
Most kin, whether alone or in a pair, sought out blessings when they were expecting; it was either that or they followed their hooves in a hopeful direction to find something of a greater power. Bleeding Rock, however, remained stationary. She would be a mother soon, and it felt as though she were continuously waging an internal war with herself. Her pride attempted to reassure her that she would be fine and wouldn't need any help raising the young ones, but a smaller side of her continued to push the stubborn Totoma towards a more practical reality: She did need help. Or at least, she needed to know that her children would meet the world healthy and strong.
Hesitantly, she took a single step forward. Another one followed, and then another. It was a slow pace - an unsure one - but she was finally on the move.
