The reason why bbcode was disabled was because of abuse from hackers posting images that pulls user information. (that's why we can't have nice things!) We have restored BBCODE for all other tags but image tags a few days ago.

We haven't looked into that since forever. The team to look into that later.

Sure we can move them to favorites. We used to consider that outfits are avatars that are being shown to public, but having outfits that were never equipped does make sense.

The platinum granting system is governed by a series of code that balances out payout between features, and payout based on marketplace prices. Over time there will be changes to the payout that changes on a day to day basis, and if the payout is still lagging too far behind, we will go in and make some changes manually.

it's too early for us to decide on this right now. Though I do hope that in the long run everyone would enjoy earning more currency and dealing with less zeros. It's a topic slated for later in the year.

Recently there has been an increase in TTS (talk to self) threads in the chatterbox.
Basically it's a thread treated like a diary where users post what they feel, music they like, funny pictures. Kind of like a diary, but public.
Do you think there could be a subforum for these? Some people get annoyed seeing them.

Nope. Chatterbox is specifically for any threads that don't violate the ToS, so we're not gonna implement a subforum to start regulating Chatterbox threads. Sorry!

It's more of an opinion...but...I feel as if the front page is kind crowded? Crowded to the point to where I wanna look past it lol
Like it's too much information in one little space, especially with the bulletin board. I feel that if you want to showcase certain threads or show which threads are being discussed, it would look better as the forum pulse with an author/title, rather than huge clunky boxes.

Yes I think that it need a lot of improvements, and we're making a couple of updates really soon.
The posts are recommended to our mods from its amount of activities and likes. Anything approved by mods will show up on the frontpage!

Since it had, since the switch, disappeared from the page, preventing voting if one hadn't been filled in.
And I had gotten a positive response (that I would pull but mobile), but nothing happened.
So
Could the captcha be readded to the Runway pages so people don't have to run off and make a post on order to vote?

It would make sorting through my collection so much easier. I can only get so much out of organizing my inventory with the current tabs.
And I also agree with this. There's certain games where you can sort stuff by quantity, rarity, price and even most used. What's stop Gaia from doing so ?

I granted myself 60,000 items a few weeks ago! But this was only to test the new mobile app we are building. I've since deleted them. We usually only grant them if we have a reason. Otherwise, we would have to buy them just like everyone else.

We're still waiting on winners for this contest that Zero already admitted to having forgotten about. It's been about a month or two since that time. People have filed tickets, there's been no further response. The first year anniversary is coming up, and the next step participants will have to take to get this finally settled will be filing a complaint to the BBB, not that Gaia Online is even accredited, but I'd say that's the next step before taking it up with the judicial system. FYI, that contest and many other official Gaia contests violate California's Sweepstakes/Contest law so you might want to look into that especially if users do have to go to the BBB to get any sort of resolution.
Anyway, thank you for your time and please, get on the ball. Don't start contests and not deliver within a timely manner. If there are delays, be forthcoming and transparent, admit to them, don't just ignore your users and pretend that if you cover your eyes and can't see us, that means we're no longer there. We're still here, and we very much still see you, even if you refuse to see us.

Lanzer updated the YUI framework to some people who forked it and are continuing to develop it.
That said, I like React. React is efficient, only updating what needs to be updated on the page to not cause a lot of repainting. It leverages a virtual DOM for performance, since a modifying a virtual DOM is far faster than the real DOM.

I played around with React a bit during my hiatus, it is nice. Some of the devs are seriously into angular but I've not had time to dive into it myself yet.
Can we see the React being tried out in Gaia soon? blaugh
I doubt it. As I said the other devs are into Angular, and they sort of fulfill the same purpose.

Would the ticket be able to be used to recolor something like the Snow Leopard Skin from the Uncanny Form Item....Does it count as a Body Mod??
Because I checked over the Rules at least 4 or 5 times, backwards and forwards and up -side down, and I can't seem to find or figure out if they mean I can color that Skin.

Is there going to be a Cap in the new currency?
Or is something that costs 1trillion Gold still going to cost really high numbers in Platinum? (what ever the curency conversion is. I suck at mathing)

If there was a cap it was due to programming and database limitations before, and that had been removed. Don't think there were a cap, and don't think there will be one.

That is definitely possible. Maybe we can have a way to transfer a look in builder to being an outfit in your inventory.
