"God Modding" is when you assume that you're able to hit someone without first hearing their response or assuming that you're able to dodge anything. It's acting like anything you say "just happens". Typically, it is assumed that the average human cannot jump 30 feet in the air, do a backflip, shoot 50 zombies and land safely in a cat-like position back on the ground. A "god mod" is essentially the idea of being "god". Anything you say goes, there is no trial and error and the only thing that exists is the plain and simple fact that it happened and that's how it is. No questions asked.
It doesn't work that way.
Everybody has some sort of limitation. You can't just use several attacks in one post. It's like a game. When you choose to do a command such as Fire, you can't just also use ice, lightning or any other ability at the same time.
Just think that each post is the game. In Final Fantasy VII, you don't see Cloud release five Comet 2's on an enemy at one time. There's wait times for when he can use each ability and only one at a time when he does. Also, when you use support magic remember that those also have timers on them as well; so magic such as haste do not last throughout an entire battle. It could last perhaps 3-5 posts. Healing spells also vary depending on the strength. Cure being one post of damage. Cura being 1-2. Curaga being 1-3 and the rarest and hardest to learn or obtain, Curaja, healing for up to 4.
We hope that God Modding will not be an issue here and we all take the other players into consideration with our posts. Thanks and happy posting!
