Okay, so what was the deal with this place? He and his posse had woken up together because they were just so in sync like that, but they had to go down one at a time? Dean had argued along with the rest of them about it, but there was no point, Nash had pointed out eventually. Just get the cool s**t and go. Fine.

Outwardly surly but inwardly excited, Dean shifted from foot to foot outside of the cove. Weapons, the hunter person had said. Like guns and swords and cool s**t! He was going to be a video game character basically, and the thought of it just made his eyes sparkle. Wait, that was more like an anime. <********> Anyway, he was more than ready to hit the cove by the time it was his turn, and he slipped his way down the steps into the small room.

Seriously. What did they keep here, weapons for ants?

It felt a little like a tomb, and it made Dean shudder as he skulked about. Were any of these second hand? Was he going to get something with a gruesome past or a cool nickname?

( if i remembered, i would tell you. )

Dean jumped and immediately assumed what he thought was proper kung fu positioning. "Who the ********?" he yelped, eyes darting around. "I'm not gonna play any games here, dude. I'll kick your a**."

( hmm... ) It sounded like a woman. A ghostly woman. ******** him, was this place haunted? Dean really, really didn't want to deal with that right after being told everything spooky was real. That'd just be a real d**k move on Deus' part.

"What the ********," he muttered, edging around and keeping his back towards a wall. "It's my turn, damn it, I waited like for fifteen minutes. Get out or I'll wipe the floor with you with my cool new weapon!"

( mm...but you must find me first... )

Dean blinked and made an exasperated noise. "Cut the crap and just...God! WHO ARE YOU, LADY?"

There was no response at first. And then: ( to your left, i think. )

He turned his head and noticed a glowing tablet there. "Oh." It was tugging at him in a way he didn't quite understand, and that frightened him. But the closer he got, the more it seemed like something was soothing that unease away, and eventually he tapped the tablet and jerked his hand away just in case.

( there you are~ )

Dean jumped back again with a gasp. "Holy s**t. A rock with telepathy?"

( i am a horseman, ) she corrected him, and the calm intonations seemed to reverberate in his head. ( you may call me breindha. )

There was a pause. And then:

"...Your name is ******** Brenda?"
