Hi, I posted this in the WWF:G forums, decided to delete it from there and post it here instead!

I haven't really looked at anything in terms of what WWE 2K18 is offering, mainly because the 2K company NEVER releases information until a few days before the game is even released.

This is more rather what I would want in this game, at least what I would love 2K to possibly fix or work on. Also keep in mind that I have played 2K16, so the factors from this list are from my experiences in playing that, and I have not played 2K17. Had to spend money on other games.

Major things:
1. TARGETING SYSTEM: This will forever be my main gripe about the WWE games today. Ever since 2008 they have COMPLETELY abandoned having a fully responsive targeting system. In 2K16 they had a manual target option, but you have to hit L3 on the PS4 controller and it is barely responsive. We all know how fun it is to be in multi person matches, and the fact that you can't correctly attack a person at a certain time makes the match harder than it needs to be.

2. INTERNET SERVERS/DESYNCHING: Should be the internet top priority if 2K thought clearly, is the fact that multi-person matches desynch, which means that 1 or 2 people end up with a different match from everyone else and their characters act strange for the rest of the match until they leave and allow a CPU to take over. I understand coding is quite a hard thing to do, but when you're a massive company that makes loads of money, you'd assume that they would be able to afford high ranked coders, for lack of a better term.

3. Reversal System: I actually like the limited reversals, feels as though the match won't be a total counterfest and it keeps people away from being unstoppable. The only thing I had problems with was the timing of reversing certain moves. In my opinion, the timing should be when your opponent is at the point of contact, or the point of initiating the move's animation. For some moves in 2K16, it wasn't that way, in fact some moves had a terrible window to counter.

Fire Pro Wrestling

So if people haven't looked it up, or barely know about it; Fire Pro Wrestling is a very good arcade paced wrestling game that is VERY deep in terms of details in wrestling. It is making a comeback for the PS4 and Steam. Details shall be shown in the link I'm posting here.

Release date for Steam ((PC)) users is July 10th. I believe they're going to basically have that so that people can apply feedback and initiate it for the PS4 release.

I played WWE 2K16 also and found the lack of reversals annoying, considering it's a game and most won't actually punish you for showing some skill! If the actual reversal system was good, it wouldn't be an issue! I remember Day Of Reckoning 2 on the Gamecube playing more realistically than the modern games! blaugh

Issuing open challenges to all on FPW on Steam if it's reasonably priced! cool
