︾ ︾ ︾ ︾ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ╔══════════════╗ 𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐒𝐎𝐍 ɴɪɢʜᴛᴡɪɴɢ ╚══════════════╝ New York City, Titan’s headquarters As the Titans sat around in the guest quarters, or where they would all gather to have a good time. Each one of the members had seemed to be in a cheerful mood, which had always been a good sign. I mean other than the usual bad guy appearing every once in awhile, it seemed that things were on the right track to being a good week. That’s what d**k had thought before he had left his teammates to get some time to himself. Once he had entered his living quarters, he noticed a strange looking note on his desk, it was nothing out of the ordinary other than the melted wax that had enclosed the letter. Once he had finally realised that the wax had been formed in a symbol, that’s when he couldn’t believe it. His heart started to race. Starting to shake and sweat, as he continued to examine the item. Almost to the point of feeling sick to his stomach. How long had it been in here? How did the security system not pick up an intruder? It had only taken a second for his good, cheerful mood to be totally turned around by one little thing. From being filled in a room with people that he considered friends and family. To being alone in his room, with this letter and his thoughts. His mindset went to a darker place, thinking of what this man was possible of doing. That’s what terrified him the most. Knowing that this man knew where he was, and where the people he cared about were.

Kory never thought she'd be back here with her friends, old and new. It was refreshing to be in good company. That of laughter, companionship, and pleasurable entertainment. Solid green eyes glazed over her fellow Titans in attendance, nothing could break the bond that they shared. The tamaranean's head rested comfortably in the palms of both of her hands, her legs swaying back and forth as she laid flat on her stomach. The sun that shined through the tower windows highlighted her orange skin that was visible under a salmon colored blouse and floral patterned skirt. Kory chimed in her ever so usual delighted tone."Perhaps if everyone was hungry I could bring out the food? I prepared a delicacy on Tamaran."
Kory gracefully floated from the couch and into the kitchen, her feet touching the floor directly in front of the oven. A moment later she appeared with a tray, steaming hot and ready to eat. "I believe on Earth you call them mushrooms? On my home planet, these are called moi'non. Usually quite poisonous unless you remove the spines and then you have deliciously tasty treats!" Her impromptu sales speech came to end, hovering back over to the other Titans with the tray of her prepared creation. "Where is d**k?" Her red brows curved worriedly as she turned left, then turned right, and then looked to the others for an answer.

TempestGarth sat there reading away at a comic when Starfire suddenly rose from the couch mentioning something about food. He was too focused on the issue at hand to care though. "Annnnnd finished." he announced turning his head to now join the living curious of the aroma filling his nostrils. Upon turning his face would practically contort itself. "No thanks Kory. I think I'll just order some pizza." he informed going to the kitchen area grabbing the phone. Punching in the numbers to their resident pizza joint, Pizza Fish on 11th Avenue. "Grayson? Couldn't tell ya. Been MIA all day. Maybe he's in his room." shrugged Tempest as the line on the other end picked up with an Italian accent. "Yello?" - "Yeah, can I get the usual sent over to Titans tower. Cool. Thanks." Tempest turned happily now not expecting to see Kory. But with no one else in the living quarters it meant only one thing- he controlled the TV!

Now, there were two people of whom to avoid in the kitchen when the premise of food being cooked surfaced into the air and be ready to take notes. The first was Garfield Logan. Unless his vegan life was truly popping with vast array of foods to which the likes many have never seen, then avoiding him attempt to feed everyone tofu just would not work. Every once in a while, Roy would indulge the humor, but the male preferred some kind of proper substance. The next person to avoid was none other than Starfire herself. She was sweet, truly. Telling her that she had the grace of akin to the cacophony of a dying beached whale however when it came to cooking was something Roy could not bring himself to say. Heck, mostly everyone around them felt that way and just went with the usual idea of placing anything she prepared for them in the trash with pure discretion. So what was the male going to do when she offered mushrooms? Dare he to inquire where she got them from for that matter? He would just slink into the couch in the living room, flipping through various channels.
"I'll pass on the offer," he stated. "Not exactly hungry right about now. d**k is probably brooding in his own personal batcave right about now though. He doesn't write. He doesn't call. Maybe we should just go knock on his door and hope for the best. I'm sure he would appreciate your effort to make him and everyone some moiotones...err...Moikites? Mushrooms!"
He found himself casually laying on the couch, his hand with the remote hanging as he flipped through several more channels. Truth be told, he really wasn't hungry. He could go for a drink right about now though while wondering how to satiate his boredom.

The cheering crowd, the wind that blew in the spaces between his headgear, the pummeling the other team took as Victor's own team turned the tables during a game that seemed all but lost by the end of the quarter. Playing football in high school and playing hard enough landed him a scholarship for his unique talents on the field. He was proud and yet also reluctant to admit that he had done it all by himself, with very little family support. Both his mother and father buried themselves in their super important work down at one of the Star Labs installations in Detroit. He never once saw them at games, their special spots vacant more often than not until Vic just didn't care to keep them available anymore. He had his whole life ahead of him before it happened. With the invasion and the technology his father stumbled upon, a career in the NFL was gone in the blink of an eye only to be replaced by...whatever "this" was.
Vic's organic blinked once, twice, and one more time as he took in reality around him. He was staring passed the glass of the tower out into the expanse of New York, where the Titans called home. Vic was usually upbeat and a sociable person but what can you expect from a young man who lost more than half of his own body. There was very little to be happy about these days, even if he was in the company of friends and allies. He turned to face the lot of them, doing his best to force a smile at the alien girl that offered to feed the team. "My stomach may not be what it used to but I know when to pick my battles. Thanks anyway, Kory." He turned away from the group again, sighing softly in front of the glass again. Kory's distressful and worried tone caused Vic to turn around once more, his expression empathetic rather than trying to let an awkward situation slip by. "He's in his room." Said Vic, adding onto the two answers already given. His red eye flashed slightly and though they couldn't see it, Vic was looking at several panels that displayed the feed from cameras all over Titans tower, the camera in the hall of d**k's room included. There weren't any cameras in any of their rooms for good and obvious reasons but he noticed it all. From d**k leaving the company of his team, to fleeing into his room in secrecy without a word. What was going on in there, he'd be left to wonder with the rest of them.

︾ ︾ ︾ ︾ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ╔══════════════╗ 𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐒𝐎𝐍 ɴɪɢʜᴛᴡɪɴɢ ╚══════════════╝ As the letter rested on the desk, unopened. It had taunted him, Blood was threatening him. Granting d**k the knowledge that Blood knew where he was. He couldn’t keep this from the rest of the team, he couldn’t risk their safety. Before he went to the others to inform them of what had happened, he had to gather his thoughts. That night was one that he would remember for the rest of his life, unfortunately. Snagging onto the letter before leaving his room. Just by the look on his face, anyone that had seen it would know something was up. Once he had entered the living quarters where the team would usually hang around, chat and chill out. But with his presence made, he announced for each and everyone of them to gather around the meeting table. As he approached it, his slid the letter with the demonic candle wax symbol that had sealed it. For each of them to examine, to gather what was next to come. ”It was back in December of last year when I encountered a man named Sebastian Blood. A man that manipulated others to his cause, a cult. A cult of blood. I had assumed it was just another out of the many. I was wrong. What I witnessed that night, it wasn’t anything that I had ever seen before. The voices I heard, the blood magic I saw. I thought he had was still locked up since that night. But that is no longer the case.” d**k quickly punched in a few letters into the nearby keyboard that was built into the table, courtesy of Cyborg. One of the many benefits of having him on the team. As the computer registered what it was commanded to do, it had brought up a case file of Brother Blood. Everything that Nightwing that he had gathered on the individual was on that file. Allowing the members to observe what kind of threat he was. What this one man was capable of doing. As he sat in one of the many chairs that surrounded the table, he rest his elbows on the arm rest of the chair. Grasping his hands together to form a cover for his mouth. From the look he had given, it could be seen that he had so much going on in his head. Thinking of his next plan, thinking what was this psycho was going to do. Each of them were free to speak their minds. He should've informed them on a threat like this before, but he didn't assume that it was ever going to be a problem again.

To her disappointment, no one on the team decided to try her tasty offerings. Oh well. That meant more for her whenever she so chose to have one. In the face of rejection, Kory painted a bright smile over her orange skin before turning in mid air to lay the tray of her creations down on the counter. "If that is so, then I will go retrieve him. He shouldn't be trapped within the darkness of his room missing all of the fun! Oh, d**k? Their team leader appeared before them without warning as if it were even out of thin air. Her head tilted to the side and her face scrunched in a worrisome expression. "Does something trouble you?" But he said nothing while he stepped by her, confusing the Tamaranean even more. He answered differently in the form of gathering around in a close knit circle to listen and listen well to what he had to say.
"What could this man possibly want from you? Revenge? Or worse?"

He eventually slinked away from the couch, walking off to the halls for a few to, if nothing more, pace around a bit. It was around that same timeframe their illustrious leader stepped forth from his room with something to publicly announce. He shrugged to himself if nothing more and backtracked back into the lobby and living room of the base. When he saw the letter get placed on the table, it didn't take much for him to put two and two together with a file of information given as well. When Starfire was done looking over things herself, Roy skimmed through the files that were given. He was just looking at things such as the name, age, height, notable crimes and the basics. A person could usually tell if they were dealing with a psychpathic nut with just those few things and given the letter itself with the mentioning of a cult, this man had to surely be one trip shy of Arkham.
"He knew where to find you. Surely he wants something, then."

Vic's time as a hero has been brief, spanning only a few short months after the attack on the planet. Despite his social crutch, he was able to meet and befriend the majority of the community of heroes. Notably the Titans were the ones to take him and integrate him into this new life. He knew very little about each of them except for the face value details. Aliens, vigilantes, metahumans, codenames, powers, and other small details. Nightwing was one of the few with a story, he assumed. Protege to Batman, he knew that much. While he was an upstanding leader, he did his fair share of brooding in his own quarters. Although that seemed to be warranted judging by the piece of paper he had presented to the group. Starfire and Roy took turns examining the contents within but Victor passed at the chance. There were some perks to being more than over 50% machine. He was his own super computer on the go with more than a few tricks up his wires.
While everyone viewed the tangible evidence, Vic searched up every and all known individuals with the name Sebastian Blood which to his surprise pulled up less than a dozen men that went under the name. By narrowing the search, he filtered all them out by examining criminal records within the last year. The number thankfully dwindled down to the one in question. "Arrested towards the end of the year after you stopped him single handedly. Some of these police reports talk about actual sacrifices, like out of some sort of sick religion. Seems like he has a bone to pick with you now."
