▎With a past life far too blurry to ever recall, Yumi spends her days focused on the present and those with her. Family is all she has, and she'll cherish it as best as she can, even if the others have their own doubts.
▎Often taking on the role of mediator with only moderate success, getting the others to get along has always been her goal. Her stubborn personality allows her to strive into her endeavors with blind hope and ill preparation. All while attempting to play nice, more often than not stubborn lack of participation in her events lead to a headbutt in the gut...so much for playing nice all the time...
▎Her own aspirations are just as high as her expectations for everyone in her family to get along (so about as tall as Mount Fuji). She loves to perform to her family, and while she always wondered if life outside the estate would allow her a bigger audience, Yumi knows that family comes first above all.

The first word most family members would conjure up to describe Yumi first off is stubborn, hard-headed, or adamant. There is no going around her plans, unless the Jade God herself says otherwise.

While her stubbornness is the most notable characteristic, more often than not, Yumi's sincere desires are the driving force. She's not one for personal secrets, so her expression is usually an honest indicator of her mood.

"B-b-but I thought they were friendly and only ate bamboo!"
"Nope! That's a huge misconception. They prefer smaller prey like children...actually, you're a good size meal for them yourself."

Due to her trusting nature with family, anything anyone tells her, she's very susceptible to believe. She considers her trust in them as a positive trait, but everyone else around her can see otherwise.

"Your hair looks weird."
"Oh, it's supposed to look this way! When I'm in the sun, it shines radiantly, don't you think?"
"..."
Yumi looks good and she knows it! No amount of bad lip from a family member can get her down. She's well aware of her capabilities and will use them as best as she can.

"For the last time, go away!"
*breaks open the door*
"W-wha?"
*headbutts* "You're going to the beach whether or not you have the wind knocked out of you."
"x.x hai hai...."
When mediating doesn't work, or just sheer stubbornness, Yumi isn't afraid to get violent. Not only can she take a hit, but she can throw it right back with the adamant force that is her thick skull.

For all of her faults, Yumi has always known when two people are wrong, two rights have to occur. This isn't necessarily always on violent terms, however. She'll prefer to have everyone sit down over some tea first. If that doesn't work, then it's time for the small girl to attack.
* ⋄ BIOGRAPHY :
█ The Akomuras were a young, vibrant couple with everything going for them. Ichirou played the flute, Amii played the cello, and they both worked for a high-end orchestra. The news that they were going to have a baby girl delighted them. However, things took a turn for the worse when their home caught on fire in the dead of winter, most likely caused by the overuse of heaters. Amii made it out alive, but Ichirou did not, his ashen remains found later in the debris. Amii went on with her pregnancy with small health issues all the way to the day Yumi was born. She came out bright and healthy, but the sight of the child did little to appease the sorrow in Amii's heart. She gave her up, wanting nothing to do with a life of parenting without her husband to help her.
█ Yumi became a warden of the nation of Japan; she was placed into an all-girls orphanage where she remained. Each room was an eight bed facility with little privacy, so it's safe to say there were a lot of arguments which ensued among the children. Yumi became the responsible one, having to mediate arguments among the rest. The girls came and went, but they all remained close-knit, seeing each other as a family unit to replace the ones they don't have. Through it all, Yumi attempted to be the calm one for the family, but tempers rise when around such young and emotionally drive girl's, so she developed a violent streak over time.
█ One thing she always wanted to do was become a music star like her parents before her, subconsciously believing it might be enough for her mother to take her back. It was never enough, as her mother remained dedicated to her new life as a solo celloist. Besides, Yumi kinda...well...sucked at playing instruments. No matter how much practice she put into it, she could never perfect a single one. The thing she could do, however, was sing. Singing her family to sleep every night, singing to herself when she was sad, singing was the one thing she felt connected to. Dancing became a close second, always doing pretend balls and idol performances with the rest of the girls.
█ Yumi desired to become an idol, but with so many children to take care of, it seemed like an impossible dream. Just as she was about to give up her dreams, a local audition for an idol group came along. Her family happily encouraged her to go try out, so out she went...and she never returned.
█ Waking up on the Sekine estate, the setting felt different if only because it was quieter and cleaner. It didn't take much for Yumi to simply assume she had been there her entire life. After all, living with a group of eccentric people not related by blood and calling them her family didn't sound unfamiliar at all.

Yumi's tendency for violence is usually only seen with those just as stubborn as her in the family, and her head dictates how the majority of fights end (hint: it's her). However, there's always that one person who manages to dodge all of her violent attacks. It has gone on long enough! Yumi has decided she needs to plot on how to get one step ahead. How will ________ feel about being dragged into her latest annoying plan? Tune in next Friday at 8 PST to see how our protagonist survives this one!

Yep, Yumi started to cry again over a Disney movie. It's just...they're so beautiful! And the stories are so compelling! But this time, the movie got her to wonder. Unlike these Disney movies, there is no real parental unit in the Sekine household (aside from Momo ━ mother of us all). Just ________'s luck that they stumble upon Yumi in this hour of contemplation, because now she wants your help to figure out what everyone's "role" in the house is, and she isn't one to take no for an answer.

Scary movies are not to Yumi's liking, especially the ones based on true stories. But she's a brave girl! Willing to face her fears, she decided to watch The Conjuring...only to realize she is not as brave as she thought. Now, every shadow is a ghost and every doll is possessed. Seeing no other choice, she goes to ________ for guidance and protection from the "ghosts" on the estate. Will ________ join Yumi in her screams of terror, be a voice of rationality, or perhaps add more horror to the boar's life?
