Berto stretched, the heat of the summer was starting to get thick and heavy, causing him to take naps throughout the day, many naps, one of which he had just woken up for. The wolf starting to hate the heat a little bit as he stood back up his tail curling up over his back it swayed a little bit with his happiness. Sleeping wasn't too bad, he just felt like he wasted all his time snoozing. His tummy rumbled, how long has he been asleep this time?
He smirked to himself, looking around the area quickly before he stuck his nose into his bag and began looking for a snack, he was out of his precious snacks. The look of horror on his face should have brought a chuckle to anyone who was around him. He hated being out of snacks, hunting was hard in the heat, he preferred to do it at night, so he nibbled on mushrooms through out the day to keep himself happy. He was starving after that nap, how had the heat stolen all his stored up energy? The wolf wouldn't ever know.
Berto scanned the horizon again, should he go find more mushrooms or find something better to do. The wolf flicked his ears back and then forward before he began to pick up his paws and head off to find more mushrooms. He had his nose to the ground as he went off to find something to eat, his stomach grumbling as his feet moved forward. He hummed his own song to himself as he moved, he barely realized where he was going, he was just on his way to find a snack, his stomach was thinking for him at this very moment.
With his nose down to the ground he was trying to find anything he found slightly edible, hopefully some of his favorite treat, Mushrooms, we're around. It wasn't likely, the farmer had wandered away from his little farm in the forest. He wasn't sure if he could even find mushrooms around here this time of year but boy was he on a quest. Right up until he walked into another wolf. Word count =362

Dunstan was heading towards the north east territory area, when he noticed this strange looking wolf, not sure if he was confrontational with other males. Dunstan sat for a few moments watching as the other male wolf stuck his nose to the ground sniffing, and seemingly was searching for something along his walk.
Dunstan was not quite sure what the male was seeking, when he began to remember that he was on a mission traveling towards the towards the north east territory area in order to scout out potential den areas, he had forgotten all about the other male, he hoped he could allude it while it seemed distracted by whatever he was doing.
Suddenly he felt the thud of the other male who walked right into him. Dunstan looked down seeing the male wolf and took a ridged stance just in case it were to turn into an altercation. He kept his ears straight up, and stiffened his body, keeping his tail jutted out straight to show he was willing to fight if he had to, but he was trying to conserve himself, as he was trying to prepare himself on the trek into the northeast territory . As such Dunstan was hoping that this encounter would be more friendly so he would not have to enter the northeastern territory in an already injured state.

Aysel just happened to be wandering the area as well, on that day. She wasn't too terribly concerned with finding a pack, a mate, food, or anything in particular. Just... wandering, exploring. Acquainting herself with the area, so to speak. Still, the female had her guard up just in case there were any hostile wolves nearby. She walked with her head up and ears forward, gazing at the landscape around. Though she wasn't really hungry at the moment, she wouldn't say no to food if some small creature suddenly showed itself.
Instead, what she found was two males, apparently facing off. One looked more serious about it than the other, though. Interested, Aysel tilted her head and stared at them both. Then she simple sat down, curling her tail about her paws to wait and see what might happen. Would there be a fight here..? That could be interesting, and either way, she'd probably get to meet someone new.Words: 159

Seraphim wasn't known for being a wanderer, but life tended to throw curveballs when one least expected it. Frustration had turned into full-blown panic, and before Seraphim had known it she had left her den in search of finding him - the one who had changed her life as she knew it. Unfortunately, Seraphim was neither courageous or careful, and such a travel had led her through various obstacles of danger along the way, wearing her thin. It was upon her second week out and about that she felt exhaustion settle deep in her bones, urging her to stop for the night and rest. So she would, or, intended to.
That is, until she spotted from the corner of her eye movement. Trotting through trees and bushes, she came out on the other side to spot two male wolves at a standstill, and a she-wolf watching. Sera's ears twitched, tail swinging lazily behind her as she approached the green she-wolf and settled beside her, caution lost to the wind. There, she watched the two males, her head canted to the side with a whimsical smirk plastered on her muzzle.
What on earth were they doing?
"Friends of yours?" She questioned softly, tone lifted at the edges in a mild curiosity. Words: 209

When the male wolf who accidentally bumped into Dunstan did not show signs of being a foe, Dunstan changed his stance into a more relaxed, and became inquisitive, he started to circle around the male wolf that accidentally bumped into him. Sniffing towards his direction to see if he could familiarize himself with the other males scent since the other male wolf seemed friendly.
" Hello, my name is Dunstan, I am looking to make friends." He extended his paw forward in the air as to display a waving motion with his right front paw.
"May I ask what is your name, and I am also curious as to why you were walking around this territory with your nose to the ground sniffing, is there something specific you are seeking?"
Suddenly Dunstan caught a whiff oh two unfamiliar female wolf scents drifting on a gentle breeze.
He scanned the area to see where they possibly were in the territory's area.
He finally caught sight of the two females and looked over to the male wolf in front of him.
"Are these females with you, if not there is two, and we can approach them to try to get familiar with them, and if it is to your liking along the way you could tell me about your peculiar adventure you were on just now."
Dunstand sat for a moment and Looked at the other male. "On second thought why don't we ask the females to come over to meet us?"
Before Dunstan waited for the response of the other male wolf he let out a baritone howl "Hello over there, why don't you two come over here, and meet me, and my new friend." Word Count: 283

Once Berto picked his head up and shook the shock of bumping into someone out of his head he looked up, seeing a wolf who looked like he was ready to fight worried the creamy colored wolf. He hopped back a little, his tail lowering and he flicked his large ears forward and then tucked them tightly back against his skull. ”Whoa man, wait a second, don’t eat me!” Of course he was sure that cannibalism was fake, He didn’t want to die today. He was too hungry to die.
”I ain’t trying to start nothing, man. I’m just looking for some snacks!” Maybe if he stated his purpose to the dark male, He wouldn’t get himself in much trouble. Looking over the other wolf he noticed the bells hanging from his tail, How did he ever sneak around with bells attached to him, how did he hunt? This perplexed the male for a moment. He lost his train of thought, eyes on the shiny silver bells.
”Where’d ya get those bells man? I dig those bells dude!” He almost looked back at the other’s red eyes and smiled softly. “ I”m Berto, dude. What’s going on? Where ya going? What’s happenin?” An onslaught of question from the wolf whose mind wandered. He had once been hungry, now he was interested in what the other had to say to him about all of the words that fell from his mouth. He stopped for a second, drawing in a deep inhale as he watched the red eyed male. ”Hi! How are ya?” It was then that the other male began to speak of the females he smelt and Berto let his nose find the smell in the air looking over at both females, both teal somehow. ”Hiya ladies!” He beamed behind cream fur, smiling as big as the wolf could, bowing slightly in their direction, ”You aren’t here to eat me either…. right?” Ya know just incase someone had Berto on the menu today, He wasn’t hungry anymore or at least he couldn’t remember wanting snacks now, there were too many others around for his mind to go in one direction right now. Cleo was walking home from a nice walk in the flower garden. The smell of flowers really relax her from a long day of doing chores. She heard some noises in the distance and she pointed her noise in the air and started sniffing, she can smell other. " Mm others I wander what they are doing out here." She continued to walk toward the noise. She got closer and went in stealth mode. She crept her way into a push for cover and peeked through a opening in the bush.*ohh exciting, I need to make a good impression* she said in her head and she smiled. She backed out of the bush she was hiding in and started to roll in flower she has seen to get the smell of flowers on her. Sera hadn't expected attention to flip to them so quickly, her ears perking as her head canted to the side. "Us?" Her tail gave a brief, friendly wag as she stood. It was the other wolf, the one with cream fur, that distracted her, her tail picking up in speed at his amicable greeting.
"Eat you? Pppppft." A short, breathy giggle escaped her as she closed both her eyes against her laugh. Could wolves even eat other wolves? Was that a thing? G-r-o-s-s! Her head shook rapidly, a paw raising to wipe away a singular tear. "No - we aren't, or, I'm not? Maybe she is." She nudged the green wolf next to her gently, chancing the soft touch. Personal space? What was that.
Her eyes caught a new wolf approaching, nose wrinkling slightly in amusement at the strut performed by the redder-toned femme. Oho? For a brief second, Seraphim crossed her front paws in absent mimicry of the other, head tilting. Oh, that looked difficult, how was the other walking so.... confidently. Seraphim would trip all over herself!Words: 178

Aysel blinked in slight surprise when the males suddenly broke off their aggressive posturing and started talking instead. Then one addressed the two of them, and her ears flicked forward with interest. She laughed at the eating commentary and shook her head. "No, no. Not planning to eat anyone here. Now if there was a nice rabbit handy... that, I wouldn't refuse." She grinned, mouth falling open slightly to show sharp white canines and a pink tongue.
Noticing the other female, she nodded in greeting. "Hello there! Nothing in particular, as far as I can tell... ? This just seems to be a random chance gathering. Wherein no one is eating anyone else," she added, with a wink toward Berto.

Dunstan looked over to the other male wolf. "I won't eat you, I was just uncertain if you were going to be friend or foe, so I was on guard in case it turned out to be you chose the option of foe. " Dunstan listened, and realized the other guy was hungry "Hm well now that you mention it something to snack on might not be a bad idea, what kind of snacks were you looking for?" The idea of a light snack was sounding like a good idea to Dunstan now too. "Oh Well hello Berto, to answer your question I happened to be hunting one day in a southern territory, and while I was hunting something glimmering caught my eye, so I went towards the direction of what was glinting since while I was on a minor hunt for some small prey like a tasty rabbit the rabbit got away needless to say when the shiny object glinted as I went to pounce. I was agitated at first due to the loss of my hunt, but when I arrived at the branch on the tree that was low enough for me to stand up against and grab the object I noticed that They we a shiny trinket, and figured out they were bells when I gripped the string holding them on the branch in my mouth , I yanked it off the branch , and they jingled."Pausing to stop and reflect on what happened his first few hunts after he managed to get the bells looped around his tail failing he replied to answer more of Berto's questions. "Well to be honest at first it was hard to hunt with the bells as I would track my prey they would jingle, and as such the prey became alerted to my presence. Hunting wise I learned to use the bells as a kind of lure hanging my tail in just the right position a prey would come to check out the shiny trinket, which allowed me to pounce, and get a quick meal. When hunting larger prey it took some learning of how to balance my tail so that the bells would rest in the fur on my tail, and not jingle quite so loud. Once I figured out how to do this technique It became easier to catch a more satisfying meal.""Well I was headed towards the northern territory to scout out a potential den location, when I was side tracked, and became curious as to what it was you were doing, that is when we ended up bumping into each other."Dunstan turned to look at the females responding to Berto, and he chuckled to himself as clearly, he had some charm to him that the new female wolf friends were very much liking. All of a sudden out of the brush next to where they were all congregating a new female made her presence known, and Dunstan couldn't help but take notice of the pleasant floral fragrance she had emanating from her. A smirk came across his face seemingly as if though he was enchanted by the fragrance, Smiling when she began to speak he looked into her eyes. "Well hello miss," He knelt down on his front legs as an attempt to show a bow towards her direction. Dunstan suddenly forgot what he was doing here, as he couldn't help but to look over the new female wolfs appearance. Word Count: 574

Berto was very glad to hear he wasn't dying today, he let out a small huff as he watched the ladies gather around and Dustan had one heck of a story to tell about his bells, the creamy wolf nodding at the other's words. "Well, they're snazzy!" He proclaimed before he watched the maroon female waltz up and Dustan bowed, everyone watching the new female.
"Hello." Berto muttered to the other's grinning the wolfiest of grins as he looked at all these wolves around him. His tail swished back and fourth with happiness, maybe he was about to make some new friends. "Well, I'm Berto and this is Dustan!" He leaned into the dark wolf waiting for the ladies to introduce themselves.
"I was on my way to find a snack but sitting here talking to all of you is such a better thing to do!" He was a very happy wolf, the male loving company as long as no one was negative, he was a very social creature and he wanted nothing more than to secure all of these wolves as his friends. "I didn't know that so many other's were around, This just makes my day dude!" His tail swished a little faster, his dopey grin finding it's way across his face.
"Introduce yourselves! Tell us something about you!" He wasn't trying to sound like a game show host, he wasn't hosting a game show but he really wanted to be friends and he sounded just about cheesy as he spoke. He let eyes slide over each wolf around him, He couldn't help but notice the way Sera laughed at him. She was a very pretty female. Then brown eyes fell on Aysel who looked like mischief to him. He would very much enjoy her company. And lastly he let eyes find Cleo who was prancing through, boy did she look fancy. She probably wouldn't like him and he let out a small sigh. Oh well, hopefully he could just keep making friends. [word count: 1,060]

Cleo walked over to the handsome black wolf and seen that he bowed to her " Hello handsome."then she walked passed him and when she did her tail gently glided under his chin. Then she turned her head to look at the black wolf, smiled and winked as she walked away. When she heard a female voice speck her attention went to her. Cleo loved the color of green ( Ayala)!that this wolf was. Cleo smiled at her " Thank you for welcoming me. Well that is good we wouldnt want a mess. ". But who really fought her attention was this female wolf (sera)that didn't look so confident when she walked in. Cleo decided that she will try to make this wolf her best friend. Cleo walked over and sat next to this wolf and turned to her and said " Hello, I am Cleo." And she smiled at her. Then this brown wolf that she didn't even spoke. He wanted everyone to introduce themselves. Cleo loved this idea and she spoke first. " Hello, my name is Cleo. She made sure when she spoke that it very was confident and had no weakness. i love to walk in this spot that has nothing but flowers because the smell of them relived me of stress. That was what I was actually walking back from." She smiled and looked at everyone else.

For a moment, Sera felt lost in the conversation, ears flicking gently as the female she had spoken to focused on the males. Although - she did get it! Everything was exciting! Her eyes drifted to Dustan, noting with a hint of a smile his interest in the new and pretty red female. Was she witnessing a budding romance, or a scene that would unfold into chaos? Or, nothingness! That too! Seraphim was one to overdramatize daily ongoings, she knew that!
Her tail wagged rapidly, ears perked and body taunt as she listened to each wolf. New friends! It had been so long since she had been around other wolves, and honestly? It was energizing! She loved company, no - she was starved for it. This was wonderful. She broke into a smile, giving an agreeing hum as Berto basically spoke her own thoughts. At the gesture to introduce themselves she paused her tail wagging to think, breaking into a whirl of wags once she found something to say. Cleo, however, distracted her at first, causing Seraphim's eyes to snap over to Cleo and body squirm for the other wolf to have more room.
"Hello!" She chirped back in her high but slightly breathy voice, absolutely thrilled to have direct attention. Was it mentioned she loved attention? "Cleo is such a nice name! I'm Seraphim, you can call me Sera!"
Now, she could answer Berto! Her head turned to Berto, waiting patiently for Cleo to finish before she answered his question, too. "I'm Seraphim, or Sera for short!" Yes, repeat yourself, A+ Seraphim. It didn't dawn on her that the others probably heard her name earlier. "I like to explore and meet other wolves, I suppose? Oh! And try new things! Mother always said you couldn't live the fullest life without trying as much as you could." She paused, snapping her head back to Cleo. Wait, was rolling in flowers how the pretty wolf smelled so good? That was a genius idea. "Also, you smell amazing, Cleo. I should try that."Words: 339

Dunstan observed how friendly the female wolf had greeted him, taking note the tone she used with him, and how she called him handsome. "What a clever idea Miss Cleo." Dunstan smirked at how clever she was about using the flowers to give her a pleasant scent.
Dunstan became quiet as he waited for the other wolves, to introduce themselves, it appears that the other lovely seemingly shy wolf responded well to Cleo's greeting.
"Well hello, Miss Sera," Dunstan leaning forward with both his paws and a slight tilt of his head with his face point in the downward position.
Dunstan liked to use formal greeting especially around the opposite gender, it seemed only right to be polite as they were all becoming perhaps new friends.
As Berto introduced Dunstan and bumped into him a little, Dunstan tried to present himself in accordance of a greeting with what he had hoped was a charming smile.
"What were you all doing since we happened to grace each other's paths, perhaps there is more too this tale then meets the eye? I was heading towards the Ravenbranch territory myself to scout out the region." Dunstan said as he was realizing he should start to move onward before too long since he would need food before he took on this trek.

The male smiled at all those around him, he was so happy to meet some other wolves. He sat to form a weird circle so they were all around talking to eachother. "So." He began, feeling much like a professior talking to his class. "Tell me something about yourself. I'll start!" Hew as so very proud of himself at the very moment meeting so many wolves and not going to get eaten. He loved friends and he wanted so many. " I like mushrooms!" Of course Everyone had to know that, " I know so many mushrooms! there are so many different kinds, some make you feel funny, some make you throw up and some make you sleepy!" He wanted everyone else to know that you could eat some mushrooms and not others.
He smiled from ear to ear it seemed as he watched the colorful wolves around him. "So that's my special fact!" Not that it was very special, the more you knew him the more you realized that he really liked mushrooms. He let his eyes fall on the ladies around them, then Dunstun. What a colorful bunch of wolves, His tail thumped against the ground pushing little clouds of dust with each thump. He was so please with himself. "So whose next!" hopefully these wolves weren't put off by his questions and excitement it was so hard for him to hide it. {wc: 1305}
