal all party members currently nearby for a good chunk of health. tab tab ✶ Hellfire :: Much more appropriate for someone called Ifrit, Hellfire will deal fire damage to all enemies currently nearby for quite a bit of damage.
tab tab MY MANY FACES tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
tab tab ANYTHING ELSE? tab ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄
✶ CRUSH: tab tab tab She likes a couple of people from her class, but she wouldn't really call anything a full blown crush.
✶ OTHER: tab tab ✶ Loves seeing Rika's sketches!
tab tab ✶ Does not know how to do most forms of paperwork and is easily overwhelmed by anything that would resemble such a thing.
tab tab ✶ Does not like to read! She prefers to run around and be active.
tab tab ✶ The only video game she has ever played is Mario Kart, and she wasn't very good at it.
tab tab ✶ Carries around a purse. All the time. Like, she is never without this damn purse. The purse has a portable first aid kit, her wallet with her id and her credit cards in it, a notebook for making... Um, notes, her phone, her ipad, her chargers for both of those, a nail file, her house keys, her make-up, a compact mirror, a pack of rainbow hair ties, a mini brush, a pack of multicolored glitter pens, three Milky Way chocolate bars, a pack of pocky, and lastly, lady products for that monthly hell we all know and love.
tab tab ✶ In case you didn't notice from the last extra bit, Yori is a pretty big girly girl.
tab tab ✶ She is pretty sporty despite her looks and loves to run and exercise. Because of this, she will probably be a massive fan of Struggle if she ever gets a chance to see the game.

✶Pʀɪᴀ Fᴏʟʟʏ✶✶Oɴᴇ ᴏꜰ Tᴡᴏ✶Mᴏᴏᴅ: Extra enthusiastic, really ambitious too! Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Sandstring Atoll; Valley of Mourning Nᴇᴀʀ: Airashi! No wonder Pria is so happy! At their hop, skip, sprint pace it didn’t take long at all for them to arrive at their destination- The Valley of Mourning. They usually didn’t ******** with this world, not with those massive monsters that walked around in the pyramids. As far as they knew, the monsters couldn’t leave them… But sometimes when the girls walked around, the creatures would stand on the steps and stare at them. Never anything else- Just stare with those bright yellow eyes. They’d tried to have a picnic here, once. Turns out, it’s hard to eat with a bunch of hulking goliaths staring at you.
Always favoring caution, both girls crept quietly through the translucent veil that was the opening in the barrier. It was always weird, like walking through the jiggly water she saw at the fancy stores in the Wall. Gelatin or something, she’d often heard it called. Jiggly water made so much more sense, though. Both probably had their own ideas of what it was like. ”Can you see anything?” Pria asked her comrade in adventure, scanning the horizon. It was kind of a dumb question, because it was really hard to miss the black ship stuck into one of the bigger pyramids.
”Surprisingly, not a hundred eyes staring at me.” Airashi quipped, showing off her mastery of sass.
Pria couldn’t help but snort, but her snort turned into a, ”Oh, s**t… Airy, I don’t think we can loot it… half of it is inside one of the ruins!” Maybe they couldn’t see the monsters now, but they were bound to pop up. She looked up at the sky, gauging the time ‘til sunset. In a couple of hours, they’d be doing their weird ritual thing.
Airashi tensed up a bit as Pria’s sudden burst in profanity startled her into an alarmed state. The next thing her partner in crime said shifted her attention more to the crashed ship itself. Half of it was ripped off and stuck into the pyramid. She didn’t see any eyes staring back at them because their attention was now drawn to that. Either way, there was no going into that ship, not if they wanted to live. Or so they thought, anyway. But looking up at the sky, it was only a couple of hours until sunset. ”How about we wait until sundown, that’s when they do their weird ritual, remember? We can loot the ship while they’re distracted with all of that nonsense.” She suggested. After all, they needed to get in that machine and loot the ever living heck out of it.
As always, Pria was glad to have her booksmart companion with her. She always made sense out of the silliest things. ”Sounds good, let’s head down!” She said excitedly, instantly chipper again as they started hopping down the hill like goddamn mountain goats. They were headed straight for the most convenient hiding place near the crash sight- the ruins of the statue it had clearly obliterated. From behind the stony rubble, they took up their whispery watch, inspecting the strange machine and pointing out obvious similarities between it and their fort. Neither one had any idea that someone was still alive inside of it. ❝Sometimes it feels like everything was made just for us. Is that wrong?❞

✶Yᴏʀɪ Yᴀᴍᴀsʜɪʀᴏ✶✶Hᴀᴘᴘʏ ɢᴏ Lᴜᴄᴋʏ✶Mᴏᴏᴅ: Enthusiastic, probably Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Traverse Town- District Three Nᴇᴀʀ: Aelita, although she isn't aware of her. Clutching her purse close, Yori walked down the empty school halls, wondering why in the world it was so dark. On a day like this, people should've been walking around- Even if class was in session, there would've at least been people in the hallways. Her footsteps echoed eerily throughout the building as she walked past dark classrooms and dusty looking lockers. As she explored, she realized what was wrong. Yori was the only person here, and... The lockers shouldn't have been dusty at all. They were cleaned and used every day. Looking down towards the floor, it looked like it hadn't been swept or even walked on in ages. The blonde turned around and saw that her footsteps had made a trail in the thick dust. That wasn't all, either. The way she came was slowly growing darker by the second. If she was a wimp, she probably would have screamed and ran. But she was Yamashiro Yori, and she wasn't afraid of anything, or anyone. She held her ground for a moment, glaring into the darkness. The pitch black wall began speeding up, and Yori burst into a run, intent on meeting whatever this was head on. The moment she left the light, everything ended.
Yori's eyes shot wide open, and she was met with the sight of a brick wall. She became aware of the cold brick supporting her back as well, and slowly stood up. She was in an alleyway. "But... I..." She'd been in her bed when she gone to sleep. She knew she had, because she remembered plugging in her phone to charge when she went to sleep. So. What the hell? Had she been kidnapped? Looking down at herself, she realized that she was in her school uniform. And her purse was right at her feet, too. A cold shiver went up her spine, and she bent down to pick it up. There was no fear as she opened it and checked the contents, and rightfully so, because there was nothing to be afraid of. Her purse had everything she'd packed in it the day before, as well as her phone and her charger. Nothing to be afraid of, no. Yori would not be scared of waking up in an alleyway in the dead of night with her school uniform on and her purse, even if scared was the emotion that made the most sense right now. "Somebody must be pranking me... Monaca-chan, maybe?" She muttered out loud, trying to keep a good reign on her nerves. Yori didn't play video games, and she certainly didn't read unless it was part of a class assignment, so the only thing she could really compare this to was something like a movie. It was just as unbelievable as the things that happened on screen, to the point where she wasn't sure whether or not she was still dreaming. A cold breeze passing by made her clothes flutter, and she shivered. The uniform was not made for warmth, and there was no way a dream could have a feeling that realistic... It was kind of disturbing, to say the least.
Slinging her purse around her shoulder, she walked out of the alley and into the street. Wherever she was, she didn't recognize it at all. The architecture was unfamiliar to her, the only thing she knew about it was that the design was foreign. Making her way up the street, there wasn't a single soul in sight, even as she got to a wide open plaza. At least, not one that she knew of. Aelita, tucked away in her corner by the stairs, was completely out of Yori's line of sight as she walked into the middle of the plaza. But the other girl could probably see her just fine if she looked up. Sighing, Yori reached into her purse and took out her phone with a frown. It was full battery, but she didn't seem to have a signal. "What kind of boonie town doesn't have cell phone reception?!" She exclaimed, shocked. These days, a girl could go all the way out into those weird rice fields in the middle of nowhere and her signal would still be fine. So where in the world was she? ❝The superior tactic is to never give up!❞
