The story in which we will be playing in takes place amongst the second great shinobi war. Although we will throw in a few modded details here and there, for the most part our world is the same as the Naruto universe up until the second great shinobi war.
Meaning: Hashirama and Madara had their battle and founded the great shinobi villages. Why the second great shinobi war came about will be different and will be found out at a later date, in game. Just because a certain bloodline is only found in one village doesn't mean you can't have that bloodline, for example: If you wanted the uchiha clan bloodline and still be apart of the village hidden in the mist it is totally do able.
Our story takes place in the Village Hidden in the Mist & the Land of Water. A land made up of lots of small islands surrounding a larger island. Most travel to and from the Land of Water is by boat. Making invasion from other villages almost near impossible. Their reputation for being the Blood Mist Village, comes from here. The seven swordsman of the Mist are still active and none are currently rogue shinobi.
In a separate forum will be a thread for the other members of the village and other members of society that we will come into contact with.
The Plot: You are a young Genin of the age of 13, fresh out of the academy. Your instructions are to wake up to the new day and report to the Mizukage for your headband and to be appointed to your shinobi team and meet your new Sensei. I'm not revealing too much for I want it to be a sort of surprise.
