Côté Ouest Ballroom
Côté Ouest Ballroom was once part of an old fort but has since been repurposed. One may ask for what exactly, and the answer is simple: parties! The ballroom is a stone building with an extravagant interior space that anyone can rent out for balls, parties, galas, or any event if one has the coin for it. The Ouest family owns the space and gets a lot of income from renting it out. There's at least one ball a month, whether it be the seasonal balls, the yearly ball thrown by the High Council, or a private one funded by a noble family to show their wealth. This is also the go-to place for charity events and has even been used as an art gallery! It's actually quite difficult and expensive to reserve this space for one's event.

The only access to the ballroom is up a large stone staircase in the front of the building. As guests or possible renters enter, the entryway is a surprisingly spacious and wide room with carpeted flooring. Here is where coats are taken, brochures are passed, itineraries and explanations are spieled, the guest list is checked, etc. There is also a set of restrooms on the left side of this room. The door on the right leads directly to the kitchen, though that's more important for caterer's, not guests. Across from the front doors is another set that leads directly into the ballroom itself. This, of course, can be decorated differently for each event, so it never looks exactly the same. Columns line the left and right side of the room, and the floor reflects the image above it. A set of double-doors on the right lead to the kitchen but are usually blocked off by a spread of hors d'oeuvres and extravagant treats. There are only three sources of natural light: the glass doors on the right that lead to the lower balcony, the massive round sky light above the ballroom floor in the center of the ceiling, and from upstairs. On the very far side of the room is two sets of staircases on the left and right leading up to the same balcony. Whatever live band playing the event can usually be found between these. Up the stairs is another set of restrooms, four spare rooms for private events, and the glass doors leading to the balcony overlooking Lusia outside.

Enjoy yourself at whatever festivity in which you're taking part!
