From the time of Tula's infancy, the castle had changed and beem renovated several times with additions and repairs and then more repairs to whichever lab accident occurred until it had settled into form. It was a lavish assortment of demon aesthetics heavy with cushions and ample seating and yet an invasion of potted plants and herbs by windows and the kitchens. Outside the lake remained wild while the lawns slowly moved to manicured. While there was a elloquent stable for Glida's servants, his father Calder's own residence was primarily outside or in a built wooden house built near the castle sunk in a pond with steps fitted over the water for guest to enter and an abundance of plants overtaking the sides and roof.
While his father Zar claimed the basement levels, Gilda and Ras has their own lavish room where his brother Sup slept. Other than that, Barth had his own room, a servants area and guest roons had been built, and the labs were a shared space.
He at least had his own corner and since his childhood expanded his nest to a massive room of a web that made a large, sticky mass in the rafters with several bridges of webbing and finner spinnerets here and there. A hole upon the lower bottom of the nest welcomed into his own room where he preferred the feel of his web to carpet.

Zar was happy in the lavish castle and grounds and with the life he'd managed to somehow land in, watching the place grow and change and also watching his children grow and change. He'd been sad at first about how drawn to Ras and Gilda Superbia had always been but over the last year or so had become more at peace with it. He wasn't a very good father himself honestly and so much about Superbia's physical anatomy was things that they could easily relate to and help him through.
That day he was resting in the common room at the entrance, the place which sat in the middle of all of their domains, with no stairs for Barth, up from the basement, easily accessed from the outside and with all the other major staircases meeting at that point.
Sometimes it was a little too quiet for Zar and today was one of those days, in his natural form with his fur fluffed up, in the mood to read a book but not in the mood to shift back into his humanoid form, trapped in that inertia place where he just couldn't muster the effort to do anything much at all.
