 Wrapped tight around you is a worn, moth eaten blanket.

It's musty and dusty, and quite frankly, smells like multiple wet dogs.
❃
Should you choose to look around the room, you'll find that the the pink flowery wallpaper is ancient.
❃
It's yellowing around the corners, and up at the top of the walls, it's slowly peeling down, forming small curls of paper.
❃
Maybe next, you see the window- For all the good it does.
❃
The only view it gives is one of wet, gray, stone.
❃
On the right side of your bed, there's a small table with a drawer.
❃
There's a small lock on it, but you don't see the key anywhere.
❃
On the left side, you see a dirty mirror hanging up on the wall.
❃
It's so dirty, you can barely even see your reflection.
❃
Maybe it's worth cleaning?
❃
Regardless of your actions upon waking up, you're sure to wind up leaving the room eventually.
❃
Upon exiting your room, you realize that you're in a motel of sorts- It's an almost endless hallway full of doors just like yours.
❃
Looking back, you make a mental note of the number on your door.
❃
After you're sure you've memorized it, you pick a side and walk down the hall, unsure of where it will lead.

❃ So.
Here you are, pulled from your world and stuck in an endless cave full of creepy shopkeepers and deep, dark, chasms.
There's a mystery to solve here, and if you don't crack the code, you'll never get home.
The pressure is high, but you're not alone- There are other people here, just like you.
They woke up in the exact same room, probably thought the same exact thing, "Where am I?"
They wandered down the same hallway of doors, memorized their numbers.
Maybe some of them even took along that gross pink and white checker pattern blanket- You never know what'll come in handy.
Regardless, they're in the same boat as you.
For now, that makes you allies.
Perhaps you go about questioning the only people who seem to know what's going on- Those freaky shop keepers, and the pink haired girl in the hotel lobby, who seems a little too well kept compared to the state of everything else. ❃

 ❃ Lucky ❃An odd young woman who acts overly friendly towards others. She wanders the lobby of the motel greeting anyone who enters and bidding goodbye to anyone who exits, often gifting them advice as they go. Whether it is good advice or not remains to be seen. With her bright pink hair and fancy outfit, she and her hotel stand out quite a bit against the rest of the shops and their owners. ❃ Georgette ❃A tall middle aged woman with pale, sagging skin and mousy brown hair, she runs two shops; The wedding gown shop, and the tailoring and drapery shop. She doesn't seem to be very chatty when it comes to men, but will always accept women who come into her shop- Although, she seems very unhappy when they leave. ❃ Willy ❃Always grumpy, this old man runs the Laundromat. Clothes seem to come out dirty after he washes them, though. There are two vending machines in his store, one for drinks and one for food. There is a sticker slapped over the coin slot of each machine that has the picture of a boot. Whatever that means. ❃ Abandoned Buildings ❃While the area outside of the hotel has other shops, these are the only two that aren't boarded up. Lights are on in the shops that are boarded up, and can be seen through the windows. Things can be heard moving inside on occasion...

All characters are welcome. This includes both original characters and canon characters from any franchise imaginable. Go all out, have fun, and be wild. My only request is that OC characters come from their own made up worlds. You could even make one from this one, if you wanna PM me and do some planning! With canon characters, please be advised that some folks might not know anything about the world your character comes from. Please be nice about it, and be willing to explain things and link wiki pages if people have any questions. I'll be doing some sleuthing of my own on your characters for plot reasons, so I'll be there to answer questions too, don't worry. c: I know people say this for every roleplay, but please do limit your characters to a balanced amount- No Super Mega Gods, okay?

Please respect the wishes and boundaries of other players. If someone isn't comfortable with something, don't force it on them. This could pertain to romance, characters fighting, creating a family member/friend of someone else's character... The list goes on. If someone is being forceful and makes you uncomfortable, just PM me and we'll sort it out.

Our roleplay comes with its own Discord server! Of course, discord servers are free to make so it's really not all that impressive. Once you're accepted into the RP, I'll give you an invite so you can hop on and start plotting with everyone. There are voice channels, but you don't have to join them if you don't want to. We might play games like cards against humanity and town of salem every now and then, so feel free to join in on the fun!

When applying, just pm me your profile and give me your favorite Gaia Emoticon. For the title, please just put, "I'm Waking Up Today!" It's as simple as that. I am allowed to decline any profile for any reason, be it a balancing issue or if you've had problems with our members in the past. Please do not post until I have accepted you, given you your number, and have your profile posted!
