how will the mythrill coins that are under 10m work if i open them in an account with platinum activated?


The original amount of gold will be granted. So if you have:

100,000,000 gold / 10 plat

and you open mythril coins for 10,000 gold, now you have:

100,010,000 gold / 10 plat

If you open another 100 mythril coins of the same amount you'll see your platinum go up by one.

QUESTION: What's the soft cap or cap on platinum earned per day on games ?


It's a number made from monitoring the current marketplace prices. When the cap is reached, it only slows down earning by a bit and very slowly, it's not a hard stop of any kind.

Good evening everyone! I wanted to make a post on our gold and other cash shops (Not la victore) about giving us the option to purchase more than one item at a time. I purchase power ups from the BackAlley Bargains shop on a frequent basis, and it is incredibly frustrating whenever I am purchasing a large bulk of 100+ powerups at a time. Is there a way we can incorporate bulk options for all shops? Thank you!

No news at the moment, we will probably work on Towns after Gaia Mobile, and we're not sure when we can get to Aquarium yet, as there are a lot of Flash features that need updating.

Is there any way to make Angel subscriptions a bit smoother in terms of subscribing, unsubscribing, upgrading and downgrading? It's currently difficult to unsubscribe and I didn't get a subscribe button until after the old subscription ran out. In my case I wanted to unsubscribe from Gold Wing and subscribe to Halo to stock up on lots of GC and then go back to Gold Wing for the amount I usually want to spend in a given month.

Absolutely, that's something we're looking at addressing.

We need some more torties! There's only one item, and it's incredibly outdated. For all the cat items we have, this is a really sadly low number when there are so many tortie lovers out there!

Same with more recolors of black & tan shibas. I would love to represent my little bundles of fur more with my avatar. Pleaaaase.
I am here for tortie love (Mutie the Cat was my recolor!) I do want to let you know a couple more torts have arrived!

Currently you do get Platinum after having switched over. We will be updating the graphics to reflect the changes soon, just need to get the events out ASAP, as well as the necessary bug fixed for Platinum.

If you're settings are set to platinum you earn platinum. The games do not individually grant money. The icons in the games have not been updated.

Sorry the error was a little more involved than I thought, so I wasn't able to fix it just yet. We are making a lot of changes on the inventory side recently for the mobile app. Hopefully I can track it down soon.

Yesterday Lanzer told us BG was now granting platinum but it is stuck on granting 1 platinum per game no matter how many coins you collect. (right after the fix I was getting about 15 platinum per game but later it was/is only granting 1p per game)

Is this going to be permanent or will it be adjusted?


I didn't get to check since I couldn't find a glowing tank. I'll go back to fixing the bug tonight!

I understand the Platinum currency is new and still being worked out but my question is: the guild sub-forums have skyrocketed in price (from 2,500 G to 25,000,000 G) to accommodate the 2 Platinum it now costs (in that currency type) for each, however, from my understanding the Guild purchase deductions were to remain as is despite currency preferences -- so is this a bug/glitch or is this a permanent change in sub-forum cost?


That's not a glitch. If you switch over the platinum you will be able to pay for those features very easily. We don't mean to change the experience for Gaians with gold currency, but some changes need to be done to avoid exploits, and there's very little reason to stick with gold at the same time compared to the benefits of switching over.

I believe the idea for the forum is that it would essentially be a Chatterbox but for those who qualified for it, we can definitely look into changing the rules of the forum, but it would then start imposing restrictions on what you can post.

Yes! Just make sure to use the same ticket type that was used to create the item~

(We wouldn't be able to exchange a Rainbow Ticket for copies of an item created with a Double Rainbow Ticket. )

Will your email notifications alerts ever come back again? I used them quite often when there were certain alerts with Gaia, members, friends and now since it's gone, it's harder for me and possibly other users to track things when out and about.


We disabled it after we had some trouble with email services thinking that we were sending spam. I'll re-enable it once we setup a good opt-in for notifications.

These should work, however one of the issue with gift cards is that payment systems use address verification to verify you are the one who owns the card. Unless you register the card with your address, there may be issues using it.

The 5% tax is not at all even across the board. If you sell something for 2 Plat, you get taxed 1 Plat. That's 50%, not 5%.

And ys, I understand it is very easy to earn that 1 Plat right back, but I don't think that it's very fair to be punishing people who converted to Platinum by charging them more taxes.


I'll look into it, but it's something I'll look into later, as it's not as pending as the larger errors.

hi! i just wanted to be sure y'all were aware of some difficulties with the angel subscription page. there doesn't seem to be a clear unsubscribe button? it's a big hassle to figure out how to cancel a sub for some reason, so it would be a very big improvement to make sure that a way to cancel is not difficult to find. ^^

So I subbed last month and canceled but would like to re-sub again but there is no button to re-sub. Seems like I'd have to wait until the actual cancellation date passes in order to re-sub. Is there any way that can be changed? I'd like the GC now and can wait till the sub ends and renews for the item. Just wondering if it's at all doable or will messy things up for you guys.

I'll be putting a list together later, though right now there's still a lot to fix on the new currency project, and there's a ton left to do for Gaia Mobile. Hope to free up some time soon!
