 This isn't so much an FAQ thread as an opportunity to ask any questions you have about anything. Whether it be general lore, or metaplot queries, shove them here.

 Common questions I've been asked before.Q. Can any species of SoA Join?
A. Yes.
Q. Can any species be any rank?
A. Yes.
Q. What do normal Al-Siq do with black (phantom) children?
A. Most will abandon them and leave them to die. They're considered a terrible omen.
Q. Can normal Al-Siq keep their black (phantom) children and raise them as normal members of society.
A. They can try, but societal pressures will mean that child is at risk of being treated poorly by anyone outside the family.
Q. Will phantoms care for any non-phantom offpsring i.e. Will they raise any non black cubs with their own.
A. No. They will however deliberately place them where a member of the outside world will find them in order to ensure their survival.
Q. What do phantoms do with pure white cubs?
A. Normally, they execute them. The parents have the right to conduct this sacrifice in the manner they choose. On very rare occasions a phantom may rebel and abandon the white cub as they would a normal cub, but this requires incredible courage and they may be subject to execution themselves as a result.
Q. Can gods visit?
A. Yes, but they won't be worshiped. The Al-Siq have a very strict faith structure. Ideally, gods should try to keep to their mortal forms to avoid any offence. If they can't, then they shouldn't expect any special treatment either, but unusual looks may be expected.
