I've taken the time to write this guide to good roleplay etiquette. I expect everyone to apply these to their writing whilst in this guild.

I. Txtspeech, chatspeech, asterisk roleplay, and emojis are bad manners when applied to a formal setting. Out of character it's fine, but in character narration should be well thought out without short cuts to the writing. Examples:

No: *Jose walks into bar. Slams fist down on counter* "Get me a drink and make it quick."
Yes: After slamming open the door to the bar, Jose made his way over to the counter. His closed fist met the surface, as he demanded to be served. "Get me a drink, hazlo rĂ¡pido."

No: Rebecca smiled, "lol totally like omg how could he do that to u"
Yes: Rebecca couldn't help but to chuckle at her friend's misfortune, leaning over to grab a nail file from her nightstand. "Totes. I can't believe he stood you up only to be stood up himself the very same night!"

II. Grammar. It should be noted that everyone makes mistakes, but your writing should not be filled with so many grammatical/spelling errors that makes it difficult to read. If you're unsure of how to spell a word, google it. Errors here and there are perfectly fine... But if you don't know the difference between your and you're, then you shouldn't be in this guild.

III. This isn't an anime, so don't write like it. Although this guild is supernatural-in the sense that it accepts s**t like vampires-the roleplay mimics real life. Which means your character will not dodge bullets like the matrix, characters WILL die, and you don't cheerfully stalk your senpai unless your character has deep rooted psychological issues.

IV. Research. Research is one of your best tools when roleplaying. You don't want to make your character a money launderer if you have no idea what money laundering is or how to go about it. Research the basics to money laundering, the slang associated, and how you're going to help your character get away with a federal crime without getting caught.

V. Detailed writing is much more immersive than plain Janes who go the bare minimum and have more dialogue than narration. Describe your surroundings, the behaviors of those around you, NPCs who pass you by, your clothing, and your body language. You are controlling a person (whilst fictional), please don't write like a robot.
