CAPITOL BUILDING
The capitol within the capital. This is where the High Council of Carmillion meets and discusses current events, diplomatic issues, etc. The building itself is massive, and the interior is clean, shiny, and decorated in white, champagne, and gold. With large hallways, this houses the offices of each member of the High Council, the city's judges, and some lesser-known board members. There's a large courtroom where trials are held, several meeting rooms, and offices regarding public policies: housing, building permits, etc. This is the place to apply for anything including exploration permits to leave the Kingdom in hopes of finding more in what was once Yainder's Unexplored Region. The lobby is a big room with a sign-in desk and leather seating arrangements. Paintings of the kingdom cling to the walls. Open to the public is a museum celebrating Carmillion and its history just off the lobby. Entry is free. Normally, the High Council will simply address specific individuals via courier. If, however, one receives a summons, they're either in for something great...or terrible.A big welcome to all visitors!
