.....◦◦ Summons: Closet is a chest that upon being summoned, will function as an infinite inventory. All Iazel has to do is tell Closet what exactly she wants, open the chest, and it will have what she needs- Provided that she's collected it before. Also, key word is exactly. If she messes something up or doesn't remember it right, Closet will just surprise her. And uh, anyone in the room probably. "Surprises" are usually mild pranks, like getting glitter bombed or splashed with a moderate wave of cold water. Getting a surprise also un-summons the box, and Iazel will have to wait a while before summoning it again.
Geraint is an ancient griffin from Ahmelia's island that Iazel encountered in the true final phase of the labyrinth. When summoned, Geraint will act as Iazel's mount. While in battle, Geraint can only be summoned for three posts before he has to land and disappear.
Outside of battle, Geraint can stay for as long as he is needed. Iazel can ride him with one other person, but they have to hold on tight since Geraint moves fast and unpredictably.

.....◦◦ Special Skills:
Levinsnake's Rise- Iazel dives into the targeted enemy as several bolts of thunder crash down in the immediate area, knocking anyone hit by the blast down and dealing magic damage in a shockwave. Enemies hit by this will be winded for two turns, lowering their damage dealt by half.
Mystic Blade- Melee hits from Everglim have a passive drain, stealing both mana and health based on 1/3 of the damage dealt. Melee hits also deal electric magic damage rather than physical damage.
Thunder Cage- Conjures a bright purple circle in a small area. If they don't dodge in time, arcane lightning will erupt from the circle and deal a massive amount of damage, as well as cause the paralysis status effect. Luckily, it is kind of easy to time if you're paying attention to the lights moving within the circle- They start at the edges and quickly wind down in a swirling formation. Once they meet in the middle, you're SOL if you didn't move.

.....◦◦ Magic: Curaga, Thundaga, Faith and Reflega.
.....◦◦ Keyblade: Everglim is the weapon she wields, as seen in the picture with her. The keyblade itself does not seem to have a keychain, but it's always in plain sight- The keychain takes the form of a small shield on her arm when the keyblade is summoned. Heartless and Nobodies slain by Iazel's magic will be permadead thanks to Ahmelia's blessing, so she is not limited to using deathblows via her keyblade. Bosses and characters are, of course, excluded from this.
вuт ɪ αм ғαя ғяѳм ρєяƒє¢т....
.....◦◦ Style-wise, she's a frenzied fighter who goes all out regardless of what the situation calls for- This is bad, because while she has a relatively high mana pool to begin with, she will go through it extremely fast since she is melee-caster who needs mana for all of her abilities. If she runs out of mana completely, her keyblade will disappear until she gains some back. She can cast all of her magic without her keyblade and has no issues fighting without it, as she can use her shield to defend herself and channel her spells.

wнɪℓε тнɪs aℓℓ ʙєgαи as...
.....◦◦ A wonderful dream. Then, it became an endless one.
A long, long time ago, far longer than she can even remember, Iazel was part of a huge family, with eight brothers and two sisters. Altogether, eleven children. She was the second youngest of the bunch, and led the toughest gang in town. Well, that's what they thought, anyway. They were the only gang in town, and were pretty much just a bunch of young squirts who ran around having a blast. Considering the nature of Traverse town, most of the people she knew were orphans who had lost their worlds. As they all grew older, the big group split apart, until all Iazel had left were two people- Her best friends in the world, Cloria and Yulan. She may not remember their names now, but she remembers the bond they had, and just how close they were.

On her fifteenth birthday, the day she thinks got Closet from her parents, she started having dreams. Stained glass platforms, fighting beasts that she'd only ever heard of from her friends when they told stories about their worlds. A warm metal key in her hand that she felt so close to that it was almost an extension of her. She wasn't sure what to make of it all, but confided in her friends, who seemed interested, though none of them could really figure it out either. The cryptic dreams kept going, getting longer and more clear with each night. Eventually, it dawned on her; She was being trained. For what, she didn't know. But every dream was a tougher fight than the last, with more to learn. She stopped telling her friends about them, since she didn't want to worry either one.

Eventually, the dreams started getting longer, and she began sleeping more. Sometime she wouldn't wake up until she'd done certain tasks. By the time she was seventeen, she could go for days without waking up, lost in those strange dreams. Everyone was worried- Her family, and her friends. But Iazel wanted to learn more and get stronger. That is, until the day she fell asleep and never woke up. In her dreams, she was fighting through a labyrinth and using everything she'd ever learned, putting all of her skills to the test. In the waking world, she was in a coma. Years when by, and everyone waited for her to wake up. While everyone and everything around her aged and changed, she didn't. Eventually, her parents couldn't stand looking at their daughter, anymore. It was like seeing her dead.

They built a small mausoleum for her beneath their house, and wound up expanding into the secret waterway, though they sealed it off the best they could. Years went by though, and generations of the family lived, died, and then dwindled out. Deep beneath, Iazel lay forgotten in a dark cobblestone mausoleum, with Closet as her only company. In her dreams, her trial was at it's end. She'd slaughtered the beast that had been beating her back for so long, and climbed a bright, floating stairway to a warmly light platform, illuminating a small pedestal that held the blade she'd been fighting with this entire time. Looking down, she was surprised to see her hand empty. She was certain she'd had it when she climbed up the steps. Turning her gaze back to the pedestal, she felt every fiber in her body urged her forward, and she followed the instinct. Walking forward, she grabbed the blade.

Her eyes opened, but all she saw was black. Hearing running water and all sorts of other things, it was obvious that she'd been buried. Why, she didn't know- Iazel didn't really remember anything, other than blurs of faces and how to fight. Determined to find out why she was apparently buried alive, she gave the lid of what she could only assume to be her coffin a forceful kick to pop it open, then slid the heavy stone off. It was time to get out of here.

"Surely they didn't think I'd sleep forever..."
Mᴏᴏᴅ: Neutral bordering on unhappy... Dᴏɪɴɢ: Wandering the waterway Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Traverse Town; Secret Waterway Nᴇᴀʀ: No one, as far as she knows

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

Deep into that darkness peering, Iazel's first instinct was to brush the soft bit of cobweb off her face. It wasn't sticky enough to be spiderweb, and for that, she was thankful. Just the thought of all those legs skittering over her while she slept made her shudder. Gross! The second was to run her hand against the smooth marble- The lid to her coffin, she figured. Coffin. She hadn't died. But she hadn't woken up either. In her mind, she could picture smiling faces, and then worried ones. Though she couldn't think of their names, the blonde knew that she cares about these people, and that they cared about her. For them to bury her like this, it must've taken a very long time for her to wake up. "They could've given me a glass coffin. Or put me in a bed..." She thought, raising her leg as much as she could before she slammed her armored foot into the lid jarring it open just a bit. Cool air crept in through the crack, along with the scent of water and dust. Placing her hands on the smooth marble, she gave it a hard push and slowly slid the heavy slab of stone to the left, just enough for her to sit up and take a look around.

The room was an absolute mess. Moss was everywhere, the floor was flooded, and it was a miracle the roof hadn't caved in yet. One thing caught her eye, however, and she walked over to the corner. Untouched by moss, cobwebs, or any of the dirt that would normally be present in a room like this,
sat Closet, shut tight. Iazel almost didn't recognize her treasure chest with it's lights off. Maybe it had been sleeping too. Kneeling down, she put her hand on the birdlike crest that served to unlock the lid, and watched it come to life. Lightning up like a beacon, the chest pulsed and emitted a low hum followed by several chirps.

Running her hand over the lid, she smiled softly. "I'm happy to see you too, Closet." The summon never spoke in words. Quite frankly, she wasn't sure what it had been saying. But at least one of the things she remembered was here, with her. "Do you still have all my stuff?" She asked, tilting her head. The chest lit up brightly in response, chiming twice. Of course it did. What a silly question. "I can always trust you for that, at least." Her gaze trailed to her hand, and finally, it ticked. Armor. She was used to it, but she only ever wore it when she dreamed. Lifting her hand, she inspected it with a frown. It shouldn't have been in the waking world- She only wore it when she fought. Gulping, she wondered what else might have become real too. As brave as Iazel was, she just couldn't muster muster the courage to attempt to summon her blade. Deep down, though, she knew that if she tried, she would. She woke up, she'd passed the test.

Standing up, she dusted off her knees the best she could- Why, oh why did she decide to kneel in this gross water? What if this was a sewer? She didn't think so, considering the fact that it was clear and blue, but that still didn't mean it was clean. Looking down at Closet, she held her hand out over her living chest and spoke, "Let's get out of here. Can you give me a towel?" God, she had to have a towel. Or something in there. If not... Her eyes widened as the chest's light changed it's color to red, and her jaw dropped. "I don't have a towel? Any kind of towel? Don't do it, ple-" Iazel's pleading turned into a yelp as the chest opened and unleashed an ice cold splash of water, dousing the girl. "I just woke up! Give me a free pass!" She exclaimed, although she knew that this was just how Closet worked. It wasn't allowed to bend the rules. Maybe it was just karma for sleeping so long. Iazel glared at the chest as it disappeared in a puff of grey smoke, then sighed. What a pain in the a**.

Now wet and cold, she walked out of the room through one of the crumbling walls and was met with the sight of one long, dark, cobblestone path that stretched both ways. Water lined the bottom of it as well. Oh. The waterway. Of course. It seemed like it hadn't been used in a while, though. Or at least, not this part. Vaguely, she remembered exploring it and playing hide and seek with her friends, but not enough to really put any of those memories to use.
Wrapping her arms around herself to warm up a bit, she went right and started walking down the tunnel.

Mᴏᴏᴅ: Neutral Dᴏɪɴɢ: Slaughtering heartless Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Traverse Town; Second District Nᴇᴀʀ: No one, as far as she knows

Iazel trudged through the water, annoyed. When she'd taken the right side of the path, it just wound up in a dead end. Figures. Stuff like that always happened. So, now she was just making her way back. Passing by the room she'd been asleep in, she took a quick glance and noticed something she hadn't before- There was a door, although it looked like it had been sealed off some time ago. It looked like something one of her brothers would have carved. Looking at it bothered her. How did she miss that when she first woke up? More disturbing than that, though, was knowing she had a brother, but not knowing his name. Frowning, Iazel turned her gaze back forward, willfully ignoring the room. Maybe one day, she'd come back and try to figure out what exactly had happened. Or, maybe not. Quickening her pace, she walked through the ankle deep water and walked, walked, walked until the room was out of sight and out of mind.

The waterway was nowhere as big as it used to be- Some parts seemed to have been sealed off. Once she got to parts she recognized, it was a piece of cake getting out. Just a few turns here and there, and she was out. Or, well, close. She could see the old entrance that she and her friends used to use. What were their names again? The brown haired girl, and the blonde boy. Playing in here all the time, splashing in the water. One memory that stuck out was pushing the boy in. When she'd gone to help him up, he pulled her in too. The brown haired girl had laughed so hard she seemed like she was gonna cry. A smile played at her lips at the thought. What the hell were their names? These people were important, so why...? As quickly as it came, the smile was gone and she was on her way, walking through the water and out of a square entrance. It seemed like there'd been bars blocking it at some point- Somebody busted straight through them, though. She took a step over the remnants of the bars and took in the sight of Traverse Town and how it had grown. Iazel was in the second district, she knew that. But only because she knew that this was where the waterway connected to. If she hadn't, she wouldn't have known where in the world this was, because she didn't recognize anything.

Either a lot of time had passed, or there had been some recent remodeling, because she had no idea what building was which. Wasn't there a hotel somewhere around here? Maybe if she went there, she could get some idea of what year it was? At least she remembered the time when she went to sleep. It couldn't have been that long, considering the fact that she hadn't aged. One wayward glance into the water was enough for her to know that.
It was like she'd only fallen asleep yesterday. She peered down into the water, reading her reflection like a book. Staring intently, it was hard not to notice the small purple portal open behind her. Whirling around, she faced the assailant- Heartless, she already knew that. Iazel's keyblade was already in her hand before she knew it, appearing in a glimmer of light as a bunch of Shadows pooled up from the ground. She narrowed her eyes.

"Small fry. Don't you know who you're messing with?" She asked imperiously, drawing up one hand, letting it tingle with electricity. This would be way too easy. Flicking her hand like one might a flea, the wave of electric power splintered off and went up into the air. The seven shadows before her barely had any time to move before her expertly cast Thundaga shocked them off the face of the planet. From shadows to cinders, if she had to put it into words. If the Heartless here wanted to take her down, they'd need something stronger. As if on queue, more rose up from the ground, and Iazel smiled. She lunged forward into the group, sweeping Everglim back and forth like she was brushing away dust. After all, it was all they were to her- Dust. Weak. This warrior had slept for far too long. She needed something exciting, something big. "Something to die for." She whispered, cutting through the weak like they were meant to be culled. All the while, she made her way slowly towards where she thought the hotel was.

"Surely they didn't think I'd sleep forever..."
Mᴏᴏᴅ: Calm, if a bit bored. Dᴏɪɴɢ: Deleting heartless off the face of the planet. Lata b***h! Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Traverse Town; Second District Nᴇᴀʀ: Somewhat close to Mayday and Qhuinn, they are close enough to hear all the thunder and probably see some flashes.

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

Lightning, lightning everywhere. Or at least, that's was Iazel's intent. As fast as they popped out of the ground, shadows and soldiers alike were zapped out of existence before they could move. By now, though, it seemed like her inky little enemies were getting the hint and starting to bring out the heavy stuff. Large bodies, while strong, were still pretty basic as far as she was concerned, but she couldn't complain. At least it was something strong. Well, for the area, at least. Truth be told, she should've been worried- There had never been things like this before she went to sleep, not here. So why now? Perhaps her world had fallen? Quite frankly, Iazel wasn't sure what exactly happened to a world when it fell. Maybe she didn't remember, or she just never learned. Facing the large body, she inspected it, trying to gauge it's next move. Would it charge? Jump at her? Try to mow her down? The list was short, but that was just how basic small fry were. Frontal immunity to the basic swing from a keyblade would've been an issue... If not for the fact that her attacks dealt magic damage, instead. Always a surprise, that one.

Suppressing a yawn, she waited patiently for the over sized Heartless to make it's move. Shadows popped up around them, making a small circle, almost like an arena. That... Was weird. It was like they were waiting and watching. Heartless didn't think like that. They were probably just waiting for an opening, not wanting to fall to the same fate as their brethren. She used to think that they were just mindless creatures who threw themselves at things relentlessly, but throughout her time in the labyrinth, she'd learned that they could be pretty crafty when under pressure, which was part of why she'd taken such a long time to get out of that maze to begin with. Still instinct driven, but it was actually almost impressive. Almost being the key word, since most of their attempts had some kind of glaring weakness that could be deduced pretty easily, as long as you were perceptive.

Still, this wasn't a dream anymore, and she wasn't about to waste time by letting them follow through with their plan, whatever it was. Slowly, the shadows crept forward, tightening the ring and slinking low to the ground, like they wanted to hide from the lightning they knew would come. No, not hide... Channel it into the bigger target, maybe? What a bold little plan. "Smart, but that only works with real lightning." She stated, although she doubted that they understood. "Mine is magic, so better luck next time." Ignoring her, they all leaped for her at once, aiming for her feet. In reaction, she jumped over them, kicking off from the ground and going straight for the large body from the front, Everglim raised high in the air. The golden fork at the end of the keyblade began to glow, and the potent smell of electricity filled the air. If the large body had hair, it would be standing on end as a yellow bolt of lightning shot down with a bright flash of light right as she swung her keyblade into the bulky beast. The force of the blow knocked it down, while a shockwave from the lightning blasted out in a circle, taking out the shadows. The only survivor was, of course, the large body. Magic damage or not, it's name wasn't for nothing. Standing on top of it's belly, Iazel dug her heels in and raised Everglim in both hands, bringing the keyblade down on the heartless' head with brutal force. A killing blow. Before it's body faded away, she jumped backwards, landing on her feet as she watched. Once it was gone, she sighed. Where were the worthy?

Well, the heartless seemed to be sufficiently cowed for now, since nothing had popped up since the Large Body's flashy death. Now, to head to the hotel and finally get some answers, while she could still make progress. Stretching a bit to get some kinks out, she turned to go, but stopped. Light pit pats pounding on asphalt. Very light. Had to be bare- Socks made more muffled sounds. The blonde boy told her something like that, once. "Hey! Heeeeeyyyy!" Came a voice from the unknown. For a second, Iazel thought she was imagining things, that it was just more memories popping up. A voice here, in this carnage? Couldn't be real, could it? Whirling around, she faced the source with a surprised expression- A girl, somewhat close to her age, it looked like. "Well. Close to how old I look, anyway..." She had her arm up, waving a greeting. Iazel tilted her head, looking a little puzzled, but raised her shielded arm up and gave a tentative wave back. What was this girl doing out here in a place that was obviously just completely infested? As she walked up, Iazel appraised her. Two different colored eyes, cute outfit- Long, long hair... The warrior felt a familiar itch in her fingers, and she let her arm drop to her side.

Looking past her, she saw a figure further behind, still battling Heartless. If she didn't know any better, it almost looked like they were holding a keyblade, but she just couldn't tell from this far away. Swiping away several Heartless with one swing of her arm, the magenta haired woman slowed to a stop about ten feet away and spoke once more. "Have you come to play out here too? What's your name?" Interesting greeting. Kind of quirky, though it wasn't a bad thing. Iazel couldn't help but flash a small half smile as she stuck Everglim in the ground and leaned against it, tilting her head the other way. "Play, huh? I'm just getting my morning workout, I think." She reached out to extend a hand for Mayday to shake, but wound up filling it with sparks as another ring of Shadows welled up around them only to get electrified by her fifteenth Thundaga cast in the last hour. "Ugh, they just can't let anyone be civil for more than half a minute, can they..." She griped as she watched their shadowy little bodies disappear.

Having sufficiently fried them, she picked up Everglim and walked towards Mayday, extending her hand once more. "I'm Iazel, nice to meet you." She stated, coming to a stop about a foot or so away- Whatever trust issues Mayday had, it was clear that Iazel didn't seem to have any. "It's nice to see someone else taking out the trash. I haven't really had much time to." Well, that was some way of putting it. Bits and pieces of her wondered if the reason there were so many Heartless here was because she'd been asleep and unable to fight. And... Weren't Heartless drawn to keyblades? Something about them being a homing beacon...? Realization dawned on her, and though it didn't show on her face, an ice cold shiver ran down her spine and her hair rose on end. Not wanting to think about the possibility, she spoke up once more. "So, you know my name, now- Wanna tell me yours? And uh, you wouldn't happen to know the date, would you?"

Mayday. Cute name, it seemed like it fit her pretty well, too. Iazel quirked a brow as the doll-like girl took her hand and curtsied, but smiled nonetheless. She'd never seen anyone do that in a while, not since she was really young and still playing make believe with her friends, acting out stories like some kind of play. The girl's reaction to her question about the piqued Iazel's interest, though. Confusion, nervous laughter... She seemed a little insecure about something, but the warrior wasn't sure what, and she wasn't going to press any sensitive subjects by asking. "I uhh... I don't really know. Let's just say I've been cooped up somewhere all my life. Living under a rock!" Oh boy, did she understand that. The blonde chuckled."I think we're in the same boat, here." She stated, shrugging her shoulders. She didn't really have any secrets to keep, but figured it would be a little weird to tell her about the whole mausoleum thing so soon after meeting. "Making more friends I see. It's September twenty-second." Iazel perked up. He didn't give the year, but she'd gone to sleep in December, so at the minimum, it was about one year. "That's still not enough time for all this to change so drastically, though..." She thought, the barest hint of a frown showing up on her face, though it turned into a smile as Mayday's companion introduced himself.

Extending her hand out to Qhuinn to shake, she glanced around the area, keeping an eye out for more Heartless. The coast seemed clear, for now. "Thank you," She said, referring to both the date and the compliment. "I'm Iazel, nice to meet you." Turning her gaze from one to the other, she couldn't help but think they were a cute pair. They both even had one green left eye, albeit different shades. "They match!" She thought. Did they plan the outfits together, maybe? Mayday's voice brought her out of her thoughts, though. Kinda cute, huh? Shadows were kind of cute, in their own little way. It was a shame they brought so much destruction.

"Those monsters are called Heartless." She explained, her expression serious as she crossed her arms. "My information on them is pretty basic- I only know what I've been told." Iazel hadn't really had time to learn much else, yet. "Some are born from darkness- Those little Shadows, you saw. Others are hearts that have been consumed by darkness or when a Heartless steals the heart." She continued. "From what I've come to understand, the ones with the emblem are the ones that are made from hearts, though I could be wrong. Any without the hearts are born from darkness." Looking around, she frowned. "Regardless of how they were born, the Heartless all share one common goal- To take more hearts to make more Heartless. That's why it seems like it never ends. They also desire the Hearts of worlds, I've been told." Hopefully, that was a thorough enough explanation. She was merely sharing what she'd learned in her dreams. "Long story short, if you see them, don't hesitate to cut lose- Just don't forget that there are always more ready to pile on you, so don't get careless."

"Surely they didn't think I'd sleep forever..."
Mᴏᴏᴅ: Grateful, worried, untrusting Dᴏɪɴɢ: Thinking about pros and cons Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Traverse Town; Second District Nᴇᴀʀ: Mayday, a girl with blue eyes and brown hair, and some... weird guy in a black cloak.

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

“Iazel..” The weakness in voice cut through the blonde girl like a knife. “What do we do? We… we need to get out of here..” They did. They had to. But they couldn't. She finished retching and tried to get to her feet, only to have a second round flow up and bring her to her knees. All throughout her dreams, she'd never once had to deal with anything like this. She felt woefully under prepared, and wondered if maybe she was paying the price for not learning as much as she could or something. That maybe she'd woken up too early. To think that they could be reduced to this so soon after seeming so cool and flashy before. Oh, how the mighty fell. "A-Ano, if you can hear me, I-I'm here to help!" The girl's voice sounded close, and Iazel managed to finally get her body to stop. She'd had nothing in her stomach before this, and even though the taste was still in her mouth- And twice as bad, now- any rain she'd swallowed was long gone. The blonde sat up, wiping her hand over her mouth. God, if they lived through this, she was going to have to see if Closet had mouthwash. Or bleach.

As she got her breath back, the rain slowly faded away, along with the dark clouds that came along with it. Not long after, a girl came running into the room, asking if they were alright. She didn't even have time to warn her about the two Heartless right outside the doorway, as they growled at the girl, alerting her to their presence. She tried to get to her feet again, hoping that since the rain was gone, she'd at least have some strength left. Iazel managed to cling to the wall for support, standing just long enough to have a full view of their savior eliminating the smaller, puppy-like heartless as it leaped towards her. Maybe it was wrong for the situation, but she couldn't help smiling. With one arrow, Iazel knew. "We're in good hands." She thought as she let go of the wall and limped over to Mayday, kneeling next to her. The warrior watched as the taller dog was hit with pillars of light, and then with three arrows. The way it disappeared was a little different, come to think of it- Along with the smaller one. Every other heartless she'd seen die had gone out in a puff of shadow, these two went out with something that looked like a small purple portal, like they were returning somewhere.

She didn't remark on it as the girl came back in and healed their wounds. Instead, she just did what was polite. "Thank you for saving us." She said, watching the cold water wash over both her and Mayday with a small glow. The oil slicked away, and she suddenly felt like a whole new person. "I'm Iazel, this is Mayday. We have a third companion, his name is-" She cut off as a man in a black cloak came into the house. Due to her whole sleeping circumstances, she'd never once heard any stories about black cloaks, and she had no reason to be on guard because of that. No, it was the way he talked about Qhuinn that made her think that this guy wasn't exactly the most trustworthy around. Even though she knew that both Mayday and this girl were capable fighters, Iazel stepped in front of both. She didn't bother with a protective stance, and simply figured that the action alone was enough to let the guy know how she felt about his presence.

"Do you wish to find your companion?" Ever perceptive, Iazel couldn't help but feel like this man was going out of his way to conceal his actual voice. "Do you wish to find the boy keyblader? Do you have the resolve?" The question made her frown, and she furrowed her brow. "Implying that you know where he is, and that you've been watching for some time." She stated as she crossed her arms, wondering just how much the guy saw. On one hand, the thought of being seen at her weakest was a bit embarrassing. On the other, what kind of person saw two people suffering like that and didn't help? It made her doubt this person's trustworthiness. But if he knew where Qhuinn was, there was no choice but to listen to what he had to say. "Of course we want to find him. He's our friend." She hoped Mayday wouldn't mind her speaking for both of them. But, maybe the guy wasn't their only lead? Looking to the girl with brown hair, she smiled, pretending to ignore the cloaked man for the moment, though she kept him in view. "I was going to ask, but you didn't happen to see a boy with black hair, did you? He has one blue eye and one green eye. Kind of hard to miss." If she didn't know anything, then they would have to trust Mister Mysterious. Iazel sincerely hoped they didn't have to. Running around trusting creepy men wasn't something she wanted to do.

"Surely they didn't think I'd sleep forever..."
Mᴏᴏᴅ: Contemplative, sober Dᴏɪɴɢ: Following their mystery guide into the portal Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Traverse Town; Second District-> Corridor Nᴇᴀʀ: Mayday, a girl with blue eyes and brown hair, and someone she isn't quite sure if she can trust yet.

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

Iazel flinched at Mayday's reaction. It was hard to stomach seeing so much raw emotion. She wondered what would've happened if the girl who rescued them didn't go to comfort her. She may not have known where Qhuinn was, but that was fine. All it meant was that they for sure had to listen to this stranger, now. It was kind of funny, actually. She'd only been awake for... About an hour, if she had to put a word on it. The fact that so much had happened in such a short time was a little hard to grasp. Still, she maintained a calm and neutral expression. Maybe she'd look calm enough for all three of them. It didn't really matter, though. The guy walked out back through the door and faced them once more when he was further away. Frowning as he spoke, she tried to understand what exactly he was talking about. Whatever that place was, it wasn't anything she'd ever been told about in her dreams. One thing stuck out, in particular- A never ending battle with the heartless. "Familiar enough." She muttered, her frown deepening. She'd had enough of a never ending battle already. Did she really need to go and risk getting into another one? Well... Yes. She'd only known Mayday and Qhuinn for an hour, and she wasn't sure if she could genuinely say they were friends or anything. They just reminded her of those other two so much that she went and let herself get swept up by it all, going with the flow. Regardless, she liked both of them and just felt kind of... Protective, if she had to put a word on it.

The strange man opened a portal, and she realized that it seemed like a larger version of what happened when those two dogs disappeared. Staring in, she felt a cold shiver go up her spine. "Deep, dark, sleep." She thought, averting her eyes from the portal and instead, looking at their strange acquaintance as he pulled his hood down and revealed his blindfold. As he spoke to them, he brought up several points, like he was half trying to encourage them to go after their friend, and half trying to persuade them not to. Iazel didn't appreciate how cryptic it all seemed at all, but at this point, there really wasn't any other choice left. But... "Okay then, guide, do your stuff..." She muttered as he walked through the portal. Always uphill battles. It would be all too easy to brood about the ones she'd already been through for days, adding another one to the list would be no trouble at all.

Looking back at the two others girls, she forced a smile. "This really isn't the best situation for us, you know? It's dangerous, and I know you both can handle yourselves, but... Just be careful, okay?" She looked back at the portal. "I'm gonna head in first." Without another word, she walked forward into the portal, ignoring the way it made every single hair on her body prickle. It was nothing compared to the way the rain had made her feel, though. Now that was a nightmare. This place was easily comparable, though, wherever it was. Iazel didn't feel all too good to be here, either, although she wasn't quite sure why. Looking back towards the portal, she waited for the other girls to come through before following after their mystery guide. Hopefully there was nothing annoying to deal with. They'd wasted enough time already between killing the guard armor and dealing with that fiasco in the house.

.....◦◦ Summons: Iazel has only one summon, and it's purely for utility. Closet is a chest that upon being summoned, will function as an infinite inventory. Getting a surprise also un-summons the box, and Iazel will have to wait a while before summoning it again.
.....◦◦ Special Skills:
Levinfall- Iazel dives into the targeted enemy as a bolt of thunder hits them, knocking them down and dealing magic damage in a shockwave. Enemies hit by this will be winded for one turn, lowering their damage dealt by half. It will also knock down people next to them if they were within six feet.
Siphoning Blade- Melee hits from Everglim have passive lifesteal, draining health by 1/5 of the damage dealt. Melee hits deal magic damage rather than physical damage.
Dim- Conjures a ball of dull light that can either be transfixed to one spot as a source of light, or thrown at someone. When an enemy is hit with dim, they are dazzled for one post, rendering them blind and lowering their accuracy.

.....◦◦ Magic: Cura, Thundaga and Reflect.
.....◦◦ Keyblade: Everglim is the weapon she wields, as seen in the picture with her. Heartless and Nobodies slain by Iazel's magic will be permadead, so she is not limited to using deathblows via her keyblade.
It should be added that Iazel does not need her keyblade to cast her abilities, but since they all take mana, it's not that helpful when she runs out.

.....◦◦ Traverse Town
wнɪℓε тнɪs aℓℓ ʙєgαи as...
.....◦◦ A wonderful dream.

On her fifteenth birthday, the day she got Closet from her parents, she started having dreams.

Mᴏᴏᴅ: Calm, Dᴏɪɴɢ: Listening intently during story time Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Corridor of Darkness Nᴇᴀʀ: Mayday, Aelita, and their "tour guide"

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎

As they walked, Iazel made a point of keeping herself between their strange guide and the other girls at all times, though she did attempt to keep it subtle. Either way, she was sure that he knew that he was nowhere near trustworthy, at this point. He'd have to be daft not to. As he kept explaining though, she let down her guard a little. The new information was interesting, but some of it went over her head. For example, what the hell was a gummi ship? She'd ask later, maybe. Once they had Qhuinn back. Actually, she'd probably just ask Qhuinn and then default to asking their mystery friend if Qhuinn didn't know. His warning about needing a cloak like his or keyblade did not fall on deaf ears, and she made sure both of the girls behind her were very close. If she'd known something like that, she wouldn't have let them go at all. But, as long as she was strong enough for both of them, it would be fine. She glared at the wall of dusks ahead with a frown. Such strange things.

She'd never seen a nobody before this. The woman who had been talking to her in her dreams didn't say anything about them- The only enemies she'd ever told Iazel about were the Heartless, and the Heartless alone. The man mentioned girls- Plural. Iazel quirked a brow in response, but said nothing. So he'd seen their friend get kidnapped? Perhaps he was weak, and that's why he didn't help. It seemed more likely than anything else she could think up. "The Guard Armor was the weakest thing I've faced in a long while, not counting the worthless minions that haunt the streets. We'll be fine. I'll keep us safe." She stated calmly, eyeing the wall of dusks before them. The warrior wasn't gloating- By the tone of her voice alone, it was clear that she was just being honest. Her magic would easily dispose of anything on such a weak tier, swarm or not. As he explained more, she pondered on what it all meant. This seemed like such important information, stuff she should've known and been prepared for. And yet, here she was, being taught like some kid in school. It wasn't a bad feeling per se- She enjoyed learning. It offered room to grow. But this just felt so rushed. Iazel wanted to know more. There was no time to ask questions, though. Their enemies had noticed them, and the blonde bit back a sigh. It was all coming together, now.

The boy's next words made it all the more clear. Iazel thought the trials had ended when she woke up, but the universe was always happy to send out more tests. Fight for what she believed in? Quite frankly, she didn't believe in anything, at the moment. All of this was a lot to munch on, but she patiently waited for him to finish talking. She eyed the horde as it grew ever closer, all the while thinking of what to say. "You know... I just woke up an hour and... ten minutes ago. I don't even know what year it is, and you're here asking me and my friends all of these philosophical questions that sound like they were ripped out of a fairy tale." Although the words might sound accusatory, or even insulting, she it was clear that she was just kind of bothered by the situation, judging by her tone. She went quiet as her keyblade materialized in her hand. "Besides, you shouldn't ask questions you already know the answer to. Because, it's obvious. Clearly, we are going to carve a path. You wouldn't have brought us here, otherwise." Resolve, tested. Results; High as hell, apparently, because the second the last word was out of her mouth, her keyblade was alight with electricity. Sparks rolled off of the blade and faded away as they hit the darkness that was the ground. Whatever these things were, they were clearly small fry, and thus would be zapped to dust just like the rest.

Perhaps it was not the wisest decision to jump straight into a pile of enemies that she'd never encountered before, but Qhuinn's life was on the line. There was no point in not going all out. The faster they got through with this, the faster they would get to Qhuinn, and the faster they could learn what was going on. And, maybe, just maybe, she'd finally learn what year it was. All of this, and so much more, strengthened her resolve as she ran into the fray and leaped high. Her keyblade crackled menacingly as she descended upon a single dusk in the middle of the group, completely frying it with electricity as her keyblade made contact with it's strange, grey body. The creature didn't stand a chance as it was instantly vaporized, and the resulting wave of magic sent a good chunk of it's comrades falling backwards. The attacks of the few left standing were warded off by a swift, well timed reflect spell as Iazel got up and looked expectantly at the members of her group before dodging, weaving, and cleaving through the enemies like this whole thing was a game of electric tag.
